6:26 Winter solstice. Sun "stays". Which means it's not going down south no more (angle with horizon at noon). Starting today, will go back up until June 21 when it will reach maximum, another solstice, with an equinox (night equals day) on March 21.
Started again to search for a face, a guy with slanted eyes and narrow forehead with lots of hair for his age, again room filled with smoke. Probably some guy passing with a dog stuck again something in two different places, one next to the wall where i'm at, one under deck. I went and stepped on the bulges, but lately i realized it's not really helping a lot, they added something in the formula that makes it keep burning. I think of a short bald smiling guy (blonde Buddha as i call him) that i once saw with the dog very close to that wall and my door.

10:38 (19) And it wouldn't be fair if i didn't add this. For those who didn't know, built with a fraction of the budget for F22, despite all economic sanctions,

Another mechanic told me i should go and ask a mechanic who has "the expensive scanner" cause they can read the level with those.
None of these is true, i found out two days ago that on newer "sealed" transmissions ("newer" is one way to say it, my old Elantra was a 2013 and i was convinced you cannot check ATF level on those) with no dipstick hole there is a hole on the side of the transmission (actually close to front of the car, kinda hard to reach if you don't raise the car) that is at the exact level of transmission fluid when the car is sitting on a flat (level) area like on concrete in a shop, called overfill hole. You clean and remove the plug on that hole like you would with the drain plug and watch what happens. If it flows, barrely, it means the fluid is at the right level. If it doesn't flow, it means you have to add until it flows (barely), etc..
It seems no mechanic i know knows about or is willing to do it and i am just perplexed cause these have been around since at least 2013. I checked videos on youtube and some came with crazy ways to do it. One guy who drained it all (it would not come out all however, because there is some in the torque converter, you have to hook the tranny to a special machine only dealers have) measured it and put back in the same amount, after filing the head of the fill plug until will come out (3 times, after which 90% of the fluid is changed). So today i will attempt to do it myself (again in a shop where i know the owner and he said he would let me do it, it's a 5 minutes job, that to me could be half hour because when i do something i always stop and think of the other things i see around when i looked into an area for the first time). It's even more complicated than that, because at my car the fill hole for the tranny is under some part (flange under shifter lever) that you have to remove first, and if it's low, i will attempt to fill through the same overfill hole with a special funnel i just invented. That is if i can reach to the overflow plug without raising the car. And for some reason i don't understand, i have a gut feeling that i will run into some surprise if i do it.
11:10 Just came back, i didn't even open the plug, just by loosening it i saw fluid coming out, put it back. The gentleman at the shop help me confirm a diagnosis i once had in a transmission shop. Soft transmission mount which i could probably replace myself. Looking for an OEM part(s) online, and i need a full transmission flush, 10 qts, because fluid is kinda brown, consistent with the mileage, which at the dealer cost 210 for the fluid only. OEM Hyundai.

7:53 Living with the ninja, in ninjaland. As i said, they blew dust yesterday. Though i wiped clean the deck, the sill, area above door, dust was still present inside this morning. Unlike yesterday, not much smoke. At 1 AM i plugged with soil mixed with cement two more "mole holes" before i went to sleep. My esophagus was hurting so i took some tea, coconut oil. As i was nauseated (from using the car yesterday, still stinks a bit like rotting bone meal, dog pooh), went for a breath of fresh air, around 6:30. Also to pick the clamps from the locker. Working again at a catch can, this time won't take that long because i accumulated some expertise. Many "people" (read ninja) around here freshly started their cars in the alley, so i took the upper alley, where a guy was working at a car and started his didgeridoo right after i passed, waking up everybody who was not. I crossed the street, climbed the stairs at the hospital. Many cars coming at that hour. I walked a bit and came back, took the clamps from the locker. Inside i realized the clamps are not good. I just reordered the old ones but i forgot they came then by mistake two sizes smaller, however it was that mistake that allowed those to work. So i looked to return those and get a different size, however delivery date was now changed from next day to one month from now. The guy upstairs started to squeak on my brain waves so i washed the towel i used last night and put it back wet on top of the filter, while washer would cover the noise of my thoughts. Ate half of ripe avocado to lube my irritated esophagus, made some broccoli (steam boiled with a bit of water on bottom of the ceramic pot for 5 minutes), eat with a bit of chicken and garlic, while eating i opened the door and there was this guy with a green truck in front of building D hitting the truck with something, making a big noise. That noise and irritation at my esophagus from dust, nausea, triggered a dysphagia episode. Felt like i was so full i could never eat again, though still hungry. I siped some tea, painfully, the food went down after about 10 attempts. Had the courage to finish eating.
Any other type of clamps failed. But i remember now, even these wouldn't work (hose would start to leak) unless i added a bit of JB Weld steel reinforced adhesive on the screw to prevent it from unscrewing "by itself". Maybe i should go back to regular clamps and use adhesive from the start.
