Endless Hole With Smoke

For a week now i'm re-caulking a ~5-10 mm 1/2" thick 6-12" long space between the bathroom wall and floor next to the bedroom using GE Silicone II of about $6.50 a tube. One day a redo a portion the next day it hardens just fine and 2 days later becomes soft like the 1.25 dollar cheap one made of milled limestone and an adhesive. Two days ago i completely removed all the material and put a new one. Yesterday it was hard and completed today now is just disintegrating. But every time i touch the stuff that's already in the wall the rest of the day my hands become stingy and skin slightly paralyzed all over after taking a shower. I just went to Lowes and gave the tall blond guy who says he's one of the managers a tiny sample in a plastic bag and asked him to send it to the manufacturer. But he didn't even ask what brand i bought, he showed total lack of interest. Last time i bought two tubes i discovered at the check-stand that one of the tubes was cracked and took it back. Then another manager of the store, an older guy to whom i gave the cracked tube told me the expiration month on the tube was September 2012. (There was this Lowes bearded guy standing behind me so close i felt uncomfortable and couldn't talk more with the manager. I remember that the bearded guy one recent time i went there he was standing there band with his  but right in front next to the paint department. That made uncomfortable as well.) Then they opened a new box with the expiration date 04/13.

Before caulking i discovered the corner with the missing wallpaper was cracked to pieces, i had to pour gypsum and redo the corner, using some transparent plastic molds, but you cannot pour gypsum all over you have to keep the edges clear of touching anything because if it touches the floor or a beam it's gone crack later due to vibration.

I did the whole thing because of the unidentified smoke coming out of it, i remember the first day i did the gypsum my face was stingy because of the smoke. The cracked parts of drywall i took out of there were brown inside because of the years of smoke. The rest if it probably still is. The apartment below is vacant for more than one year, i don't know exactly where the smoke is coming from. After i re-caulk there is no smoke for one day or so then it becomes soft in different areas not all of it and tiny holes appear together with the smoke.

McNeeley Real Estate

Name says a lot. For many years i used to believe it has something to do with kneels. Makes you kneel that is. I know one guy there. Mark Hessel. And there was another woman i spoke with in the agency, short, fat, looking Japanese.

In January 2010 we've been kicked from Sussex. There was a guy there Kaleb whom i knew only by seeing him and seeing his name on the mailbox.

At Sussex there was an episode that just came to mind. The 2002 Seattle earthquake. There was a handyman scheduled exactly at that time in the apartment. He went outside to pick something from his Volvo, i went to the door to see what he's doing. Then the earthquake started, a series of ample movement, i stood in the door frame when i heard somebody running on the roof. I looked at the handyman while he was staring the roof.

There was a broken pipe in the wall in there that got never fixed. Every time i was opening the water at the bathroom sink, a pipe was moving in the wall. Probably leaking in the wall and making mold.

While i was there at first i was not aware of the mineral insulation problem. After, or when when i realized the attic was full with loose mineral insulation, i taped the lid to the attic so it won't fall down at least through there.

There was this guy with a red Toyota Supra i guess who looked like a South American drug dealer who was showing from time to time, pretending living there. La Tuta i guess.

Christine McVie, Carole King acting like managers. John Winquist, owner of Regent, the management company i think is a now Hungarian top politician.

Across the street, BNC. A church that looks like an UFO.

And Tom Cruise, the mechanic.

That's all about Sussex, here and now.

So we've been looking for a place to move. Actually applied in two different places. One Saturday in February they called us from Sunflower Apts, i believe we were approved there too but for some reason i can't explain right now none of us wanted to answer the phone. Monday (hopefully i will come with the date, it think it was February 2010) i had appointment with Mark from McNeeley, i went at the apartment in Lake Oswego and signed the papers. As we climbed in the truck to go in Lake Oswego they called us again from Sunflower and told us we were approved but i already made my mind. I was moving to Lake Oswego. Rent was about similar but location, one of the best in Portland area. Not knowing it was actually on the top of an extinct volcano.

Don't know what was wrong with me in that day. I didn't feel the terrible stink in there. Maybe because window was open. Maybe i was hypnotized (to us, Mark appeared like he had severe strabismus (not seen in the picture above). All i saw was the view, the pool (which Mark told us wasn't "ours", the apartment was the only one rented in the building, the others were individually owned condos). The place was a dump. I will select some pictures. The pan of the fridge filled with some sort of glue that resulted from combination of asphalt and silica from roof shingles. Hardwood floor was stinking so bad from being contaminated with that stuff and food that i had to cover it with shelf liners.

The rusty, leaking toilet, discoloration of the vynil.

Everything was leaking under the kitchen sink

And the endless hole.

There are many other things to be said about that place before i start getting to the reason for this post. But before, a word about Apt.9 or next door. There were a couple of celebrities that were showing as Anna, the young single neighbor. One of them was Kelly Clarkson.

And the guy at Apt.2 (two levels down) who looked like Jinichi Kawakami posing for a young single guy who was never cleaning and smoking the stinkiest cigarettes (natural tobaco, not treated for burning faster like most brands). There i found out for the first time of the existence of ninja dojos in the US.

The woman who lived at nr.6 (right under) left after one week (came back at times). I forgot where she said she was moving. The apartment was vacated for a long time, more that a year. Then the short old man with the green van moved in. He lived there for about 6 months. On June 6 2011 i took this picture.
And this one on July 2nd the same year.

I think he left in September that year. That was after they poured asphalt on street. Because the day after he dragged me into a short conversation.

What was about him. As you can see from the first picture he was handling some high tech tools. Sometimes at night i head what i though him was chiseling, maybe the walls.

After him i remember Christina Minnis moving in there. Found the name on a site that gives you names of neighbors and googled and found this.

She was wanted in Texas for some minor offenses and she found shelter here. However, she was living in that dump with a guy (i forgot his name now), black, who was working for a British company, somewhere in Downtown Portland.

She found a job here in Portland at David Killer Bread. I remember the day when Dave Dahl, the owner, was arrested. A few days later they started the bathroom fan downstairs and was on until December 2014.

They had a dog probably she dog, probably sick cause it was actually crying every they after they left in the morning.

Story is much longer. To make it short, today i figured the purpose for that fan to be on for so long was to pump in the floor (or their ceiling) and into our apartment the same stuff they pump in here for more than a year now or since i heard upstairs the same chiseling sound, December 2019 and then i heard the dog making the same crying sound as the one down stairs more than 6 years ago. That is litter dust. When those neighbors moved in spring, i saw the woman carrying a small dog in a pouch at her chest, like a baby. Both dogs were probably sick, probably infected with some parasite that eliminates in the feces and ended up in the dust that gets in here, that gives me the same symptoms and probably.

This summer upstairs moved a woman who looked like a Japanese actress. They also had a dog and they had a portable AC in the kitchen area vibrating the walls and floors and allowing litter dust to get into the walls and from there in here. The current neighbor does not have a dog but a cat and uses only one "in wall" heater, in the dining area or about the same area where the AC was and for that reason (the others are off) it runs a lot, that also vibrates, in about the same area.

Last night i covered more holes and cracks in the laundry closet area because after cleaning for many days it started to stink after i used the washer and drier yesterday which shook the walls and more stuff came in. But i believe somebody was in here last night and took out of the sealed bag an old injector (forgotten from Nissan) that today started to stink to mask the hole story.

Both stinking places are responsible for creating and maintaining my diabetes.

The woman at Apt.9 driving a blue Jeep reminds me now of Christa Jacobson. After her in that apartment moved in a guy who resembled Andrei Postelnicu whom i saw last time the day before he went missing in Florida. In the spring of 2014 i believe Bill Cosby moved in there.

The apartment nr.7, next wall, slightly below, had a chimney. I believe this is where the smoke came from. When i moved in here the smoke didn't get out of our clothes until i washed them at least 5 times each. I believe in there at times was a woman from Hungary, Nora Gorbe.

I once called Lake Oswego Police. The guy who came, Sergeant Sparkle, was looking exactly like the President of Hungary, János Áder.

One more thing. The more i look at Jim McNeeley's face the more i think he looks like the old man who moved lately at Sussex in the apartment under. I don't know, it's been more than ten years. I think it was around 2007 when he came. He parked some sort of old RV vehicle and had it parked there for a long time. Then he got an old car. Lately he put a blanket in kitchen's window and i think he was not airing and cleaning a lot and the whole place started to stink.
To be continued (having a break).

August 28

I woke up after 5 hours of sleep. +1 in the truck last night.

Last night i went to fetch some coffee for Angela inside the non-smoking area at the Spirit Mountain. There was this incredibly thin and tall woman who spent like 5 minutes at the coffee machine moving very slowly and yawning. All of a sudden i started to feel very sleepy, just by watching her. Half hour later i think i saw the eyes of Șoșoaca, on top of a mask and big body, though shorter, i guess. She was accompanied by a tall, rather thin nervous blond bearded guy who turned his head when i looked even though he had a mask.

Then i felt an irresistible urge to sleep. I went in the truck but the truck was facing the casino and a guy two rows in front of me was bending and executing a dance with the open door on the passenger side until i got so annoyed i turned the truck to face the last row next to street. There, i was nodding, on and off on the cheap, uncomfortable seat when a very noisy truck passed and woke me and i thought i saw a shadow with a fabric on top, like some gray clothes, getting under truck.  I got off, looked under with my phone's flashlight, went back and kept nodding until the noisy truck passed again and then i saw a Japanese guy dressed in a greenish coat that could have been double faced, entering a car on the last row i was facing. A weird looking cat, thin with long rear legs passed by. It was then when i decided to go back inside, i got this diabetic crash hunger, went and ordered some chips and fish. When they called my number i saw an old and bald and short Japanese guy going to the counter, like he didn't understand, real close to my food. Then i didn't feel like eating anymore and asked the woman for a to go box, and she offered me a bag too. Then i realized what was that trick, me walking with the bag with the box in it, after seeing Șoșoaca, and ate the food. Nothing happened.

However i started to feel an itchy sting in my left thigh that in the truck was facing the floor, like bitten by an insect. I went in the bathroom and tried to take a picture of that area, i thought i saw two circles, though not inflamed. Now i can't see any trace of it, still feel the itch and got some chills.

There is a one by two inches rubber gasket right under my seat covering a hole in the floor, by design, i don't know why. Some years ago the truck got flooded with water, for years, i pulled the wet jut and  the plastic cover of the floor. I thought water was getting inside through that gasket and added some silicon around it. Today i put some water in that area waiting to see if it drips under. Nothing so far. While doing so, people started to move in the parking lot, like always when i go outside. Watching them in disbelief from under truck. The bearded nerd started his imaginary endless phone conversation. Good thing i looked cause i saw the pipe on the filter which has a thread on one side and it clips on the other, was not clipped on one side and so it wasn't a pipe line. Looked at the pictures i took that day, i wasn't drunk, in the pictures one may see the connector and pipe wasn't clipped. Where was my mind at? But there was smoke outside and people yelling and distracting me. Clipped those things on.

Still have to figure where the water is coming from, cause the rainy season is going to start soon.

As for mileage. When i left for the 100 miles round trip last night the needle was finally at the full line (was two lines over after last fill, with over 30 miles on the trip odometer). After just changing the 15 years old filter it got like 25% better (preliminary, by the gauge only) since last time or around 20, still have to finish the tank with the additive in. I remember several years ago i poured some Lucas fuel additive in the tank. Mileage got better for one tank and then got worse. Snake oil does work! Somehow.

Gasoline is not perfectly clean, that's why cars have filters, dirt accumulate at the bottom of the tanks at the gas station and if you get gas when the level is at its lowest, or the mud has been disturbed by refilling, you get the most. What happens is your tank is really dirty and put some injector cleaner additive, the  the additive dissolves first the mud in the tank and then that mud clogs the filter and injectors. I believe it can't be that dirty right now after they changed the fuel pump that is in the tank a few years ago (did they bother to clean it?). Or if the filter is really old and dirty, the additive dissolves some of that dirt that ends on the injectors' microfilters.

No, the fact that the filters are clogged does not means less gas at the injectors. It is lower pressure at the injectors which drip instead of spraying and the liquid gas does not have time to evaporate and burn when it sould and passes in the exhaust and catalytic. Computer by analyzing the parameters, adds more fuel to compensate (opens the injectors longer).

I wish i knew all these sooner, that's why i'm writing it here. Think at the fuel economy done and parts spared just by replacing an old fuel filter and running some additive (At my truck, the cat is next to the tranny where the clutch is, it heats up the slave cylinder inside the clutch, the transmission fluid which one time literally boiled and because of that i replaced 4 cats and 3 clutches already and i'm holding breath for this one.

This Gum_out i bought says it's for "high mileage" and "the whole fuel system". Wait to see.

Yeah, so far got some mild "flue like" symptoms. But those could be just because of getting under truck and laying on the cold asphalt, with only some bubble wrap under. Leg is itching though deeper inside. Wait to see.

I opened the door to go and take some picture of that gasket only to see the guy upstairs at his car. He went upstairs and promptly started the loud TV (punish me for opening the door and looking at him) while the nerd quieted down (it's always only one source of noise). Took some pictures. Per google, after modification to blogger about a year ago. if i upload the pictures at X-large size, like i did, the resolution is poor but the pictures get in slideshow mode with much better resolution if you click on one. If i choose original size, the slideshow is at poor resolution instead. Yes i tried and you could squeeze an object like a pen or small diameter pipe inside the car by that gasket without damaging anything. This truck has been made by GM in cooperation with Isuzu.

3:49 I'm done scrapping and sanding the whole area. Next i'm going to cut a piece of zinc plated sheet metal and apply it with JB Weld on top of that hole. While scrapping with a screwdriver the rust (though wet) the man upstairs showed and passed really close mumbling something. Soon after the place filled with dust (not from me). I plan on covering the rust that i can't possibly scrap (i don't have a wire brush) with paint so rust won't fly away from my truck anymore. Blood is red because of the rust inside hemoglobin. Afte perspiring a lot while working under that rain proof nylong fabric coat i feel better.

4:35 Just applied the patch with the adhesive, went under to see how i've done it, he came and parked next to me while adhesive is still smelling of course and i ran inside. (He only went "to work" this week two days, Thursday and Friday, 8 hours each.

4:42 Ice cream truck is here, while adhesive still smelling. Anybody figures what i'm experiencing and why i keep saying the're best at playing victim?

5:28 I painted the floor and saw it was matching pretty well the color so i just cleaned with alcohol and painted the area of the hood that was peeling off. Far from perfect, much better than before. But if i don't apply some clear coat next it will wear out by this time next year for sure. Forgot to take the "before" picture, now is kinda useless to take the after. For what's worth it. The grill has been sitting in the sun for 23 years, this truck never saw a garage.
LOL was searching for Sirhan Sirhan and found somebody else... 6:57 In the meantime i remembered where the water was coming from... There are some cracks in the floor by the screws that hold the seats. I covered some of them with silicon, now i see new ones. Real interesting, one of the cracks starts next to what it looks like a blow with a pointed tool in the floor. While washing that area so i can take a picture, the hood of the car still vaguelly smelling like paint, next to it came (to talk to a much younger woman) this guy

7:47 Arts are a part of life. When mine started to smell like dog, i knew i had to go to pick the poops. I found several, more than a pound in total, in places slightly off the usual. In the meantime, the whole area of; the complex went silent. It always does when i figure new faces. I don't know, could be they have to pull some of the non "staff" from here, or those who got convinced, first hand, that i'm telling the truth?

5:15 29 I saw the news oh boy. Every time i plant a seed they say kill it before it grows...

Deci au venit și ei cu ceva.  Dacă vă uitați bine, veți vedea că e tăiată cu flacăra de sudură... Da bine într-o poză ca lumea, nu asta făcută cu un telefon de acum 10 ani...
