1:35 AM I wish i figured this one out by myself, because i made lots of correlations of earthquakes with Moon orbit, distance, whatever.

But i least i can say why is happening. There are a number of factors  that combine and result in highest tides, tide being a measure of total gravitational pull of Sun and Moon combined.

Factors

Earth - Moon distance. It varies by about 10% with a period of about 100 days. But i did not realize until today there was such a cyclicity. During the current year, shortest distance is around equinoxes.

Sun Moon alignment. Moon orbit plane is different than ecliptic plane. Sun eclipses cannot occur during certain periods of the year when Moon is not aligned well with the Sun when in conjunction.

So when a Sun Moon alignment will occur around equinoxes with shortest Moon distance you will have the perfect storm.

But of course there have to be conditions for that to happen. Most shallow earthquakes happen because of explosive boiling of pressurized hot thermal water in vast closed underground pockets (may call them lakes if you prefer) triggered by gravity forces so the water has to be at the right pressure and temperature for that to happen.

It is in a way similar to when you heat water in the microwave at boiling point, it stops boiling when you pull it and boils again due to change of pressure when you put the cup on a table which creates a small shockwave in the water and initiates boiling.

The volume of crust above the water pocked is raised by the combined gravity action of Sun and Moon, decreasing the pressure in the pocket.

Fast changing atmospheric pressure. It can contribute to variation of pressure inside the deep pockets in the ground.

However, there could be extra man made factors. Like synchronized heavy machinery that make the ground oscillates at that seismic area resonance (each have a different one). Traffic going at the right speed during rush hour, etc..

According to Stellarium, during the devastating earthquake of March 4 1977 in Romania, Moon was at a distance of 371000 km, three days away from the minimum of 366000 on 7, full, thus aligned with the Sun though on the other side of the Earth, closest such alignment before equinox, pulling the Earth and elongating it from the other direction of the Sun.

At 85 km it was a deep earthquake,  which is usually done by an explosive phase changing with (changing the volume) in a pocket of magma. 

5:18 PM A few days ago i upgraded my catch can with an aluminum tube to prevent spitting oil in the out port and a lid made of inox (for spice containers) with an o ring around it (green, oil resistant), creating a new compartment in it, to catch the oil and keep it from splashing. I drilled 4x2 mm holes in the lid so the emulsion can get in there with car's movement and it cannot get back out, even if you overturn it when the car doesn't move.

Today i added the last thing and i think i'm done with it. An easy empty plug. I think it needs to be emptied every fill-up. I will call it Catch Can V 8.00 and hopefully the last.

This device improves the MPG, power by up to 10%, vibrations, steering. BTW anybody can tell me how many patents i got in here (including corrugated inox condenser done previously). We have a saying in Romania. "Să fie primit!" (May God appreciate it).

And yes, this is where the oil "evaporates" from you engine. Actually it does not. It goes through you PCV in the intake, contaminating the valves, spark plugs, spark plug threads, burning in the combustion chamber, catalytic, etc.. Catch cans can prevent all that.

9:08 About 10 days ago i ordered a Winix filter from AliExpress. It is the first time i done so because it was discontinued on Amazon. Now it's back there however is 30% more expensive than on AliExpress.

But it never came. After it was out for delivery on 30, when i was home all day, they said i wasn't. I don't know if they required a signature for delivery. I did not find anything at the door or in the office. Then by following the FedEx tracking number 272494487815, they said it was delivered on... April 1st, within the only time frame i was out, for a walk. No more emails from them or AliExpress. Worst (failed) delivery i ever experienced.

FedEx site is abysmal. Cannot download proof of delivery without sender's code account number which i don't know. I think i clicked somewhere on a box next to where it said item missing or not delivered and nothing happened.

Whatever. Worst case. Will dispute the charge with the bank.

This morning i saw this news and remembered what else i saw on AliExpress. One of the items was this. Free delivery in June. It is so tempting i thought of buying one myself. It beats the hell out of living in an RV or mobile home.

Then i searched for American sites and there are some that sell similar stuff. 600 sqft, the size of our apartment. With the right type of insulation, which is a sandwich of Styrofoam and aluminum foil you can buy at Home Depot, way better than volcanic rockwool and s...t that BTW is really really bad for your health and solar panels on top which now are subventioned by states, it can rival with a real home but at a (tiny) fraction of the cost.

Off grid, eco, high tech, you can install it in a desert provided you are close enough to a place where you can buy water and a 4 or 5G tower for internet. Or in a place near the ocean.

You could use tanks for shower and toilet like people living in RVs and empty those every week or so or maybe even a smaller septic tank. You could probably install it on a concrete foundation but some are on pillars. Could collect rain water from the roof for laundry and dry... in the backyard.

In other words, a real home for under 10k, provided you can find a piece of land. 0.1 acres is 4300 sqft. In a country where there is so much unused land.

But it is non only the people living in RVs and cars could benefit from this. It could be like a safety net for those who live in terror of losing their job and not being able to pay their mortgages.

I was even thinking. The government could give free grants to everybody interested. Newlyweds, whatever. Half acre of land and 10k to buy one of these and end this terrible, degrading homeless crisis. 10 homes for the price of one shell they send to Ukraine.

7:35 Yeah i guess it was google's way to celebrate April 1st. They changed something in google searches that my blogs was heavily relying on. I tried to fix it manually in similarities post by post and went all the way to the beginning of February but then i told myself i should be smart and do it on more rational basis.

Thinking of all the links affected by google's change (thousands) that won't work anymore in my main blog (friends) that i will never be able to fix. But who's gonna read the old posts.

So i downloaded the similarities blog, edited it in Notepad with search/replace all, and imported it back.

It is where the surprises started. Blogger (google's free blogging platform i use) imported all modified posts and kept the old ones. I duplicated all the posts. Did it one more time. Then i tried to delete them all and import again. However it didn't work.

Then i tried to create a new blog by importing the theme which i also saved and then importing the modified posts. That didn't work either. Then google told me i exceeded the number of imports for the new blog, "try again later".

Then i tried to restore the blog by importing the unmodified version (first, before editing which i kept just in case) and that didn't work either.

Then i restored my deleted old blog (had the option for 90 days) and started to manually delete the duplicates, one by one, trying to keep the newly modified ones with search/replace. However the addresses of the duplicates are not the same anymore so all links in my other blogs won't work anymore if i go with those.

I have two options. Either to manually delete the duplicates and triplicates (a few thousands posts) and keep the old ones with the addresses and then go and manually do the necessary changes according to google's modifications to search on images, or keep the duplicates which have been modified (but not all work, some needing more manual adjustments).

But for now i will keep everything, the first 100 or so manually modified, with the old addresses, the duplicates and triplicates and go and try to get more sleep cause they started to make noise right after Angela left so i could sleep no more after that.

I think i'm up to go and modify manually all the posts (as i said, a few thousands) and then manually delete the duplicates and triplicates during my free time.

But for now the impact on the reader of all this roller coaster is minimal and most important i did not loose any content.

Gândiți-vă câtă pierdere de timp și energie pentru poștași, cu încălzirea planetei, ca să meargă în fiecare lună acasă la pensionar, să se așeze și să numere banii. Da bine cu opțiunea ca la acei care nu vor să meargă să rămână pe sistemul vechi cu poștașul.

I would go and search for her right away if i knew her age. Amazing how for second rank politicians, such as sheriffs, local chiefs of police, ambassadors etc. it is nearly impossible to figure their age, even though they have Wikipedia pages like this Julianne... Smith. Shadow Government?

Knowing the age limits the search to an area of about 5 years in the lists. Very few are outside this magic interval.

8:23 On April 1st google made a modification in the way search on images are being addressed. As a result, clicking on any image in my Similarities blog won't lead to the site where the image was taken from anymore.

I know a couple of ways to do this. One is a tool provided by some guy however i have to give it complete access to manage my blog. The second is saving, editing and then restoring the whole blog, it would appear as it was created today. I will try and do manually a number of posts until i think of how to fix them in bulk.
