9:30 Got awaken after 5 hours of sleep (same like the last two nights) around 8 by big noises (like a garbage truck though it's Monday) and then the woman next door was talking yelling on the phone for one hour (yes in Spanish though she is Japanese, i know ninja can do that. Learn foreign languages so well you wouldn't know).

I started to remember what i've done last night. Last passing area before Chevron on 26 when going west towards Mt Hood. There was this semi i was following for at least 15 minutes that was going uphill under speed limit though i think it was empty. Those guys even if the are well maintained, put a lot of carbon dioxide behind especially when going uphill, that usually makes me sleepy.

There were two more vehicles behind it. Those and myself started to pass the truck which went onto the right lane. However instead of slowing down it sped up like they usually do to maybe 65 or more. (Had 75 or when i last looked at speedometer while trying to pass it but was held by the other two).

I know when i started to pass my speed was about 65 with the shifter on automatic, at about 4500 rpm and probably in 4th gear. I don't know exactly why but the truck accelerated after those two guys ahead of me passed it and when passing area ended i was parallel with it and i continued to accelerate until i finally passed it too though it was ft behind me and flashing lights instead of slowing down and when i looked at the speedometer and i was doing 80, uphill.

I read on sites and forums last night that my car has a rpm soft limiter at 6000 rpm when you are in sequential mode, when it shifts gears down automatically (and you loose power when uphill of course) and one at 6500 when you are in automated mode, like i was, when it cuts power to the engine. If that had happened he would have hit me from behind for sure cause it was only ft behind me until i slowly accelerated to 90 and put some distance in between.

If i panicked when i saw it close behind and then flashing, and hit the gas pedal to the floor the car would have shifted back to 3rd, the rpm increasing maybe over 6500 at 90 and the engine would have stopped at that rpm.

How would a semi do 80 uphill, that is another question.

Have no idea what marks that truck had on it, but i'm sure it was caught on the cameras on the freeway and/or seen by other drivers. Or maybe he veered right towards Hood River before reaching the Government Camp area. It was all done intentionally, like so many times recently in all kind of situations, in cooperation with the two other drivers and these guys are criminals that should spend time behind bars.

Similar things happen to me in almost all my trips.

9:58 Saturday night after passing Newberg going east again i was going uphill at 65, passed one guy (a white SUV) that was slower in the right lane when i saw something crossing the street, from the left.

It would have taken too long to lift my foot from gas pedal and hit the breaks so i just veered left in the median lane trying to get behind it which i did, maybe except for its tail, don't know if the guy right and behind me hit it. Seconds later i realized by the white stripes on its back that imprinted on my retina that it was a skunk, the first time ever i saw one. It was pretty big, about the size of a raccoon, but faster.

I apologize for modifying the gear numbers so many times in this post, it was all based on guessing (can't see the gear you're in on the dashboard, only the letter D when in automatic).

12:00 This video shows 4500 rpm at 85 mph in 3rd but it's a different type of Elantra. However if you press on gas hard enough you can very easily downshift one ore two gears and reach 6500 when the the fuel to the engine is cut off. BTW this guy is crazy, he does 170 mph with a flat tire warning on the dashboard. I personally never went over 100 with any vehicle.


12:37 I know what happened back in August 20 2021. The driver who hit me could have pretended i again lost engine power when accelerating over 6500 or whatever rpm, but in that night i was going with speed limit on cruise control on a flat or even a bit downhill area on I5 in 6th gear (fuel efficiency gear) per reason of driving with a spare (right rear).

Only when i saw him very close behind i might have tried to accelerate but it was too late as it would have taken several seconds to shift from 6th to let's say 2nd and even in the 2nd gear could still go faster than 60 which i was going when he hit me (that Elantra was 1.8 engine but was rated at the same 150 hp).

One more thing. The cop called a towing company that refused to tow us for reason of distance (22 miles, wondering why the cop wouldn't tell them on the phone, when he called them, where to). Could one of those two towing guys i talked to while the cop was skillfully recording it audio and video to have been actually the driver of the truck who hit me, pretending he didn't run after all. So i actually i might have talked without knowing, with the help complicity of the cop with my ex would be killer.

3:10 No i didn't. Only now i know what happened, a walk through the relatively clean air also cleared my mind. BTW when i left i poured some more vinegar in the old rusted dog feces contaminated pan under the new water heater and the child actors came and started to yell like swallowed whole by giant serpents. So they did when i passed the camp (the children camp in the park, less than one mile away from down town Tulatin and Martinazi street) they enact every summer.

The mods at the battery. In that day in August 2021 i had poured from days before some JB weld steel reinforced adhesive on top of the nuts of the connectors to prevent them from getting loose, not on the connectors themselves. In fact, during engine running the vehicle is powered by the alternator (and not the battery that acts only as a filter) of which connectors runs through a series of plates on the positive with the negative doubled directly on the body. There was adhesive on the nut of the plates too, but not on or between the contacting plates under.

In that night after the accident and pulling on a street nearby i was casually talking in front of the open hood to the second cop and the driver of the towing truck that refused towing, about those mods.

The current configuration has modifications too, only there is no adhesive involved but only a second system doubling the stock con_nec_tors, actually a redundancy with bypassing and an extra connection to the ground on the negative and again bypassing the stock connector to the plates on the positive, with bolts soldered on top of poles. It is true, i saw yesterday one of the battery poles was a little bent, i don't know why, there is no extra weight on it.

Besides i never had problems with it, on the opposite, it improved vehicle's operation by increasing driveability, mileage and decreasing vibration. I have digital a voltmeter inserted in one of the plugs. Never lost power in years of experimenting with those, then why in that day?

The taillights on every car are build to reflect light and they would have been very visible in the dark when lit with headlights from behind, even if i lost power which i didn't.

In fact on another recent occasion i used the horn as last defense against an attempt of being again hit from behind and the other driver fell back. Now i know why. Horn was showing i had electric power.

But if i accidentally (mis)maneuvered and hit the gas pedal to the floor and hit the 6500 rev limit in 1st gear uphill, it could have looked like i lost electric power. I'm wondering what would have happened if i was wounded in an accident near Mt.Hood, far away from any hospital and ambulance services.

August 23 was only 2 days away and in that day at Les Schwab in Lake Owego i was assisted by a Les Schwab employee that looked like a right wing minister from one of the numerous Iohannis governments, Dan Vilceanu. It is rumored Iohannis has ties with the extreme right in Romania. He told me the tire with the flat i had earlier that day before the accident was unfixable as per a previous defective installation (done at the same shop). He insisted he took the tire in the trunk, where i was hit in that night.

What happens is though they are doing symbolic gestures trying to take credit of what followed that night in front of their right wing audience while the others don't care.

I think it was on May 2020 when driving with the same car, the first day a casino ever opened (Little Creek) after pandemics closure, when i went over a wheel (whole wheel, not shredded tire) exactly in that area, in the middle of the lane. Thing is i did not panic and hit the brakes, the car would have lowered its front (nose dive) and hit it and it barely touched it with some part (cross member i think).

After, i pulled from freeway in the area where she was missing from (not knowing at the time) to check for damages under the car.

In that night at the casino i went to the car several times (to drink of course) and last time i sat in line behind a woman, not unattractive but looking vulnerable, thin and not tall, who kept telling everybody she lost her purse and kept getting out and back in line (for temperature checking) to get in, and she didn't know why. I saw her later in the casino talking with two cops, then why the search that kept going for days?

4:49 This 2019 Elantra is closer to mine. You can realize it's a decent car. As for style, Koreans have a sense for a an elegant minimalism, beating classical Japanese basic pragmatism though lately they all started to look the same.

I think the man was doing 110 on a German autobahn in 5th gear at 6500 rpm (minute 1:58) right before car automatically shifted to 6th. In the US you can see this road quality only on recently paved freeways. Never seen continuous or interrupted lines so straight though confusing at 3:00 due to construction work. Crooked lane lines get you tired, fast. Good thing they also keep you challenged (and alert).

This, at 4:00. They do this to me a lot, slower cars changing lanes when i'm about to pass them. Good thing they didn't do it when he was passing them going 120 mph (193 kmh). And a stinking classic that fills your cabin (and filter) with smoke for the next 5 minutes. I see they're universal.

1:17 Pyramids on Indian territory? They recently cut the trees so the can be seen better. Together with the solar symbols. There is a panel in the parking lot of the museum. Was too tired to enter, sorry. In the panel they were some Indian faces, since 100 years ago. To my opinion, they were all Japanese.

Same thing at Chinook Winds. To those who don't know, Billy Chinook was a famous chief. I doubt he would be very happy if he found out his named was used like this, and in a totally different tribe.

I realy doubt the casinos are operated indeed by the tribes. I only saw once an Indian walking at Ilani and he probably did it for me to see how one looks like. So much for the jobs created by the casinos within the communities. Not even at Thunder Valley, the biggest one, in California. As for the profits that go to individual tribe members, go and see the shopping center called American Market near Spirit Mountain. Who doesn't have pyramids outside but on the logo.

I was at Blue Lake casino in California when a drunk Mexican threatened to kill me. I was with the Police on the phone while he stood behind my car, with one hand not visible. And they didn't hurry to come.

He tried a couple of more times, last time here in the parking lot, dressed like a woman, acting like the wife of "the veteran".

"The veteran" was actually several people. Enough to shave their head and show in the parking lot from the first entrance of building D, on the left across the valley. Far enough for me not to realize who they were, especially after i was treated with smokes. I have identified the first, a Hungarian opera singer,  then the singer known as Pitbull, the wife of one of them, and the last one, Sunday, was channel 12 traffic reporter Tony Martinez.

BTW yesterday Angela had a free room at Chinook Winds hotel. The first time there the room wasn't stinking, only us. From the same source, the contaminated pan of the water heater, that seem to smell worse after pouring in it two cans of oven cleaner. Among others, inside i saw the singer Szia. And a baby in a baby basket on the floor next to the door guarded by two security guards. Many guys in red shirt guarding everyone as i was passing by. Why i keep going in there? I could breathe for 24 hours stink free. In here, tonight, several heavy vehicles with modified exhaust shook the apartment for hours, made the smell come out of that closet with the water heater. After i poured almost one liter of vinegar in it.

2:00 Hit and run. On August 20 2021 i was hit from behind by a truck with metal bars on front (no damage to the truck, after taking those out) while my car was totaled. The policeman who came at the scene started to ask questions like suspecting me i was faking in it and never started a hit and run investigation. It was on I5 at a few miles from the interstate bridge and they were cameras on poles.

But of all unaccounted crimes committed against us there is a prevalent one. Stalking. It happens on the streets or all the places we go. License plate numbers, celebrities present in most unlikely places and times. It looks to me like they feel entitled to. First you cannot be entitled to commit a crime. If it happens hundreds of times a day, they how many have happened in a year or ten?

Endangering. One example. Every time i pass a narrow bridge at night or a curve to the left, scores of cars with modified headlights come and blind me. To me it became a rule and i know what to wait for. At least one hundred times at one trip only.

1:41 It's been 5 years since i go to the casinos. Let me tell you one thing. There's nothing about gambling. The machines are connected in network and there is a control room. If it was real gambling would have been way too boring and uncontrollable. There is at least one camera per machine and they are not about security. In casinos with 2500 machines and 1000 cameras there should be maybe 100 people or ten per camera or something to supervise those. They have some software that does it.

But what else the software does. It analyzes gestures and emotions and gives a feedback to the machine. Even on my 90 dollars Kodak camera there is a smile detector software.

One thing they do is they show you big hands scrolling in front of your eyes when you are bored and tired and can't react creating the need to play more until you see again one of those and eventually stop the reels but the reels can't be stopped in real time, like when you see a big hand. When you decide you should move to a different machine and start looking around, they give you a big hand (no it won't work if you do it again, on purpose, that's why they call it AI). There are numerous other strategies to increase irrational player's desire to continue play and lose money. They have settings and hours when many machines suddenly become loose.

Again all these do not fit the definition of gambling. But how do you prove the slots are not random. How do you define random.

I remember when i first wrote about this. At Chinook, a security guard once came to me and gave me a ticket they said i dropped on the floor and i asked him how they did it and they said they saw me on one of those cameras. I guess it was for convincing me and others who read what i wrote that the cameras are for that purpose. But nobody saw what happened with my ticket last week at Indian Head, even after i asked them.

And then of course remains the question of how did i drop it at such an opportune moment. I can't answer to that but i believe is some sort of mind training or programming, with gestures of other people.

In the early days at Chinook i found money in a machine as someone forgot to pull the ticket but i realized that after a few hands and i thought i won but didn't realize (wasn't sure). However they came within minutes and almost charged me with theft.

There are tests for randomness but again, they might have a setting "back to random" so the test should be done without letting them know. And how do you do that if you suspect a general conspiracy?

People don't seem to understand. Their symbols are all around to choke us. From tiny insignificant things to big ones. That we don't pay attention with our conscious minds. They've been at work for hundreds of years and this is the result of their work. Symbols and allegories. They program our minds and our future.

12:45 He came from behind and stopped and let headlights on high beam possibly other more lights on. I spoke with him in the spot of those lights. He didn't have a mask and asked me to remove mine. I had one because i was afraid i was smelling though i didn't drink for 5 hours before. Then he "piloted" me on a dark street with no much light. I spent the rest of the time worrying about towing, insurance. I was pretty shook up after what happened including for the next 24 hours. Then i started to worry about other things. But i'm sure he was at least one inch short of 6 ft.

8:08 Place filled with smoke that could be raw tobacco or something else, not sure where it's coming from, really annoying.

1:44 Woke up around noon after a few more hours of sleep. When i woke up Progressive called. Monica confirmed i was insured, my deductible is 300 for hit and run, and asked me if i wanted the car fixed or money for repair and i said i wanted it fixed. Though the noise is still there, that car is way too important because of the mileage. I drove it 65k with almost half the price for gas i would have with a different car. However i remember the Nissan when it was new (to me) was doing a similar mileage. She said i will be contacted by a local agent with options within 24 hours. I sent her the pictures with the damaged car and the paper the Police officer gave me.
While rested, i felt very nauseated, my mouth was smelling like a garbage bin in the summer and tried to go for a walk. That didn't work and came back and took some charcoal caps. I noticed food wraps in the grass most likely from the kids that were playing yesterday, from the direction of the wind at that hour. Earlier i saw a beer or soda can in the chips from the opposite direction or where the wind was blowing from at that hour but that has been removed. Next to the garbage bin i saw a piece of ground beef and two pieces of cheese next to a doggy bag.

I went for a walk, many fat and thin women, all from the same australian species, with extra long legs patrolling, looking concerned. A very fat guy with a very large black and long beard in an Oregon State Police car, double parked at the end of the near empty section of the lot. An Airgas van parked in the middle on several spots. They finished Borland street, poured new asphalt, it smells like it. I came back, only half as nauseated as when i left.

I noticed, over time that they throw in the grass or next to bin foods or wraps from foods i just ate. That ensures breeding the exact type of bacteria and/or mold that would made me sick when the wind blows from that direction. I think it's again one of their alchemic principles, fire with fire.

These foods could have come from the fridge and still good within an hour or so but just the juices that fall on asphalt in the sun next to that garbage been and dog bag are enough.

When i'm done with the insurance, i will try to get a copy of his report and maybe a picture cause i could not clearly see his face during the whole episode.

2:47 Guy upstairs got an auspicious moment and started his march to victory. I just went outside and picked some of the mess next to the bin. Butter, cheese (i ate this morning), ground beef, dog poo. There are more items like dog poos and cans between the fence and bin i cannot pick without a tool.

5:01 Angela is just outside trying to fix the plant with aphids, for a week now, every day, got three flowers, i am doing a search, and the man upstairs is retaliating, like he did in the last few weeks, this time by stumping at the end of the living, with smell of cat litter dust being released. This could not have been the old dust since the ladies of December. This should have been brought here fresh by him or his elves.

Earlier. Went to pick Angela from work, she had a scheduled stop at Fred Meyer (Kroger, whatever). On the road at an intersection i saw Kurt Cobain in a Porsche or a guy made to look like him (his actor is dead in Hungary, got a statue there). More German scenes, at the entrance a Heidi with unbreaded pony tails and a huge flying butt on top of pillar like legs, moving, from time to time her head nervously, only to show she was a gypsy from Hungary, a long line for backscenes at the entrance, all the scenes were in the store, i lost Angela and then i realized i forgot my phone. On my way back to the truck i grabbed a 2 liter pop of diet no caffeine Cola, this was my chance, and at the entrance two gigantic cops with an SUV (they got a designated parking spot, but they pulled at the entrance, for dramatism) one of them staring at me with disbelief (my luck, he meant by looking at me).  Don't know what for, haven't done nothing but stumbling on the actors at every corner, and in the store where only them, the actors. But as long as is 23 and there's still a chance... Is Terry Yaki Japanese or Chinese?

7:05 Acum vreo jumătate de oră o oră am ațipit pe scaun la calc., Angela dormea cu geamul deschis, s-a dus și a trântit geamul. Nerd-ul acela (cred că e un actor dintr-un film cu nerdz, poate Big Band), și-a scos iar vocea pițigăiată la balcon, la parter în clădirea vecină, pretinzând că vorbește la telefon, spune tare unul după altul cuvinte fără sens, cu accente pe nervii mei, iar când începe îl ține ore în șir. Am luat telefonul gândindu-mă doar să-l înregistrez mai de aproape, am deschis ușa și am scos capul și m-am uitat după colț iar în balcon în spatele lui care ședea, în blugi plini de slănină prelungă durdulie și cu păr galben despletit, cine era pe post de soție și înger păzitor, alta decât Șoșoaca însăși, scroafa zburătoare transatlantică? Când m-am uitat, ea s-a mișcat nervos, nu-mi venea să cred, m-am mai uitat odată, iar și-a încordat mușchii slănina (am mai văzut-o odată acu vreo 2 luni, tot acolo). Încă e 23, a venit, poate mă enervam (ninja de sus mi-a dat mai devreme iar cu praf din ăla împuțit și iritant și cu gărgăuni de pisică) și scoteau ceva din toată faza, mâine pielea mea nu va mai valora nici jumătate din cât face azi, iar peste 2 zile ajunge iar la mai nimic.

Într-o zi prin 2013 cred am lucrat la mașină și am inhalat atât de mult fum pe-afară încât pur și simplu nu mai știam ce-i cu mine. Mergeam peste viteza limită, depășeam aiurea. A doua zi când conduceam normal sergentul Sparkle pe care-l cunoșteam fiindcă am chemat odată poliția la o fază, nu-mi mai amintesc, tot așa, era fum, el tot așa, cu mustață, mai tânăr, bărbat bine, m-a urmărit, fără flash sau sirenă, eu nu am știut, am intrat la stația de benzină, a venit în locul tipului de la stație și mi-a dat chitanța după care m-a scos din mașină, mi-a dat un test de sobrietate cum se spune în engleză și printre altele mi-a băgat bastonul între picioare, în timp ce avioane mari de linie treceau pe deasupra. Într-un sfârșit a venit o tipă în aceeași uniformă, probabil polițistă pe bune la care tipul m-a lăsat în pace și a plecat. Probabil există încă video, asta a și dorit, faza s-a întâmplat la stația Chevron din Lake Oswego de pe Boones Ferry lângă I5.

Cât despre Trianon, psihologie inversă, ungurii ori vor stăpâni lumea în continuare, inclusiv România, în parteneriat cu japonezii, ori, dacă pierd controlul, vor dispărea iar numai atunci românii vor scăpa din gheara lor, fiindcă aceasta este calea pe care au ales-o, scopul pentru care au venit în Europa, cu ultimul val, maghiarii (magarii) budiști, acum 1000 de ani.

De fapt, dacă stau și mă gândesc bine, Trianon a fost motivația cu care elitele, sau cei ce le controlează care nu pot fi decât ninja din Japonia, i-a făcut pe fraieri, care au fost pregătiți cam de la înființarea academiei aceleia de actori să se bage în identități false în toată lumea, pentru a se răzbuna. Reculer pour mieux sauter. Însă mulți, mai ales cei de etnie română, evreiască sau țigănească au fost șantajați.

11:39 Apropo, ori de câte ori vedeam chestiile alea de paradă bineînțeles anti-gay din Ungaria mă gândeam la pozele astea pe care nu-mi mai aminteam unde erau. Căutând altceva, am dat de ele în sfârșit. La noi, chiar la alții încă nu am văzut așa ceva.

Last of the Hyundai

April 2018. We bid on a car at Copart. Like IAA, it's a place where insurance companies sell the totaled cars after they pay their customers the market value. They usually specify the areas where the car was damaged. This one has been listed as  "minor scratches and damages". We saw the car prior at the auction lot, together with one hundred others. Did not realize the car was actually in an accident, partially fixed and put back in auction and sold again at a higher price. I paid a total of 45 hundred dollars, including Copart fees.

When i went and picked it at the auction site, the car was driveable, but was making a weird noise at the engine. The mud cover on the right front was damaged, the fender was not holding in place, battery was almost dead and 5 years old. Serpentine belt was bent by a foreign object that gut between belt and pulleys at the time of the accident. When i got home i found in the trunk the broken windshield washer reservoir and the right headlight. Car was painted on the right side, with the right door and fender damaged. It was unclear if the right door airbag was still functional, though no dashboard light was on.

They were some sort of crystals on the windshield and hood, maybe from car being driven behind a de-icer that did not go away after a year or something, impairing visibility. Nr.1 and 2 cylinders had spark plug loose (0 torque) and there was oil in the cylinders and on the threads and inside the spark plug wheels. The shoulder at the bottom of the spark plug wheels  where the washers of the spark plugs seal sit was damaged and it was impossible to seal the spark plug when torquing it. Exhaust was leaking by the spark plugs in the engine compartment. Hood was bent (never fixed) and was not touching the seal with exhaust coming through the air intake grill in the cabin. There was oil in the the cylinders and on the spark plug threads.

3 years of struggle followed, with me working at the cars for hours, several days a week.

First went to Beaverton Hyundai and bought a battery and had it installed. Bought there a serpentine belt and installed it. Bought on Amazon a 6 mm diameter camera (about 20 bucks) to look inside the cylinders where i did not see piston slap damage but oil.

I tried to wipe the spark plug threads with balls of cotton soaked in alcohol, but they were not holding.
 
Designed and build in a machine shop a tool to resurface the shoulders of the spark plug holes. Finally torqued the spark plugs. Ordered a mud cover for right front on ebay and installed it. Ordered a windshield washer reservoir and installed it. Straightened the hood by stepping on it while hood semi-open, several times over the years. Did not realize the plastic grill was still leaking in several places by design, until about a week before the accident. Over 3 years i drove the car from 35 k to almost 100, while breathing exhaust inside the cabin, though less and less.

Did not realize the battery connectors could not be tightened enough, and were constantly getting loose, again by design, with battery never fully charging, until i bought a plug in USB charger with a digital voltmeter and because of needing jump starts several times after exhausting the battery with radio and fan in parking lots i also bought a 40 dollars 10000 mah li-ion smart jump starter on Amazon.

There was foam in the oil indicating sticky valves and squishy lifters. Tried to use some valve cleaner for the noise and injector cleaner additive inside the tank. As that wasn't working, i tried to clean the throttle body when i saw the inside of the composite intake manifold, which was installed in front of the compartment, or the left side of the engine, which was oily.

I tried and used a 3/8 piece of vinyl tube connected to a vacuum cleaner and pulled from the intake ounces of oil. It was  then when i realized that oil from the PCV was condensing inside the cold manifold that was installed in front of the engine compartment and pooling at the bottom of the intake which was installed upside down, by design, with the bottom bellow the runners, unlike any car i seen before. From there, oil was trickling up the runners, burning on valves and making them sticky, especially at number one cylinder. More oil was getting inside the cylinder, lubricating the piston rings unevenly, contaminating spark plugs, etc..

I pulled the injectors and tried to clean them applying voltage and some solvent from a spray can. Can had twice the pressure of the fuel and blew the injectors microfilters. I had to buy new injectors from dealer, for 400 bucks.

Over the years, i designed and installed several versions of catch cans on the PCV circuit, trying to minimize the amount of oil that gets in the intake which i was vacuuming "regularly" with a device i designed myself, made of a piece of tubing and a mat pump. With the last version of the catch can i could not vacuum oil from the intake anymore, there was none left.

A few months ago i bought an Exide battery and installed it and the noise was gone for a few hours. That was until the nuts at the connectors got loose again. Weeks before the accident i degreased the connectors together with the 8 bolts and nuts that were around the battery connectors and sealed the nuts on top with some adhesive. The voltage on the plug in charger with digital voltmeter was finally showing 14.3 volts while driving, 14.1 while idling. In the day of the accident, the noise was almost gone.

The noise was coming from the nr.1 cylinder or the furthest on the fuel rail, where fuel had not enough pressure because of low voltage at the fuel pump and injector was dripping,  causing uneven washing of the cylinder, with probably some slap while the engine cold, and not enough fuel washing the oil condensed on runner and trickling on valve, which was not getting washed enough because of low voltage at the fuel pump, making the valve stick and the lifer squish oil which was foamy. One cylinder working less than others meant vibration at the engine which meant poor driveability at high speed.

When i did rear brakes, a couple of years ago, i saw the indicators for pad wearing were bent and acting like springs, pushing the pads on the rotor, diminishing mileage.

Over the years, the car was doing an average of 35 mpg on the freeway and @20 in stop and go traffic. The car was quite comfortable to drive, due to soft suspension and many options, including working AC, bluetooth and satellite radio (which we did not subscribe for). In the days prior to the accident it was in its best shape ever, with smooth running engine, good driveability and almost no noise.

On August 19 Angela told me on the phone she had a flat. On the same tire there was another, several months ago when i got it fixed at Les Schwab in Lake Oswego. When she got home, i found low pressure in right rear, enough to trigger the sensor, put the tire in the tub full of water and didn't see any bubbles. I took the tire, for precaution, at the same Les Schwab shop in Lake Oswego.

There i spoke to a guy who resembled the current Finance Minister of Romania. Of course i didn't realize right away. Inside there was this Hungarian opera singer who acted like Phil Wick, Les Schwab's CEO after the death of Les Schwab.

The Romanian guy called me inside the shop which didn't happen in a long time, i went reluctantly after he called me a couple of times and showed me a tire similar to mine that had a damaged rim for about 1/6 length of the whole rim. He told me if it was from a previous installation which was in the same shop and asked me if wanted a new tire, i asked him if he had Michelin, the brand that was originally on car when i got it, he said no, if he can get it by tomorrow, he said we should talk in the morning, he had the number on my record, he then put the tire back on the wheel, inflated it and the wheel in the trunk. He insisted to put it there himself. This car doesn't come with a spare, though it has the space for it in the trunk. I found one at the junkyard, from a Ford that fitted. Though spare was new, the car was not driving the same as with the original wheel, especially at high speeds on the freeway. In the same evening i re-ordered a couple of tires similar to those in front which i changed more than a year ago, similar to the original ones. They were scheduled to arrive Monday, however they came Saturday morning or the day after the accident.

Friday evening i drove to Ilany, after both of us changed our mind, first Angela, then me, not to go that evening. 40 miles one way, had some difficulty driving, the car was drifting a bit, they were lots of drivers with weird LPN like KGB harassing us, as usually in the last few years. So i had to go with the speed limit.

In that day when she came from work she said she saw a light on the dashboard, it was the light showing something wrong with the airbags.

At midnight 20/21 i was coming back doing 60 in a 60 area on cruise control (which is kinda slow i recon). I was in the middle lane, because i was close to the interstate bridge where i don't want to drive on side lanes. Suddenly i noticed i was surrounded by a group of cars, left, right and behind. I saw in the mirror the lights from behind approaching at high speed, probably 20 over the speed limit. I could not change lanes, though the cars left and especially right might have slowed down in that moment, living me alone. Thing is i can't remember, because it all happened very fast. All i know is in my mind i had few options except to tell Angela to brace for impact and probably i accelerated in the last few seconds, reducing the difference in speed between the vehicles. For one second i thought he gave up then he accelerated too and i felt the impact. I was pushed forward at higher speed while all the other cars in the group fell behind. When i realized i still had control of the car i looked, the right lane was free, i veered right, stopped on the shoulder and tried to see his LPN. However when he passed he was surrounded by the other cars. All i could see was the tail of a huge white Ford pickup with the letters 4x4 on the tail. I took a picture of the car which was pretty damaged but still driveable (in the end, after talking to the cops who called a towing company who didn't want to go that far, calling our own towing that wasn't calling back, i drove the 22 miles from there to home, on right lane, and i had to pull over at least one time because of a truck that was coming again threatening from the rear).

The Washington State police came within 5 minutes. The cop looked bored and interested in a car that zoomed at high speed. He left the front lights on onto my car and i could not see his face. He said i should not drive the car back home cause it could not take another hit like that, which in the end almost happened. However, i do remember he looked like this guy.

He then agreed to drive before me (while another Police SUV came from behind, following me) and pilot me to a safe place. He exited the freeway than choose a street with poor illumination, near a property called G&G in the Minnehaha neighborhood of Vancouver, Washington, 2 miles away from Columbia river and Oregon.

There he asked me to write on a form called SUSPECT/WITNESS statement what happened and sign it. Then he asked me this question. What happened right after the impact? Because only those who survived such impact know what happens. The speed of your vehicle increases and that of the vehicles who hit you decreases. I think it was a test question. However, he did not write on the report "hit and run" which could have triggered a call for potential witnesses in the media.

Then he called their contracted towing company which came but refused to tow us "because of the distance". So i called the insurance, but the menus where such designed i had to file the claim first which meant an almost one hour conversation with the insurance claims rep. The cop left, the towing left and we were all alone on the dark street. I had to pee in a bottle i had in the thank that was crushed by the accident. The towing was not coming, i tried to call insurance again, got lost in menus and then i decided to drive back home. As i got on the freeway at around 2 AM, towing called saying they are within 10 minutes distance.

October 18

A large chunk of this post, that i wrote earlier today got deleted. I don't know how, i will try to re-write it.

I think i said about the magnets that finally got here after being delayed one day (other items, like the fender for the "new" Hyundai got delayed by several days, "because of unprece_dented (popular?) demand").

Magnets are rated 30 pounds, however in reality they don't even hold 5. False advertisement? I got a stronger one i bought at Homo Depot years ago that i think is the one rated at 100 pounds on Amazon but even that one is not strong enough for what i needed and that is pull dents on my new car, cause i don't really like the current method, that reminds too much of Covoodoo. These DIY electro-magnets when applied 1.5 Volts hold 50 pounds. How about when applied 12 volts? 120? Could they possible pull a dent? Thing is, they can create 500 or even 5000 pounds at close contact, however dents are not of regular shape, could use some electromagnetic fluid (grease mixed with iron filings) to fill the distance at start. Still re-searching.

Then i saw the news, in my beloved Romania. Dan Barna "shot (shout) an allusion to their political allies", USR, saying they are like the 300 spartans that stood the king of Xerxes and perished without a chance but still fought to the end. I thought it was an allusion to all of us.  An invitation to give up.

But it's the opposite cause it's them who are the minority. The slightly different species that evolved separately for tens of thousands of years in Australia. They are specialized in manipulation, in ways european modern thinking (or even classical) cannot understand due to lack of tools (concepts)(wondering who are all the philosophers and scientists of our days). They got to control everything in the last hundreds of years. It all started before the creation of states, as states being easier (more efficient) to control as whole entities. Then i said the majority, normal Hungarians, who have mostly European genes probably look at all these and being perplexed like everybody else.

Then i saw the pictures with Valentin Ceaușescu i wrote later about (lower, i write these lines on top or in place of what i lost, after) that triggered the need to re-do a post about Nicolae Ceaușescu (amintiri din câmpul cu mătrăgună) which required yet another hour of my life, bring forth the old post with Elena Ceaușescu. I said the actress,  Hedi Lammar who did her was a case of both a beautiful and smart woman, with an attitude and mind of her own, born in Austria, who disappeared from Hollywood  by the time Elena Ceaușescu appeared in Romania as wife of the dictator.  Then i rhetorically asked myself, why (re)do this old post since they were no results whatsoever for what i've done so far, and it all means wasting my time and everybody's. Then somehow everything i wrote to this point or my work for half day got deleted from the post, wasting way more time.

(I can't believe how primitive and time consuming are the tools i work with. Blogger is a very old platform, they have drive now that saves every version of a spreadsheet you work on, but here, nothing, and if you delete by mistake the version you're working on you delete everything. Same with matches, i crop on my computer dozens of versions with the most basic tool and i see the alignment only after i assemble the two images on a blog post, in dozens of iterations which requires hours of work).

Do i have to tell this story too. Back in early 90s my father calls (i was working as a programmer back then, doing accounting and salaries) me saying he wants to expand his shop (furniture) into a factory with the help of Gerard, a guy from Australia and another one from France (forgot his name) and Fântănă, a guy from Bucharest (he was born in those places, a relative of his wife). A place near Fălticeni, Suceava county. Foresta SRL i guess was the proposed name. I think they even started, buying to my father a few used machines which he installed in a building he made from a sort of concrete he invented, made of wood chips and cement. So i went in there and one night i sat at a table with Fântână, the guy from France and his wife and while my father was pouring his own type of brandy made of grapes residue from wine and sugar, i got drunk and talked nonsense in French all night with the two guys, of which of course my father didn't understand a thing.

Can't remember the outcome of the evening, but a few months later i spent a whole week in Măgurele, near Bucharest, trying to figure the accounting of that firm when their computer was not busy with that guy's son playing Spice. The firm had one branch in Bucharest that was doing car alarms, by the design and using the equipment (a wave soldering machine) brought by the guy from Australia and also selling phones brought as junk from Telecom Australia. One good thing was the man took me one day in his Mercedes to the Seismology Institute where i saw the same (working) seismometers i see nowadays in the pictures with Mărmureanu. The business (at least my father's part) did not go anywhere, my father had a few employees using those machines, but he had no marketing skills and by the time i visited him in 2004 he was only doing beekeeping, also cashing a check from being retired and the shop was empty.

I looked in the news today and after all the "training" i got by doing matches, i had a flash-back and recognized this guy as being Fântână.

6:01 Got my answer from Progressive. First she said she is not the person i was looking for, however she advised about California privacy laws while the totals of the estimates is published on IAA web site anyways. What i believe is since i am the current owner i am entitled to any record created since the existence of the vehicle.
6:27 Just opened an "automated" email with an "unsubscribe" button from Progressive that came earlier which contains "files related to your claim #21-9013463", however that claim is closed. After a warning that says that if you don't agree with it you should not use it (a bit of recurrence don't you think) "the files" basically try to say that everything is related to that claim and everything else related to everything on their web site and their associates, including emails and estimates from shops is copyrighted material. Since they never sent it to me while the claim was opened or maybe they did and i didn't pay attention (which was about one month time period) i feel like this is a threat, at least as timing about what i just posted above and generally harassment, and worse than that, bullying. The email screenshots taken from my computer i published are not related to my past claim but the car i just bought. I also wanted to publish the repair estimate for my old Hyundai Elantra (how did they know i will and came to threaten), as i did with the amounts they paid first and after they further damaged the car om the shop, and gave me no choice to retain it. I also believe they choose the name Nicholas Sprague (who in reality is that guy from Jeopardy, Buzzy). They can't possibly have adjusters that speak like that guy. I know who i am and my name is not Nicholas or Nicolae or Nicu or anything that starts with N. Note the estimate was done September 1st or ten days after the accident.

Estimate done by Artistic Auto Body on Hunziger Street in tigard. Note the price for both outer quarter panels (area above rear wheels which are not bumpers) that where very little damaged and could have been easily repaired, a total of over 5000 for parts and work.

Here is the picture with the car 4 days after the accident (August 24) or when Nicholas agreed and paid for the car to be towed at Artistic Auto Body. I don't have a picture (was quite upset those days) from the left side, but it was in a similar shape. Also the rear windshield was intact.

On Friday September 3rd or right after they issued the estimate, i went to Artistic Auto Body to pick the car. However, the car was in a bad shape, with engine knocking, broken rear windshield and sitting on a side, like with damaged suspension, foil and tape around the rear end. As i drove the car that night from the accident scene home 20 miles, no problems (except a truck tried to hit me again and i pulled right), i planned to drive it to a shop, but now it was impossible. In that night, Nicholas sent me another email offering 1,700 more for the car and 300 more for hit and run which he refused until that time. Unfortunately i forgot to upload that picture and now i can't find it. However, it is not much different from the picture of the car at IAA site except for the suspension part. Note that they added a value to the car, 6,244, but not repair cost which according to Artistic in the link above is 14,543. They will probably sell the car for over 3,000 in auction. Which means that Progressive ends up paying 3,000 for a total loss of a car that is worth over 6,000, instead of fixing it which would have been about the same in an honest shop. What do you want, it's a business for profit, not a charity.

Fedora Customizations

Finally crossed my mind i could use a script for customizing Fedora 27 XFCE. After finishing manual partitioning with preserving home directory with all data and settings including for Chrome (i choose manual partitioning at installation and i have a scheme like 256 MB for /boot, 6 GB for / and /var, 2 for /temp and swap and 32 for /home which i don't reformat, have more NTFS partitions with old pictures and music, up to 500 GB).

First thing i do i go to /etc/lighdm and edit the file lightdm.conf in order to enable automatic login to user george2 by uncommenting two lines and specifying user name.

And since i keep the home directory, i keep there the script too.

Custom iptables files, modified fstab and hosts files in the same Before and After directory. The way i built iptables and ip6tables. Started with blocking everything then adding rules for only what i need.

Then i go to chrome://settings/ and disable hardware acceleration (gives me wavy scrolling which made me lose half more day today because i forgot how i've done it last time).

But will i ever reinstall Fedora again on this computer? Hopefully not, cause they got to version 30 while i cannot install more than 27 because they don't support anymore video drivers for my card.

06-26. Guess what. Got drunk yesterday (my birthday) more than usually and crashed it again. Tried the procedure above and didn't quite work though i got quite sober by 4 AM. Today after many tries which involved about ... 10 reinstalls, i found the reason. By moving fstab file in the working directory then back in /etc something happens though i still don't know what, so i just figured how to add the line for the ramdisk in fstab without moving the file, with command echo, and got to two (proved working) bash scripts. One is run with command yes|./ which involves automatic yes answer to all questions. But i had to brake it up because for some reason would give an error at downloading gpg keys. So the rest of it is run and answered manually.

So it's installing with live installation then login as root and run these two. Provided you have the necessary files in the running directory, in my case /home/george2/"Before and After"/. I would assume the scripts can be tailored for any needs. Summarize 7 years of installing and customizing Fedora experiences. Lines in red are usable on any existing Linux system as commands in root prompt with immediate, visible results in improving speed (needs rebooting or restarting Chrome).

Here in this screenshot you can see with the file manager myramdisk created using one line in a script which can be also done via terminal command.

As for removing ads with hosts file in Windows using one command line. You can go to Start and type cmd.exe and choose to run as an administrative account (will be prompted for the password) or follow the instructions here. Then go to the terminal window (the black one) and paste the command below as one line next to a prompt and hit enter. Your browser's speed is going to improve dramatically since it won't open any of the sites listed here http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.txt and you won't see the adds from those sites embedded in normal sites anymore but also will not be able to open the sites marked in google searches as adds anymore, pretty much similar with using an add blocker but without the overhead of installing an app. It is reversible, you can go and delete everything in the hosts file in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

2013 Elantra

Here starts the weekend story at the end of which would probably find out why Microsoft shares raised so much starting Wednesday this week. People could have been curious about why i wasn't writing about it anymore. It was a few weeks false hope mixed with despair waiting for a conclusion which didn't happened yet but almost. Cause we spent our last credit reserve to buy a car to replace the 24 years old Sentra.

So one day around the beginning of the month i a signed with Copart, a place where insurances sell cars they bought for customers after reimbursing them the whole market value of the car. I know it sounds strange but here's how it happens. The car gets wrecked and the cost of repair is over the cost of the market value of the car. In which case the owner can't say anything if he is paid that value. Usually with that money the owner can get from a dealer a similar car. Though i don't believe it is 100% moral or equivalent cause buying a used car involves a great deal of stress especially since you don't know how the ex owner took care of. It could probably work with people who don't care much about their cars. Like the owner of this car i bought from auction. The battery was not replaced at the recommended year interval. At 5 years of battery age you could not start it again after it was jump started and run it for an undetermined interval of time. Throttle body was supposed to be cleaned at 30,000 miles on owner's expense but wasn't. At 35 it wasn't and had a hesitation and i cleaned it 3 times, twice with alcohol and once with CRC and finally gut rid of all the gunk built in there.

What happens is car's got an electronic throttle, without cable and a step motor instead. The step motor's power is limited. The computer knows how to open the injectors based on the position of the throttle (and other sensors). When the throttle is almost closed or pedal barely touched like most of the time the dirt counts for a significant amount of opening or extra closing to be more exact and engine gets less oxygen and more fuel contributing to bad mileage and overheating the catalytic converter. Also the dirt could cause the step motor to skip steps and be into a different position or hesitate to open. All these also translate into erratic driveability and bad mileage.

Also. There is no scheduled interval to service the brakes until this mileage. The brakes had a dead interval of about half inch. Which means you applied them and they won't react until you press about half inch. Then they would have a tendency of braking to hard or almost looking. A few days ago with the help of Angela who pressed the pedal i removed a single bubble of air in both front brakes, didn't have time for the rest. Brakes work now normally.

Also. At high speed it had the tendency of pulling both sides, depending on the state of the road (right now I5 between 217 and 205 is a mess in both ways. With deep grooves and now with extra grooves from removing the white markings because of the enlargement work). At the alignment they told me both front toe angles where out of specs, towards the exterior of the car. That is left wheel towards left and right to right.

There was a flat tire fixed with the kit the car had. Fixed that one for free at Les Schwab.

All these things dramatically decreased the driveability of the car and most likely contributed to the accident.

The car was initially sold at Copart by State Farm. On the windshield it had a C and a D which means was on lane C at the first sale and on D at the second. Lane D i think is for vehicles that are driveable and usable or in top shape (for a place like Copart).

The car initially had been in a fender bender which broke the left headlight and slightly bent the hood. There is a few mm misalignment between hood and fenders barely visible. Obviously not visible in the picture above and not by us when we went there at Copart location in North Portland saw it. Also saw a lot of cars that day.

But whoever bought the car the first time from State Farm fixed it partially. That is he put a headlight in there and made it look like it had not been in a wreck. Which worked for us. Than he put it back in the auction with of course the intention to make some money of it. Because the letter C from the windshield was never erased but just put in parenthesis it is possible the car was never taken out of the lot but fixed there and all paperwork faked.

Copart has some qualifications for each car. Probably not legally binding since the cars are sold "as is" and without any warranty. However misleading since you see a car that is qualified with "minor dents and scratches" and in reality had been hit and with mechanical problems and partially repaired. Qualifications that are shown on all the other cars.

We went to see the car about a week before the day of the auction. I remember there was a funny sweet smell brought on the lot by the wind in that day. Some Arab guy asked me a question. When i got home we went and bought Teryaki and had a severe dysphagia episode (the kind that brought me to ER a couple of times but never checked in).

The auction itself took place on 4/4. I added some money on my Copart account. (For each thousand dollars you bid except for the first you have to have 100 dollars deposit). In that day Angela took some hours from work and we both had the pleasure to bid at the first ever online auction in our lives.

It was very similar with a video game at the Casino. You would see the amount raising as people bid by clicking their mice in different location of the world. There was some repetitive music and comments. Finally got to "our" car. After passing a certain amount, i think 3000, it was only me and somebody from Alaska bidding (yes you can bid from out of state and other countries and have the car delivered). That guy was bidding because he had not seen the car. Me because i haven't seen it enough and certainly was not thinking of buying it in the moment i saw it. I won the auction at 3450. With Copart fees of which the biggest is "Internet Bidding Fee" around 800 for that value and other fees total price should had been 4150. But a few hours later i got an email from Copart saying the owner had raised the price with 900. That is because again the car had a qualification on it saying "on approval" which means the seller has to approve the final price. Kinda goes against any idea of auction i particpated in the past, in fact only one. So the seller rose the price 900 after basically winning the auction which i did not accept. To my surprise, got a few more emails from Copart saying the owner had made new offers, lowering the price in the end to 150 dollars more than final bid which i accepted. With Copart fees it bought the car at 4325 dollars or something like that can't remember the exact amount to dollars.

In that day i went to Copart to see the car i didn't look really close to it cause wasn't thinking seriously of buying it. Cause i would have seen:

The battery was dead.

There was a broken headlight and windshield reservoir in the trunk.

The engine was making a ticking sound.

The paint on the hood was corroded by boiled coolant.

There was a C and a D on the windshield (The guy from Alaska would have seen that in the pictures too if he knew what it meant. I guess not. Both C and D are not visible in the pictures).

I brought the car home in the Friday after the auction. That is April 6. In that morning i first drove myself to Copart and paid. They say they can arrange towing for 52 bucks but next week (later i saw it was for 152). I decided to drive the car home in that day.

After buying insurance, a permit from DMV (which was initially wrote with the wrong VIN number). The guy from insurance signed it for liability only and asked him to upgrade it. When he heard the car was totaled he hesitated but in the end he hand-wrote on the initial offer "upgraded to comprehensive and collision" and initialized. Later the paperwork came in the mail with liability only. (After a show last Friday with the owner of the agency and telling him my Sentra was totaled when i bought it and paid full coverage since 1999 until i decided a few years ago to go liability only because the car was not worth it he changed his mind and gave me full coverage for about 80 dollars a month which is a great rate. Don't know if there's any catch yet).

Angela drove me there in the afternoon or i drove with her (can't remember i was very tired from not sleeping enough that night). At Copart a guy drove the car outside the lot and let it running which seemed odd. Angela said she saw some white smoke coming out of the tailpipe which i didn't. For some reason i stopped the engine. I was amazed by the number of options and button and lights and indicators the car had. And the look. Our newest car (truck) is since 98.

Then when i wanted to restart it and it wouldn't. Then i dared and popped the hood and saw it  was missing coolant. Oil looked ok. I added some water and asked the same guys in there to give me a jump start figuring the battery was dead both by age and sitting unused for a winter in the auction lot.

That worried me a bit thinking i have to drive it home with almost no battery having an electrical power steering (EPS). However i did it. But when i started driving it i first heard a noise at the engine.

However it was too late. I came home and checked coolant again. In the radiator it was low again. I noticed by feeling the radiator's hose that softened too soon after i stopped the engine. It should hold pressure for at least about 10 minutes. (I know this trick from mechanics i went to who would check the hose by squeezing in hand before opening the radiator's cap. My car holds pressure for about 3 minutes only.)

The exhaust has a strange smell of ammonia. Could it be the newer cats, or the combination of unburnt fuel from burning reach and small amounts of coolant. Something DEQ or sensors on your car don't even search for. http://www.cnn.com/2000/fyi/real.life/12/18/car.pollution/

Had trouble restarting it. Jumped started it several times before deciding to buy a battery from the dealer (cause the last one i bought one at NAPA leaks so i decided to take no chances with the EPS).

I was driving the car around to see how it does. I even went to the casino a couple of times. In the mean time i realized the noise was from the front of the engine. I replace the belt which had two indentations probably from a foreign object than from jumping. I tried to remove the water pump pulley but there is not enough room between the engine and the frame to do so. However reinstalling the pulley i noticed the wobble was much smaller. But the next day would come back. I did that several times.

In the mean time i read about noises and figured it might be a piston slap. About two weeks ago i ordered an endoscope from Amazon for about 12 buck. That is a small camera with a USB connector that can go inside a cylinder and take pictures. The camera came two weekends ago but i haven't use it until last Sunday. I haven't seen any scoring of the cylinders due to piston slap. I was intrigued by the strange shape of the pistons with valve relief indentations and the fact pistons were made of cast iron instead of aluminum. The whole engine is made of aluminum with cast iron sleeves inside cylinders.

But first think i saw was a drop of oil on one of the pistons. That came right out of the thread of the spark plug in cylinder number one after i removed it. There was oil in the spark plug compartment i don't know from where. Spark plug number one had zero torque on it while the others were very loose. So i took several pictures from inside the cylinders, cleaned the spark plugs and put them back until the next day when i bought NGK irridium only (no laser welded) which have a more irregular shape of the tip.



Most of the ticking noise that was from an exhaust leak in cylinder number 1 was gone. I was quite happy after finding that oil and that loose spark plug thinking my troubles are gone. But i was wrong. Original spark plugs where NGK irridium laser which are good for up to 80 thousand miles. I put in NGK irridum (only) which are 8 bucks a piece expected to work up to 50 thousand miles. But i could not find on the internet the right gap. Original ones were gaped between 38 and 40 mills so i gaped the new ones at 36. However i found out later at the dealer that the specs are 39 to 44. Can't remove to re-gap them cause the built in washers are one use only. The smaller gap accounts for a delay in timing which means worse mileage.


The serpentine belt i replaced in the few days after getting the thing. It had two indentations from two foreign objects. One that passed between the belt and water pump pulley. The other that passed on the other side of the belt between the belt and crankshaft pulley. Both pulley are wobbling a few tenth of mm. That is enough to vibrate the AC compressor to the point of getting the connectors loose and start a leak.

But there's more. I think the belt jumped from the pulleys. The engine might have been run without water pump rotating for a few minutes until boiled and corroded the paint on the hood. Though only on the outside. There is nothing on the inside. With that and the constant disappearing of coolant today i reviewed the pictures i took the other Sunday. And guess what i found in two of them.



The green spots in the lower side of the first picture and middle of the second could be none but coolant.

But there is a whole story with the pictures too. I bought the endoscope which is a tiny camera with LEDs and the end of an USB cable from Amazon being advertised as working with Android which it didn't. But it worked with Windows. So i put the all in one Angela's computer on top of the engine and through the spark plug holes took the pictures. But it was sunny that day and didn't see much on the screen outside. Then i looked at the pictures inside but not at all of them and only looking for cylinder scoring. I didn't see in three of the pictures there was coolant on top of the piston.

Now i figured what would have happened at Copart after coolant leaked in significant amounts inside of a cylinder after staying there for a while. When they started it they might have bent a valve because coolant acted as a hydraulic fluid when engine was turned to be started. But i don't hear any valve ticking with the stethoscope. Only injectors.

Also each morning i start the car the water pump is wobbling severely and makes a noise. If i loosen the belt and all four connecting screws of the pulley and tighten everything back again the vibration is brought to a minimum.

Today i went to several places with the pictures on a tablet. They gave me estimates for a head gasket which would be broken in order for the coolant to leak in there. Starting at 600 and ending with 12 to 18 hundred at the dealer (in case there's a bent valve). It's not that bad but when thinking about the water pump and possibly the crankshaft itself bent for the short distance outside the engine, i don't know. It looks like i got myself in big trouble.

Today when i looked at the pictures and copied them on the tablet i saw the location is... Microsoft One drive. It looks Windows 10 generously moves files from your computer without asking in the cloud from where they can be seen by anybody with a password. And Angela does not have a very strong password for her Microsoft account.

Yesterday i went to Hyundai dealership in Beaverton and changed oil and also serviced the AC. There was a puddle of oil from AC on a plastic cover and the screws from the connector to the compressor showed traces of being turned with tools. When i left the car was sluggish. This morning had a few misfires and i hear new ticks all the way to the bottom of the engine. I think they did things to make that engine worse. Now when i accelerate i hear a bit of misfires. Maybe filled a cylinder with oil and bent some valves which can be blamed on the starting at Copart wth coolant in a cylinder. Just to make it break soon and cover other Hyundai specific defects.

I think the recall with the thing in the brake pedal is to cover the problem of air bubbles in the braking system. They are changing a little plastic thing behind the brake pedal. In reality they are airing the brakes real quick.

There are two technicians there i talked to. Dan and Brandon. Brandon took care of the car yesterday and Dan today was nervous and kinda hostile when i showed him the pictures with the inside of the cylinders.

While i was writing here the place got filled with some smoke that got me a bit high.

When i came back i talked to Angela and considered all options. One is to buy a new engine. When i talked to the dealer again to ask for a price they said they can't give me any cause the company they work with was closed at that time. When i asked for a wild interval or "order of magnitude" they put me on hold indefinitely.

While i was finishing writing above the end the place got filled with some sort of smoke making hard to concentrate. I just went outside for a walk and remembered. The type of the engine. But it's not only this episode that is a set up. I remember the day i drove to Steve, owner of Lucky Autobody where i went with my vehicles for the last ten years with my hands full of foam that i could not clean. I was holding my both hands crossed on the steering wheel and they looked like mummy wrapped when i was waiting at the red light on TV Highway in Beaverton in front of City Hall when a guy passed the red light just to have the camera started and get a picture of me. A few days later i first saw the Gangnam style video on youtube. He was holding his hands the same way i did a few days before when riding an imaginary horse. For a while now i believe Psy and Kim whatever are the same persons.

Also the guy upstairs and at least the woman at Apt.9 here looks Korean.

Daewoo was also present in Romania for a number of years with a factory. Craiova is knwon in Romania as being the center of far right. In 1995 just before i came here i went in Bucharest to a meeting of reverend Moon dragged in there by and ex High Shcool class mate, the guy who looked like Travolta.



"This vehicle is being sold as is where is".

That includes the description for primary damage, MINOR DENTS AND SCRATCHES, secondary damage, none? There are many other cars in there with damage descriptions like MECHANICAL PROBLEMS, FRONT, REAR, PARTIAL REPAIRS etc. The car was first sold from State Farm to Copart then some guy bought it, partially repaired on the spot and reintroduced it in the auction. Copart new about the initial damage and partial repairs but did not disclose them.

Just went to Multnomah County site where the address of Copart 6900 NE Cornfoot Drive, Building 1, Portland, OR 97218 belongs thinking about downloading forms for small claims court. However i feel discouraged to continue. Lately this whole area including Portland feels like under occupation. What do i want with a small claim when there are such problems going on.

On 04/21 i finally used by borescope camera that arrived about on week before in the mail.

I took several images, looking for cylinder scoring from possible piston slap. I didn't find any of those though. Besides seeing coolant drops on the pistons (pictures above) there were other things in those pictures i ignored. Signs of the piston hitting the valve. Signs of oil on the pistons.


Over the weekend and almost 1000 miles later i took more pictures from inside the cylinders and intake manifold. Old oil dried on the spark plug seat. More signs of piston hitting a valve.

In the mean time more people told me the passenger door was painted. That means the impact from the accident was bigger than i thought. With nobody on the passenger sit side airbag was deactivated by the sensor so it did not blow. None of the 4 airbags was deployed.

Conclusion. During the accident the timing belt jumped. That lead to pistons hitting valves. That bent the valves and caused wear of the valve guides and leaked oil into the cylinder. Valve timing being off intake valves were closed by the pressure during expansion cycle and exhaust with oil from valve guides leaking flew into the intake where it can be seen. (Got more pictures on a phone done also yesterday).

Good news is i realized in time and will not drive it anymore. Further damage could break or bend the pistons and seize the engine. If driving on high speed at that time that could lead to loosing control of the car.

I don't believe anymore i have a jumped chain and the pistons are hitting the valves. In the pictures is just hot gases blowing the oxidation and/or carbon deposit out of the top of the pistons that seem to be made of cast iron instead of aluminum. That is happening because after all the maintenance work i've done so far the engine started to burn more normally and is burning the carbon deposits.

The noise i hear could come from a sticky or bent valve on cylinder nr.1. To make sure, further tests are necessary. Just in case the valve is sticky due to carbon deposits i also added some Lucas injector cleaner additive that is supposed to help do clean those and the injectors.
