There are some risks which may be accumulation of certain "toxic" neurotransmitters and if the "reward" or happy ending of your processes never happens due to some random action or "interruption" from environment, it can get almost physically painful. Other risks could be entering anaerobic metabolism, etc..

It was like they wanted to happen this way. There is no way their aviation experts did not know what length of runway it takes for that plane to land without landing gear. They could have directed the plane to land on a different runway or on the same the other way around.

It seems the pilot had some control over the direction of sliding since plane was kept on the middle of it so he cold have tried to avert it. It is impossible the pilot did not see that barrier while was circling around airport to use all the fuel.

Was there anybody in that plane or it was empty or full of dummies.
