What i don't understand is why the spike proteins, that are different for each variant of the virus but should be all the same for one virion, look all different from each other in this colorized image. Or could it be that the spike proteins have been cut by the microtome used to prepare the frozen sample randomly all in different places, and then we see some further away from the plane of cutting. What i also don't understand is the poor resolution of this image. The resolution of an electron microscope can go all the way to 0.2 nm, here he have something in the range of 1nm. And the grains. Where the grains come from?

I posted this about a week ago.

7:50 Don't want to go into too many details of how i replaced the CV shaft on the right side. Mentioning just the hell of a noise and bumping some of the neighbors did, as usually. Talking aloud nonsense for hours while i was under car. Girl with father and dog bending the other way one meter from the car while i was under.  Smoke coming from the ground, the kid with the shepard dog almost falling from the balcony. They didn't give me a one minute break to think. If i have very clear in my mind what i'm supposed to do, i can do it. At the smallest previously unknown problem, i just can't think what to do next.

Didn't realize how high i was only when i went for a test drive and to return the Autozone shaft. But the drivers on the street. Up to ten accident situations created artificially.

Car's behaviour changed dramatically, as far as transmission shifting. These guys at Autozone should be sued big time for those shafts they sell.

Unprecedented amounts of smoke came in here through the rest of the night. The guy upstairs seems "affected" by it, yelling really loud all by himself in there.

8:06/6:06 Praful de pe tobă. Ei întotdeauna vin doar cu diferențe. S-au strâns taxe cu 40 miliarde lei mai mult ca anul trecut. Ministerul Sănătății a primit în plus 2,4 miliarde lei la rectificarea neconstiuțională. Dar câți au avut până acum și câți au cheltuit și pe ce?

Ce au făcut cu cei 19 miliarde în afară de cei 2.329 pentru salarii (cheltuieli personal)? Dar cum putem ști că vor primi într-adevăr 2.4 miliarde de lei și ce vor face cu ei? Așa că nu mai îndrăznesc să propun o dare de seamă amănunțită cu cheltuieli la fiecare minister,  măcar la început de an. Măcar la schimbare de guvern. Gândiți-vă. Dacă ar fi pe bune, de fiecare dată când ar veni un alt guvern, ar arăta ce au făcut precedenții. Dar sunt toți aceeași. Nu se rotesc doar prim-miniștrii. Se rotesc de mult toți miniștrii.

Nu-mi amintesc de când citesc știrile ca ei să fi scăpat vreo sumă. Sumele de Anexa 3 la legea bugetului de stat, Anexa la Legea Bugetului Asigurărilor Sociale, realitatea/minciuna bugetului, sume pe care nu le discută nimeni niciodată.

În 2006 am lucrat la ultimul meu job. O stație de benzină 76 care aparținea lui... Luke Oil. Cea mai "busy" stație de benzină din NW, după cum spunea managera. Vară, căldură, 12 pompe, alergam toată ziua de la o pompă la alta 2-3 angajați care se schimbau mereu. La un moment dat, au apărut niște absolvenți de liceu, umblau drogați, unul s-a împiedicat și a căzut rău, dar nu-i păsa. A venit într-o zi într-o mașină un tip durduliu și a început să le explice: Nu vreți să veniți în armată. După vreo tură prin Afganistan, primiți bani de facultate, etc.. Și duși au fost. Ce bănuiesc eu că fac ăștia. Îi antrenează puțin după care îi bagă drept carne de tun în conflicte. Părinții primesc o știre. Dar cine știe cu adevărat câți se duc? Dacă acolo nu sunt pur și simplu executați sau trimiși în misiuni sinucigașie unde îi așteaptă niște ninja în ambuscadă. La fel ca bugetul, COVID-ul, etc., cifrele le știu doar ei. O metodă de decimare a populației din SUA. Vreți să luați bani ca să ucideți? Nu-i nimic, vă punem noi la locul vostru. Job-ul mi s-a terminat abrupt când m-am operat la mandibulă din cauza unor dureri cauzate de material care a fost împins dincolo de vârful dintelui la un root canal. Cea mai simplă operație și au greșit-o, cusătura adică nu a fost strânsă, s-a desfăcut și am mâncat cu paiul câteva luni de zile în timp ce umblam de la un doctor la altul, până mi-a crescut altă gingie pe os. Coincidență cu venirea lui Băsescu în SUA în ziua operației.

Dacă ne bagă ăștia "generalul" Ciucă într-un conflict regional cu Rusia, Ucraina, chestii din astea, din România va mai rămâne doar Moldova sub influență Rusească și Muntenia, independentă. Ca fosta Iugoslavie.

Cât despre Ciucă (și toți ceilalți politicieni "români"), îm vine în minte o veche zicală românească care începe așa: Din cocoș nu faci găină...

I noticed in the days with smoke coming from the tiny "volcanoes" there is nobody moving or showing in the next building (usually, at least i can hear from time to time the guy speaking on the phone, i see the big dog in the balcony, lights at evening, etc..). Probably for their protection. Big noises if i open the door. Ambulances, planes, airhorns. People passing by as i search and step on the mounds. Smoke subsiding.

10:17 Era un timp când unii dintre ei scriau în media, deși parțial, deși amestecat, chestii legate de democrație. Democrația electorală, când oamenii își aleg politicienii, înseamnă o pluralitate de opinii și deci de partide. În momentul în care se renunță la această pluralitate fie ea doar formală, fie și temporar, fie și prin rotație, avem partidul unic cu un conducător unic. Se convine contopirea tuturor opiniilor (care contează la vot în Parlament) într-una singură, de dragul nu nu numai al stabilității ci a înăbușirii oricăror păreri contrare. Opinia publică trebuie să creadă că există mai multe păreri, dar ele sunt înăbușite de dragul rezistenței coaliției. Iar în cazul de față, părerile contrare sunt că toți sunt niște impostori. După 30 de ani de haos cu aparență de democrație, se ajunge la stabilitate cu aparență de dictatură. Nu credeam să trăiesc să văd și versiunea asta. Dictatura partidelor. Asta arată clar că partidele sunt niște figuranți aduși cu autocarele să-i vadă lumea la vreun congres, în realitate sunt doar câțiva actori care trag după ei niște partide imaginare, iar acum, s-au hotărât să pună capăt oricăror aparențe, discuții speranțe. Sau poate unii cred că Nicolae Ciucă e vreo reîncarnare a lui Nicolae Ceaușescu, iar Nicolae Ceaușescu de care toți doream să scăpăm, nu momentumul interbelic și de fapt cel milenar le-a făcut vreun bine. Lasciate.

You can "see" better with electron microscopes which don't use light, are very expensive and big instruments that can take in size up to a room or more, however the problem is how you prepare the sample (there are several methods, including freezing, all destructive, which means you won't see a "live" virus) and then cut it and if you get lucky you might cut right through a virus and even spike proteins.

It is said the round (spherical, whatever) part of a COVID virus is about 100 nm, or about 5 times less than smallest visible object, while the spike protein should be in the range of maybe 30-50 nanometers. Following is the only "real" image i found with a COVID virus, spike protein included. Here, the spike protein seems to be half of the diameter of the virus, or around 50 nm.

For that reason, there are many different representations of the coronavirus, all with different sizes of the spike protein, which may be due to variants or variety of theories, guesses and artists' imagination. One of them resembles pretty close to the map of Africa.

Este interesantă re-numirea unui general la 20 de zile după ce a picat în Parlament (Poate Președintele să re-numească un Prim Ministru abia respins) în timp ce Iohannis o invită la București pe Maia Sandu ? Și insistența, ceea ce arată un plan pe termen lung care trebuie îndeplinit. 

Vor încerca să repete istoria? Îi vor scrie ăștia lui "Iohannis" un episod în care el cu ajutorul handicapatului atlet să devină re-Întregitorul, închizând gura la toți, lăsându-ne nouă un conflict fără sfârșit, cu armata rusă în teritoriu?

O întrebare de forumuri de specialitate. Cineva mai știe ce se întâmplă cu 22000 tone de muniție după 30 de ani?

 3:11/1:11 Încă niște reflecții legate de guvernarea prin rotație (time shared, part time government). Un prim ministru "la termen" împreună cu guvernul său va putea face cam orice, fiindcă "opoziția", ceva care își pierde înțelesul în această situație, va închide ochii, știind că le va veni și lor rândul.

Odată creat acest precedent, în viitor vom putea avea parte de asemenea guvernări tot timpul, cu partidele parlamentare mari rotindu-și candidații, fiecare uimind alegătorii lor și ai celorlalți. Adică indiferent de alegeri, toți vor avea parte garantată la guvernare. A și o chestie. De ce oare vor toți miniștri pe ministerele cu bani mulți care dispar, gen Sănătate, Transporturi, Dezvoltare?

Într-un fel, situația era coaptă în direcția asta, cu partid minoritar la guvernare de atâta timp. Toți am crezut că PSD le-a dat guvernarea la PNL așteptând să-și rupă gâtul ori să se uzeze de uzură normală accelerată ca în România, în final s-a produs o altă situație, PSD cerșește de la PNL puțină guvernare din timpul ce le-a mai rămas până la alegeri. Pentru că toată lumea s-a supărat nu știu de ce pe USR. Ca și cum ei ar fi ceva alieni, nu de-ai noștri. Cu ei PSD ar putea scăpa de PNL și talentele lor. Pentru a vota un guvern este necesară o majoritate de jumătate + 1, adică PSD (110) + USR (55) + un independent ceva.

Mai e și faptul că au fost prea multe numiri în timpul lui Iohannis, el nu mai are cum să apar și să spună "am decis să îl numesc prim ministru pe Ciucă" și au ales varianta asta. Oare de ce îl vor EI atât de mult pe Ciucă acum?

Singura chestie nașpa cu Ciucă este că noi, care am văzut cam orice, nu știm la ce (trucuri noi) să ne mai așteptăm, nu am văzut de mult generali prim miniștri.

Despre improvizațiile constituționale și mai ales neconstituționale necesare împlinirii acestui nou aspect al democrației originale post decembriste, am mai scris.

Mai este cineva ca mine care crede că numitul Iohannis și-a folosit toți așii, popii, damele, valeții, nebunii și pionii, toate viețile, ca să folosesc un limbaj de gamers, a pierdut și ar cam trebui să facă pasul cel mare înapoi.

A Theory on Time Travel (and Time Traps)

Question. Do humans time travel when they do actions that have no impact on the present and of which they will only benefit from in the future? During those actions, they actually live in the time frame those actions (will) have effect?

Let's say we have two objects, A and B with comparable masses and sizes, in an isolated system. Let's say object A is moving frictionless or with very little friction at a determined speed and direction. Then a human may intervene and place the object B in front of object A. There will be no more interactions between objects or human and objects until the time of collision, which will happen on a predetermined moment in the future. By placing, by an intelligent being, the object B in front of object A at a certain point on object's A trajectory, the path and trajectory of the object A will be changed in a predictable way, at a certain moment in the future, by an action done in the present or past with no further interactions in between those moments. More than that, at the time of collision, the path of object A it is altered by an action done in the past by the human (on object B).

O metodă de a lua de pe capul lui Iohannis dreptul și îndatorirea sa constituțională de numi premieri (după consultări cu partidele bineînțeles). Pentru că au fost prea mulți. 8. (Și totuși oficial tot el va face numirea. Pentru că nu există altă cale constituțională). O metodă de a minimiza până la bagatelizare orice răspundere a celor doi. O metodă de a-l aduce înapoi în discuții pe Ciucă, ca o stafie de  Halloween. Asta după ce Ciolacu însuși a spus acum trei zile că este exclus. La ce să ne mai așteptăm? Ostași, vă ordon...!?

De ce nu este constituțională numirea premierilor "prin rotație" care practic se realizează prin numirea la început a unui prim-ministru "la termen". Constituția spune că un prim ministru poate fi demis prin moțiune de cenzură (retragerea încrederii), anunțarea voluntară a demisiei (nu s-a mai întâmplat). Cum se va face schimbarea, practic? Primul din cei doi își anunță demisia în ziua în care este numit sau chiar dinainte? Parlamentul îi va retrage încrederea, la termen? Ambele cazuri par o bătaie de joc dpdv juridic, un afront (dispreț) la procesul constituțional de numire/demitere a primului ministru descris în Constituție. Articolul 106. Articolul 110.

Președintele, da. Conform Constituției, este ales la termen.

Un lucru e sigur. Legiuitorul, adică Iorgovan, poporul român (pe vremea aprobării Constituției referendumul era referendum, cu 50% electorat) nu s-au gândit la asemenea năstrușnicii.

9:30 Nașpa mi-a mai dat Attila încă o temă pentru acasă. O oră din viața mea. Am mai auzit asemenea tâmpenii și altă dată. Chiar acum câteva zile venise o tanti și spunea, cam neîntrebată, că anul acesta s-au strâns taxe "absolut" cu 40 miliarde mai mult ca anul trecut.

Bugetul e făcut din taxe (pe salarii, profit, TVA, etc.). Cele 40 miliarde reprezintă cam 10% din buget și era normal să se strângă mai mult fiindcă bugetul e mai mare anul acesta. Crește, ca orice. Nu există deci să nu fie bani.

Într-un timp chiar era o modă, un trend, un fashion. O dată, de două ori pe an. "Nu mai sunt bani pentru pensii". "Nu mai sunt bani pentru salarii profesori" etc., "guvernul trebuie să se împrumute", acum, iată, "se caută soluții juridice". În mărinimia lor, guvernanții vor găsi până la urmă bani, pe undeva, prin fondurile buzunarelor găurite. Nu fără emoții, care sunt tot fun-ul declanșat de această declarație a lui Attila.

Să încerc să explic. Juridic. Salariații Ministerului Sănătății sunt plătiți din Buget. Bugetul e stabilit prin lege, în fiecare an. Uitați-vă aici în pagina 12 a Bugetului Ministerului Sănătății, parte din Anexa 3 la legea din link-ul de mai sus. Cheltuieli de personal, 2.3 miliarde, din totalul de 19. Cseke se pare că are în gestiune două găuri negre, nu una! (Ministerul Dezvoltării, primul său interimat, Sănătății, al doilea).

Constituția spune clar. Nu se pot stabili cheltuieli în buget fără a se preciza sursa. Un buget care nu se închide (venituri egal cheltuieli) este deci neconstituțional. Ce e variabil la sfârșitul anului este deficitul. Diferența dintre venituri și cheltuieli. Bugetul deci se închide prin deficit. Deficitul este acoperit din împrumuturi. Nu pentru un minister, ci pe total. Totul este lege și contabilitate. Dar cui îi pasă, pe vremea aceea tot românul își taie porcul, bea vinul și e fericit. Dacia Felix, măcar o dată pe an!

Dar mai mult decât atât. Sunt ministere cu bugete uriașe (da, Bugetul se împarte, prin aceeași lege, pe ministere chiar de la începutul anului), ca de exemplu Ministerul Transporturilor, al Dezvoltării (unde ministru este același Attila, ai căror bani dispar pur și simplu, la fel ca partea care nu reprezintă cheltuieli personal de la Sănătate. Asta în timp ce pentru hrană, medicamente se cheltuiesc sume derizorii, de căteva milioane pe tot anul toate spitalele, câțiva bani pentru o masă adică. Nu mai vorbim de construirea de noi spitale, dotări, sau cel puțin obținerea autorizației SI (pentru Siguranța la Incendii) pentru orice spital din ogradă. "What can i get you, hunny" (honey, hon, hun)?

Încercarea lui Attila este una de tip clasic pentru artiști de genul lor. E vorba de vechiul truc de a acoperi o mârlănie cu altă mârlănie ("că oricum nu se prinde nimeni", lumea e prea îngrijorată de faptul că nu sunt bani la Sănătate, acum în pandemie ca să mai și verifice, și oricum nu se pricepe nimeni în afară de cei care contează). Double or nothing. Am venit și am spus că banii dispar de la Ministerul Transporturilor, Dezvolării, tot el vine și spune că nu sunt bani la Sănătate, unde tot domnia sa este interimar. Oare până când? A, ok. Un guvern demis nu poate fi demis încă o dată. Și nu dispare.

7:40 Last Thursday the didn't pick the garbage from the closest bin. Every day i find a number of. Half empty beer cans. Empty soda cans. Empty water bottles. Half empty juice bottles. All cans and bottles share a strange feature. The're directed either away or towards the door or apartment if farther away. Many other pieces of garbages and debris that i have to pick twice daily. Bottles and garbage on the redwood mulch start a mold smell that propagates inside. Also it smells like dog poo, but it's probably under leaves.

Yesterday i spent 2-3 hours outside next to car, and i slept so much better. However. I was flooded with laundry vapor from very perfumed but not very clean laundry from Apt 2 and 4. Possibly laundry coming from a dog. Now i'm very sick, i smell like do poo. Took Zyrtec, had some coffee, finally took some charcoal.

Faptul că nu avem prim ministru din 5 octombrie și Parlamentul a refuzat deja două propuneri, ambele făcute de Iohannis la mișto, sau ce spun ei acum, prim ministru prin rotație. O asemenea tâmpenie nu s-a mai auzit de la Triumviratul din Benin, care s-a terminat printr-o lovitură de stat în 1991. Nu se poate, nu e constituțional. Eu credeam că ei glumesc dar azi văd că gluma totuși persistă.

Singurul mod în care s-ar putea realiza ar fi prin înțelegere. Iohannis mai întâi numește un prim ministru, Parlamentul îl aprobă iar după un timp pre-stabilit, Iohannis numește alt prim-ministru, etc. dar s-ar putea ca după timpul respectiv oamenii, parlamentarii, să se răzgândească. Un aspect pozitiv totuși. S-ar evita continuitatea numărătorii primilor miniștri iohannieni, care au fost nu mai puțini de 8.8:10/6:10 România putea avea 400 km de autostradă construiți numai în anul care a trecut cu banii cheltuiți la Ministerul Transporturilor care la sfârșitul anului vor însuma 32 de miliarde lei, bani pe care îi vedeți defilând în partea din stânga sus a blogului meu.

Am răsfoit puțin Constituția, nu se spune nicăieri cât timp poate rămâne în funcție ca interimar un prim-ministru care a fost demis (prin moțiune de cenzură, pe 5 octombrie). În mod paradoxal, un prim-ministru interimar nu mai poate fi demis sau schimbat decât dacă în Parlament este votat un alt guvern. Deci poate face cam ce vrea (și cine știe ce mai fac ei noaptea sau când nu se uită nimeni). E ceva acolo care spune că dacă Președintele face două propuneri care nu trec de Parlament în 60 de zile de la prima propunere, Președintele poate să dizolve Parlamentul. Însă acesta e ultimul lucru pe care l-ar face Iohannis, fiindcă PNL normal fiind la guvernare, după regula binecunoscută, e în scădere pe sondaje. Deci Cîțu va fi acolo să pregătească noul Buget, noua Lege a Plafoanelor cu mărimea Bugetului, cu Programul de Guvernare. Și bineînțeles va uita, ca noi toți să-i cerem, să dea o dare de seamă la sfârșitul anului, despre cum s-a cheltuit bugetul de 400 miliarde pe 2021.

Size Matters

Do you think the cells of an elephant would be larger than the cells of a rat? Do you think the cisternae of an Endothelial Type II cell are bigger than those of a white blood cell?

One would think internet should be full with Electron Microscope (EM) images of COVID inside a human cell. Just several, inconclusive. I fail to see in this image the bronchitis coronavirus virions forming inside of a cisterna. Even the (sub)title of the image says: "assembling in a Golgi region"

Spent most of the morning searching for things like what type of human cells are attacked first by COVID and how COVID multiplies after taking over those cells. However i could not find EM images with those cells. All i could find was this. Here, an Endothelial Type II cell is shown sitting at the bottom (top in image) of an alveolar sack and its internal structure which includes a Golgi apparatus.

It is within this type of cell the exchange of gases between air and blood occur. Oxygen passes from air to blood and CO2 back in the air.

Current theories say COVID is packed (assembled) inside of organelles of human cells known as Golgi apparatus, more precisely in a structure of this organelle called cisterna. Prior entering the cisternae, in the intermediate endothelian reticulum or ER, ribosomes, enzyme like structures made of two proteins which normally produce proteins, one of the main functions of most cells, provides proteins for the viruses. Normally specific parts of RNA (which is the same for every cell of our body) from cell's nucleus is used by ribosomes as a blue print for cell specific proteins, then proteins made by ribosomes are evacuated when vesicles form at the end of Golgi apparatus cisternae and those vesicles are transported at the surface of the cell and evacuated in the intracellular space to do whatever.

Same theories say that in case of infection with COVID these normal functions of the ER and Golgi apparatus are hijacked to produce not only the spike protein for the virus but the whole thing, that is envelope, membrane, M and S proteins. Viruses packed inside the complex are wrapped in vesicles then evacuated delivered to the surface of the cell through the same mechanism.

While i understand that viral RNA can be used instead of nucleus RNA in ribosomes to produce proteins (though i believe each type of cell has its own unique type of ribosome, which can have a limited "range" or what type of proteins can produce), i fail to understand how the Golgi apparatus and ER functions are changed (by the virus) to also produce membranes and envelopes.

I could not find an electron microscope image of the Golgi apparatus with cisternae for an Endotelial Type II cell, all i could find was one for white cells. The scale bar show that the thickness of cisternae and vesicles are smaller than 100 nm, the average size of a coronavirus, and that without the spike protein.


Ok it wouldn't be fair if i didn't put here what i found later. Vero is a type of "standard" lab grown cell coming from a single lineage descending from the liver cells of a specific monkey. Shown is a herpes virion building up at the end of a much smaller cisterna inside a vero cell. Looking at the image makes me think the cisterna receives the virion RNA from nucleus and provides the membrane, envelope, the M, S and spike protein, like it actually had this functionality and viruses could actually play an evolutionary role. But then in the explanation i see the word "budding" (c). Then i see several virions inside a single vacuole ready to be lifted at the surface of the cell.

From now on it becomes confusing, cause if you asked google, it says viruses are assembled inside golgi, if you follow this article, it's a different story. In both cases it seems obvious to me that the virus does not contain enough information to "hijack" or "reprogram" the cell into doing all this, but the cells are already adapted to do this since billion years ago to do it, like it had this functionality and viruses could play key roles in evolutionary process. Lipid membrane, envelope is provided by the ER and golgi, which pre-exists in host's cells.

One thing to mention here. When i was thinking that the cell itself could actually have this functionality and especially when i used the word "evolutionary", the man upstairs started to yell as much as one could yell obscenities in Spanish or Portuguese. Can not say i actually got scared and stopped reading and following ideas especially because apartment is filled with smoke from the walls. Got to finish or even re-write this post later. I would imagine the catholic point of view on this. God could not have created a human being (in its own resemblance) that produces viruses to infect others. Then i remembered the logo of the management firm of the apartment complex, and its resemblance to Dominican Province of the Philippines logo.

Again because of the search results i made while writing this blog post (don't have time to write a pre-version first, than read it and re-write it if necessary), the whole idea behind this post which i started thinking the cisternae of the golgi aparatus are too small for the COVID virus, has changed and it would be necesary to re-write it. But then again it took me half day to search and write. It seems there are contradicting theories about how a virus is formed inside a cell. It seems the existing theories contradict selves. It seems there is very little "fundamental" research behind how viruses are formed, etc.. All together is too much for me and the scope of a blog post.

Ninja (Noongari) smoke

Woke up with a congested nose and after a while the place filled more with smoke. I went outside and again found some tiny one inch tall volcanoes under the siding. After i flattened those, tried to air the room but i think dirty socks smell comes from the wind's direction. After about ten minutes, smoke (different, probably kratom) is again filling the room. Going to the park. Hospital alleys. Whatever.

Everybody living in a house in the US has at least on bathroom fan. Ever wondered where the air sucked from the bathroom goes? Behind the fan, inside the ceiling (upstairs floor) there is a 3 or 4 inch flexible pipe or hose (flexible during installation, actually it never moves, for decades after) that goes through an (empty) wall all the way to the top of the roof. Made of a thin aluminum foil, with a coiled wire to make the shape, or something similar. It is not one piece from bathroom to roof. Pieces are joined with duct tape. Tape in time becomes hard and sometimes most of the times the pipe will leak at joints, inside walls. More or less. In time it also builds inside about half inch of dust on the thin foil. That may backflow in your bathroom, depending. Vibration, air flow. Airflow leaking from other pipes from other apartments, building pressure inside walls and inside your pipe. And had lots of that. Until:

I put on top of the regular bathroom fan a tiny computer fan that works continuously at lower than normal voltage (about 6 volts instead of 12) and ensures at least it does not backflow as it did. When the big fan starts, air flows through the small one, accelerating it. When it doesn't the small fan pushes constantly a small amount of air. But even if it didn't, due to regular thermal flow (warmer air goes up), some air will bypass the one way valve in the fan's box and flow upwards.

During drying. Vast amounts of air are being sucked from inside the room and pumped outside. Regular houses have driers installed in garages or other special rooms. But if it's not the garages, will suck air from where inside the house.

Believe it or not. Main fresh air supply inside a house comes from under main or back or garage door, washing the sills of those doors, one of the dirties places inside a home.

But there is another source. Walls are not sealed in most American houses. There is a big half inch gap between the "drywall" and the floor, other gaps and cracks, around windows, appliances, cabinets, etc..

Air goes in and out the wall depending. Some air from outside will bypass the siding (especially at bottom or where the siding starts) and cracks inside the walls.

And here comes the diagram of thermal air flow around a house. Cold weather here includes during night, evening and mornings, where house walls temperature is higher than outside air. All passive, high science, low teck, ancient knowledge.It's all self explanatory. If you stick (during let's say a casual dog walking) something burning inside the ground close enough to the building (most of the "recipes" in Basenshukai, or the book of  ninja, contain saltpeter, that has oxygen in the formula, other oxygen locking chemicals, saltpeter was not available in Japan when the book was written, and burns underground) the smoke, due to the pressure created by the laminar thermal flow will bypass the siding and the walls and get inside. Most of it will not get inside, but flow upwards around  the building and up in the sky and will not be perceived by bypassers. Since build up of concentration inside is gradual, the occupants will get used and after a while will start to change mood, feel happy, worry free, forget things, take weird decisions, etc..

And if you open the main door, smoke will come out, exactly like if the occupants themselves where using it, for all bypassers to smell. You will have it in you system, clothes, etc..

I apologize if the post is not 100 well formulated and concise, i am under influence, big time this morning, cause they are behind and getting really mad as more of their secrets (and deeds) are being revealed, everyday and pushing it big time on me.

Had plans for this morning, wanted to order online OEM axles for the car, can't do anything, can't concentrate, afraid not to order the wrong ones.

The New Car Story

It looks like i got no other choice but write the car story. In the first day or 10/13 when i went to see the car, i tried to drive it @ to see if there's anything wrong with it on a total distance of maybe a quart of a mile. There was a splash guard touching the tire on the front left side, or where the wheel has been hit. There was a clunking sound on the right side. I briefly put the car on a jack with the help of the guy in the body shop who gave me tools and i looked and saw the right CV shaft (passenger, longer) was bent, in the rush of events at first i thought it was just wobbling (knew it was not hit on that side in the recent accident) from articulations when turning the hub by hand, only realized it was bent weeks after or on 11-08, when i also realized there is nothing on my car that could have caused those abrasions.

Went the next morning at AutoZone on Dartmouth St and picked one for 150. It seemed a good deal, but when i put it on i saw it was 30% thinner then OEM one. One of the consequences of being thin is it twists maybe half turn when i put the car in drive or rear. Also when i drove it a few days ago on I5 to Wilsonville to test the mpg, i heard a vibration. I raised the car on the jack and saw the newly installed Autozone shaft got a big play at both ends. First i tried to order a used one at B&R for 65 bucks and Wednesday i went to North Portland to pick it, but was damaged and rusted and refused it and asked for a refund. In the same day i ordered another one at Autozone, similar with the one that's on on the right, just to measure it. With a cheap caliper, by comparison only, it seemed smaller than my bent OEM (they probably use looser tolerances than OE manufacturer), both the outer diameter in the splines area and distance between 5 teeth. I measured it like 20 times just to make sure and returned it though there was this annoying music in the store, people talking aloud, overwhelmingly overly polite, etc.. Now i'm trying really hard to find both shaft online as OEM parts. I found them on a site for 250 each but now i sit and wonder if the site is legit (here at dealerships is between 380 and 400 a piece, it is true, on the same site the Korean built ones are 330+shipping, my car is US built). On driver side again there is a badly rusted one which could not have been only 4 years old with no other rusted parts on the vehicle. Now i remembered i asked the guy at the store (who is not a mechanic but did some struts replacement in the past why the shock absorber is not in the middle of the spring, he said because the car is on a jack and spring is extended all the way, can't wait to go and take a picture now that the car is on wheels.

Never touched the left shorter rusted axle.

It is for the first time that i realize that the strut is also bend towards the end.

By comparison with the one on the passanger side, with the much thinner (Autozone) shaft which is still on the car, is seems this one is bent

Today i got called again by the guy at B&R (the same voice as the 855 number) and he told me the part (again right shaft, OEM, used) is waiting for me in North Portland, i told him i went there two days ago and refused it, again for being rusted and one of the boots popped in and making a sound when rotating that end.

Got the number for B&R from a guy from Hillsboro Auto Wrecking. I went there for a hub (at the time i believed the noise coming from the front wheels is from a bearing). The bearings had too much of a play and the hub was rusted so i just drove back there and returned it. In that day i drove more than 100 miles for that hub.

11:00 13 On November 4 in the evening i went to pick the car. Drove it here, took Angela with me (both had very little sleep the night before), drove back over there to pick the truck. Both in the car, we agreed that there was a weird smell. We stopped at an Autozone store and bought an engine air filter and a cabin air filter. I replaced the engine air filter in the parking lot, but when i tried to pull the cabin air filter (the one on top of the fan), a couple of pounds or more of rancid dog food came with the filter, some falling on the car's floor, most in the fan. So we went to a carwash (a mile away next to O'Reillys), tried to vacuum but the hose would not go in the place where filter was. Finally vacuumed enough of those for the fan to work. Went to pick the truck, Angela drove the car home. Next morning, after i wrote about the whole story i went to Lowes to pick a dishwasher drain hose to adapt to the vacuum cleaner. I dropped the blower fan and with one more shorter flexible hose on top of that, i went and picked the remaining pellets from the heater core housing.

The only way that dog food could have gotten in there was by removing the grill (between hood and windshield) from outside. I felt that smell in the first day i went to see the car or when i discovered the CV shaft on right side was bent. While i was vacuuming, the guy upstairs came and parked in his spot next to me. It was then when i asked him if he ever cleaned the filter of his drier and he seemed puzzled. I explained to him how to do it. After that he stopped using the drier altogether but he started again and i looked and the flow of the steam from the vent is very low and he just restarted drying the same load.

Din reacțiile care le-am văzut în media, am impresia că românii pur și simplu nu înțeleg sau ignoră că ce primesc ei "bani în mână" este aproximativ egal cu  jumătate din ce plătește patronul (sau statul în cazul bugetarilor), restul (virat de angajator prin bancă) se duce la CAS ca și contribuție pentru pensie și la Bugetul de Stat ca impozit pe salariu. O simplă analiză contabilă a bugetului arată însă că cea mai mare parte din aceste sume imense dispar.

Sume ce ar ajunge din plin la toate proiectele de infrastructură, dublarea alocațiilor, indexarea pensiilor cu inflația, etc..

Bugetul (sau mai bine zis încheierea lui la sfârșitul anului) fiind falsificat sau mai bine zis, "uitat în vâltoarea evenimentelor" (veșnica criză guvernamentală, politică), diferențele pleacă pur și simplu din România.

Schimbă guvernele în fiecare an.

Multe și nenumărate (deși numărabile) sunt tacticile care duc la distragerea atenției dvs. de la furăciunea imensă care se petrece prin buget. Deși mereu aceleași trucuri, au suficient de multe ca să le rotească în așa fel încât lumea uită de ele când o iau de la început. Anul trece, bugetul se încheie, grija e că nu avem guvern, cu sau fără guvern nu dă nimeni seama de sumele imense de zeci de miliarde de euro, sau sute de miliarde de lei anual însumate de la unele ministere, ca de exemplu Transporturi, Dezvoltare, altele, cheltuite pe nimic, sume astronomice care de fapt sunt deturnate prin bănci în alte țări.

What's good about antihistamines is they do not interfere further with your brain chemicals. They kill and suppress  the parasite in your system and after all the high you suddenly crash and are very tired.

Also there are many foods, medications and supplements that lower the levels of active T gondii in your system, like grapefruit juice, almond, peanuts and generally nuts, valerian, etc.. Generally whatever gets you low and tired.

 3:04 Yesterday i found out that the damage done to my car after i bought it at IAA (Insurance  Auto Auction) by manipulation with forklift (there is no other way to bend the drive axle like that) extends to the bearing of the wheel (there is a loud increasing humming noise on the right side of the car when i drive on a good "quiet" road). This morning i decided i should sue in small claims IAA for damaging the car, also for not listing the biohazard on the page of the auction, that was the smell and the rancid dog food i discovered in the HVAC system of the car. So i went and reactivated my account for e-filing with the Oregon Judicial Department (i once wanted to sue Copart for a similar reason). However, to my surprise, i discovered that in Oregon i cannot e-file in small claims for property damage, there are only two limited sub case types on the list. So i got to go the old fashion way, drive 40 miles to Salem to file the claim.

6:09 Just heard a loud exhaust, and now i feel smoke smell. 6:17 Went outside and found disturbances in the ground, small volcano like mounds under deck, siding, next to hydrant, all the known places. Stepped on those. Because of the one under siding, smoke makes its way in the walls and when i got back there was perceptable amount of smoke inside. I think the exhaust vibrates the walls and make it come inside much faster. But again i'm not sure it's smoke, could be mold or other smells from mole tunnels. Like the enzyme from venemous mole salyva that makes you dizzy.

4:47 Yesterday afternoon i picked the car, brought it here, picked Angela, we both had 4 hours of sleep, however had to go back to pick the truck. I knew the car was smelling, first i tried the "chlorine shocker" which means a ball of 6% chlorine bleach in the car with doors and windows shut. At first it worked then when i started the fan, smell came back strong. At about 8 PM when we got near the shop where i left the truck, i went to an Autozone to buy air filters both for the engine and the cabin. But when i tried to pull the old cabin filter, surprise. It won't come out. Not easily. So i pulled hard and it unfolded like an accordion's bellows, and about 2 pounds of rancid dog or cat food fell from that compartment. Trouble was some fell onto the fan, the filter was holding them above and now we could not drive because the fan was blocked and it was raining and windshield was foggy. So i guess drived being dead tired with a foggy windshield about one mile to a carwash and was lucky to find a card operated vacuum. But could only remove the bulk of them cause the hose's end was too big for that space. I went to the O'Reilly's accross the street but could not find a piece of 5/8 hose to tape it to that one. The fan was now making a rattling noise, with loose pieces of dry food caught in the rotor. Today i tried with my vacuum and and a thinner extension hose and removed more but there are more left. Unfortunately some passed the fan and got into the heater core and i have no idea how to remove them except to pay hundreds of dollars to a mechanic to do it, so the car will probably stink like that for a long time. But not as much as it did when i got it and Angela says was nauseated by the smell. I bet it's got something to do with the accident. But how those got there? A prank to the previous owner? An underpaid mechanic? Cause it's not easy to stock them on top of the filter unless you raise a bit the intake grill.

I saw many things in my life, but this.

But that's not all. Somehow the stuff being right under the grill did backflow into the engine compartment and every component was covered with a fine layer of it. My first guess was, the owner being from Eugene area, he used the car at a farm and drove it through mud mixed with manure. Last night i was driving on the freeway behind Angela and i could still feel the smell coming from that car.

Found a video on how to remove the blower fan. Tomorrow cause i'm too... tired right now. The man didn't know at first so he removed too many parts. He had mouse droppings and acorns. BTW, can't understand how acorns got in there, the holes in the grill are only a few mm. Ok he said mice were living there. Please note the coincidence with the post below.

Never realized until now that the drive axle i replaced was actually bent.

12:19 The man upstairs came home after a week or so, started a load of laundry at midnight and the TV. Could it be because today i said it was better when he was here, with not so much smell? Now i regret i said it. Also smoke comes in here, smaller amounts that other time, after i did something to tie up the two sliding doors together, preventing them from oscillating.

This reminds me of a woman who lived upstairs, a few years ago and was coming here only to do laundry.

I got two hypothesis for the guy upstairs, lately i found the face of a Japanese guy which resembles his, was searching for the name in my downloads directory, ran into another guy who reminds me of the guy is once saw next door, but some time ago. Nowadays i saw a younger guy.

Ok the smoke that came in starting about 15 minutes ago leaves a bitter taste in my mouth.

12:59 I went and checked.  Smoke was coming from two mole galeries systems, one near hydrant, one on the back. They stick in the ground burning pellets based on saltpeter, that burns underground.

6:21 A pet farm? just checked the flow of that fan, it blows outwards. Since i complained so much about them leaving poos around here, now they do the equivalent with that fan. Don't know what's behind that cardboard, sitting there in the dark but in our apartment now smells like a stable. And i washed the carpet twice this year, last time water came almost clean.

5:31 Fan is still on in the morning, again at 48 degrees (8 Celsius). I noticed it is directed downwards, or towards the floors, where the gaps are, so the pressure may enter walls. Got stomach pain, nausea because of dust and poo smell.
