10:45 Was just about to ask a question about how the solar paint announced by Mercedes could work. From the news article i understand they are tiny solar cells embedded in paint.
Regular solar panels have cells that each produces a certain voltage. Those cells are then connected together, in series and/or parallel to get a needed output voltage and amperage. While i understand you can make microscopic cells and mix them with pigments in paint (they say the come in colors), or add pigment to each cell, i can't understand how the collect voltage.
One way would be to have at the surface a layer that is both conductive and transparent and to somehow orient the tiny cells withing the base layer so they make contact at one end with the surface and the other to the covering conductive layer. Could be done magnetically i guess by incorporating tiny magnets in each sell and apply a magnetic field on the sheet metal during drying phase.
However, the voltage would be small because of the limited thickness of the paint. So you would need a lot of amperage to pass through that transparent outer coating.
However there is no answer yet cause the whole thing is still in research phase which usually takes years if it finalizes into something. So they just pushed the news out the door for obvious propaganda reasons.

6:10 This means that if the observer moves in the opposite direction, the relativistic mass could be negative for that observer?
