Let me explain. My unique recent experience with restarting using a deodorant after almost 20 years (rose, aluminum free) taught me something i would like to share.
Deodorant has perfumes that alter all the smells around you. You quit smelling reality. Most times you only smell your own deodorant, especially when you work and heat up. Smells may sneak upon you and make you sick without knowing.
Then when you stop it all becomes overwhelming. Besides the smells around you, your get to get acquainted with your own, i wish i could say natural smell which is again more obvious than the rest, the source being inches away, though you may not realize it.
Cause when you live with pets or stray pets in or around houses made of sulfur, surrounded by dumpsters where unruly people throw open bags with garbage that rot especially in summer for up to a week and live poops on the ground your smell is not your natural smell. It is something that nauseates you.
I was nauseated for years before this and never knew the cause.
But tonight even with shower and deodorant, i felt there was something wrong and went outside and found one from a cat, well fed, healthy, probably not stray (by the shape of it) under the stairs. It is 30 degrees (-1 C) outside, everything should be frozen but that area is protected by the wall and receives some radiating heat from the building. The dust was dry again and inviting.
