After i stopped the AC i put a wet towel above of the filter. Better in the morning but when i open the door i felt dust on the other side of the building, next to parking lot. He left so i went to hose the building. However my hose broke. It was not shutting down though it was working perfectly last time. Maybe because it's been sitting for too long next to patio door (water in Oregon has very little of not minerals like lime in it to block the mechanism). Though the screen is blocked, someone might stick his hand or a tool inside. After i hosed everything i realized they were large amounts of dust by the curbs next to the two parking spots. I went there when a woman from office, though without a uniform, i haven't seen before, probably inspecting the buildings, came by and stopped her cart next to me. I put the hose down and put it on mist because it was the only setting that would not move the hose around and went inside to shut it down. Closest i can show to describe her. But inches taller. So it wasn't Putin or Pope Pius or Xenu.

6:31 Today it's 100 degrees, i went and washed again the patio and reinstalled the unit and when i bent to put that foam i noticed the evil smell of mineral insulation. So i figured, it must be in the gaps left by the sliding of the concrete floor, i filled the gaps with joint compound (made with gypsum that in time...) made a bit of a mess (i'm a bit drunk and was in a big hurry, could not stop the unit for long) but now i don't feel the dust smell inside, except for what's left in the unit and still flying around. How it gets in here. I think the foam doesn't seal perfectly and there's a bit of communication by the bottom pan that collects the water from condensation between the cold and warm sides of the unit. But nothing changed, how come this year is so bad? Could it be someone filled the gaps with dust, on purpose? (and refilled, after i hosed the floor and the gaps).

După, am mers la Spirit Mountain unde am dormit 3 ore în mașină după ce am deschis puțin un geam (1 cm) dar când m-am trezit, eram așa de amețit că nu puteam merge până la toaletă. La 5 dimineața toată valea era inundată de un fum ciudat care amintea de cauciuc ars, am mers câțiva km până am scăpat de fum, dar eram foarte obosit și era să adorm la volan de câteva ori până acasă (o oră de condus), deși am condus de acolo cu zero somn la aceeași oră de atâtea ori, fără probleme. A și faza de la WC. La noul WC de la Spirit Mountain, mare uriaș, luxos, cu piatră sau marmură pe jos, gol la ora aceea, 2 (doi) îngrijitori dădeau simultan cu mop-ul, unul dintr-o direcție și unul din cealaltă chiar la picioarele mele în timp ce făceam pipi. Nu știu dacă au vrut de fapt doar să mă enerveze, ca să mă trezesc fiindcă aveam de condus.

Înainte de a adormi pe scaun la Chinook, mi s-a mai întâmplat o fază. Are sens, dacă le ieșea chestia cu fumul și aveam un accident după, putea să spună că ei au intervenit ca să mă liniștească, și din partea NATO. Acum, a pornit o sirenă de ambulanță. Cu un spital lângă, pare normal, dar momentele sunt mereu alese.

Mă pregăteam să pun și diagrama cu lanțul de comandă militar al NATO dar îmi dau seama că nu are sens, pentru că NATO este un tratat atât de vag încât nu poate exista o comandă, s-ar părea, și așa se vede și din practică până acum, că e doar un cadru legal în care fiecare stat acționează voluntar. De fapt așa a fost și la Aliați (da știu numele pare generic, dar mergea pe vremea aceea, în care apropo, oamenii educați erau mult mai eleganți, care practic erau ce e NATO acum, fără Germania și Italia dar cu Rusia) în al doilea război mondial. Nu a existat, nu putea să existe o comandă unică, deși au existat unele coordonări și cooperări (un exemplu, americanii bombardau Germania ziua iar britanicii noaptea) etc..

Mălina, Mladin's daughter, came to visit, she was tanned, green or blue eyes, her face looking a bit tired but satisfied, maybe from studying or partying (can't remember if she was still a "student in medicine"). She examined my resume and said, sarcastically, "it is very well made". Many years later i found out that Malin had a breakdown later in that year and never appeared on the scene again...

I've been searching... (Big water noise after 2 AM, but the shower doesn't sound that loud... stopped as i finished this.). 12:12 I don't know, i'm tired and under influence of dust. Just went and threw some water on decks, they immediately produced some guys under my door. Ever since yesterday i was aching for hosing the building but the guy upstairs didn't leave. There is no point in hosing my patio area if i can't do his. It seems like the guy on the right here has bigger pupils, that shows a smaller focal distance thus wider face and everything. Anyways i stop here, at this hour i can't do any better or any more at all.

12:40 They were a couple of garbage items on the ground, and the garbage truck was late (usually comes around 10 on Thursdays, blame it on holiday). I went to pick those when he was approaching the bin. Also the driver seems in training, it took him several moves to get there. I was looking at him and he stopped and thought he saw me and went to throw those bottles. However he restarted with a sharp right (instead of going straight to the bin as expected) and had to get out of the way. Left my mail on the stairs and went to picture the signs. When i came back, one guy again next to the floating van which i thought was gone. No need to say. In the park, people from my lists.

Today the lead, Steve Eaton (coincidence of name with the company) decided to slow her down a bit so he had her doing a board that had a missing part and Angela lost 4 hours because she first load the machine, realize there's a missing part, remove all the 100+ types of parts (because one of missing) and load new ones.

4:11 Yesterday when i was under car removing the filter to look for debris i saw the handywoman (tech) passing by with a large smile. There is no doubt she is a man (height, body shape) and she coordinates everything around here, since the day we moved, but i'm  not 100% sure if she is this guy.

8:42 I finally figured how to cut the first filter (with the tools that i have, a small saw, a screwdriver that broke and some pliers). There is nothing in it whatsover (there is a reflection from an oil bubble and the flash) and/or maybe a piece of filing from cutting the filter.

There are lots of speculations on forums on what the differential pressure for the bypass valve to open is. To end this, i used a scale (that wasn't working, but tonight it did after i put a battery that was hanging on the desk for a longtime) and a screwdriver. The valve opens at about 0.8 kgf and has a surface of less than 1 square cm. It is safe to assume it opens at 1 kgf/sqcm which translated in psi is about 15. Again from forums i found the differential for the filter media at operating temperature, which is about 1-2 psi. So it would take 15 times the viscosity, assuming the media differential increases linearly with it to open it which is very possible when oil is cold, but don't know if at 70 degrees F. But even if it opens, only a percentage of the oil will pass through it.

9:20 I knew it was going to be trouble if i went outside to wash the dust on the screen (instread of hosing at this hour) to be able to start the AC (since they trimmed the lawn and stuck the trimmer in the ground raising a cloud of dust earlier today). Children and teens everywere, like in a carnival, looking Japanese, probably "attracted by the ice cream van" earlier. Two kids passed by and one of them dropped intentionally (i saw him) an unopened bag of some food between the cars. It was for this reason, too many people passing by that i blocked (glued with silicon, removable) the screen at the backdoor, and never use it, but i have to go around if i want to wash it.

9:27 Just opened the door and they are outside the door now.

9:58 Bullied by kids at your own place. Some of them where leaning on the rear of the car when i started to yell at them. Some looking Asian, some (the older one who spoke English, Hungarian). One of them was handling a long stick like in movies with martial arts. I told them to go at their apartments. All unsupervised minors out in the alley at 9:30 PM. Was thinking about calling security or the cops but for security i don't know the number and i was pretty sure they will leave until the cops came. They moved a few ft away and started to say something aboug 6ft.

Then i went and took the car and left and drove around for about 15 minutes. First they went up the lawn and then they moved next to garbage bin, hostensibly sitting on another car, watching me and yelling and laughing. Parked and armed car's alarm which i usually don't because of so many false alarms in the past (but those were due to an old battery). Never seen something like that here, or maybe since the beggining when they were playing and yelling in the lawn for hours, but those were different kids. Actually they are all always different.

As we're eating, i hear them again in the lawn in the back.

How is that important to me. 4:58 in France is 5:58 in Romania which is 7:58 (PM) here. Around that time the gang of kids hit the rail at my door while i was cutting that filter and was dressed summarily because of the heat (85 inside) and had my hands were full of oil. This wouldn't have happened if they didn't raise the dust today and i could hose the screens and start the AC. But i'm pretty sure i was not visible from outside, they were objects in the way and only the small desk lamp on and there was still enough light outside. 

Just did something and remembered something else. Today in the park i passed through the cloud of smell of a big dog pooping and got to breath it and now i'm contaminated again with it.

Ok got it. They came to make a point. They have been promoting for years this image with kids coming at my door. The verses from the first entry today are from the Goat with Three Kids, a very popular short story for children in Romania and were intended as a political satire with links to my blog with impostors.

It is told usually in kindergarten but now i see voices against it. Truth is it is unappropriate for children, because of violence and sexual allusions. It is in a way similar to Red Riding Hood or Three Little Pigs. The author, otherwise celebrated in Romania and taught in schools, has also written porn stories. Most likely another subversive Hungarian posing as Romanian. He is said to be born in... Humulești.
