8:20 PM I believe keeping of the Latino immigrants in limbo has a very practical reason. Not having a legal status they are paid way less than people with right to work. And the laws that keep them that way are made by corporatist (lobbyists).

The damage is enormous. They burden the tax payers since they use roads, school system, legal system, sometimes health system, certainly welfare sysem. The local and federal budget is hurt.

That's why last night i came with this idea. If you don't want to legalize them, tax them. Or tax the firms who hires them.

Are you saying you could not because that would mean to expose the status quo? If you make a law like this you recognize it? Then legalize them.

The increase in contributions would surpass Trump's idiotic tariffs. They will be identifiable by local and federal governments.

Some say more will come. This is a joke. They could enforce the border. If that is not possible, they will come anyways.

Some say (me) among them hide a sizeable number of disguised hikikomori from Japan (probably in the millions).
