1:05 Smoke in here is beyond any limit, almost unbearable inside, and i've done everything i could as far as plugging holes. The whole space between buildings is filled with it and it got inside due to vibrations from a distant train. As long as they were noises upstairs it was better but i think they left and the smoke level rose. And i lost my flashlight and can't go outside to see more holes.

Începând din 1999 Tratatul Schengen nu mai există ca tratat separat ci a devenit un protocol, parte integrantă din Tratatul de Aderare al României (împreună cu alte 10 țări) aprobat de Consiliu în unanimitate în 2002 și ratificat de toate țările UE până la 1 ianuarie 2007. Cu alte cuvinte, România a devenit membru Schengen din 2007, cu necesitatea îndeplinirii unor condiții care trebuiau constatate de Comisie, care este partea legislativă.

De aceea așa zis-ul vot al Consiliului pentru aderarea Croației nu a fost un vot legislativ și nu are nici o valoare juridică. Dacă vă uitați în agenda cu votul respectiv veți vedea că a fost programat în secțiunea ne-legislativă a întâlnirii. Nu a modificat cu nimic tratatul de aderare și apartența Croației la Schengen, ci și-a abrogat rolul executiv al Comisiei, constatând îndeplinirea condițiilor care în cazul României erau îndeplinite din 2011.

Nu va mai exista niciodată un vot legislativ în Consilu pentru aderarea României fiindcă acest vot a fost exercitat înainte de semnarea Tratatului în 2003.

Tomac nu trebuia să dea în judecată Consiliul pentru acesta și-a făcut treaba. Trebuia să dea în judecată Comisia pentru ne-aplicarea Protocolului Schengen din Tratatul de Aderare ceea ce înseamnă ne-aplicarea aquisului.

În Noiembrie 2022, după 11 ani de ne-aplicare, Comisia și-a declinat compentența aplicării aquis-ului.

Conform acestui șirag de argumente dintr-o pagină a enormului site sau mai bine zis grupul de site-uri ale UE, tratatul din 2003 care a intrat în forță în 2007 după un lung proces de aprobări și ratificări nu putea fi semnat fără votul unanim al Consiliului care trebuia să fi avut loc cândva înainte de semnare în 2003.

Pe atunci agendele Consiliului arătau altfel, nu aveau o secțiune legislativă și ne-legislativă, care pare o invenție recentă menită să ascundă faptul că nu mai era nevoie de un vot în Consiliu în cazul celor 3 țări restante. În general voturile ne-legislative sunt treaba Comisiei și nu a Consiliului.

Nu găsesc, oricât aș încerca, agenda votului Consiliului care trebuia să fi avut loc înainte de semnare în 2003 însă a avut loc căci semnarea Tatatului nu se putea face fără acesta.

The idea (hypothesis) is there are channels that can be opened between people (such as lovers), maybe one to many, maybe one way only (do not look in the eyes) and i think those channels once open like by seeing a video early in the morning, can be hijacked by a third party.

4:00 I could say more on the subject but don't want to get weirder than this for now and i'd like to share with you something i just found out.

Much of the stuff that's happening to us and may throw our lives out of normal is the bacteria and mold that's living inside the empty spaces in the interior walls and between upstairs floor and your ceiling and that can be relatively easily cured with an ozone generator. Need to find a closet or space where there are cracks or openings that are communicating with that space that is usually all linked together because of pipes passages. One good place to look is the space around pipes under the sink and install it there.

But usually there is some space between the fan box in the bathroom and the ceiling and the fanbox itself may leak when the fan works into the space between ceiling and upstairs floor or attic feeding the space with nutrients like your own dead skin flakes present in house dust. Install the ozone generator in the bathroom and close the door. It would be a bit uncomfortable to go in there i know. Leave it on as much as you can.

Careful cause the ozone even in low concentrations is harmful to eyes and lungs but you usually can feel it after a day or so and adjust time and settings. Ozone is very reactive (oxidizing) and combines with everything, killing mold and bacteria, and neutralizes sulfur dioxide that emanates from drywall panels, etc..

Another way is to use the ozone generator on high settings when you leave the house but will need a timer so it would stop at least one hour before you get back home. Usually in all american homes there is space between floor and the wall where you can stick a finger, around plugs etc.. and the ozone will get inside the walls through that space.

Got this one that also has a negative ion generator and let it run for half day in the bathroom, every few days on ozone mode and continuously rest of the time in the living on ion generator mode.

The negative ion generator puts in the air obviously negative ions LOL that are attracted by the dust that is usually positively charged, making dust particles heavier and fall to the ground where they attach to carpet and stuff and never raise back up except when vacuum cleaning. It is so much better to breath cleaner air and have the dust on the carpet. I think it works better than any filter i tried over the years.

However mine doesn't have a timer for ozone like this one and cannot be shipped to California, i think none of them can because of the... ozone LOL.

Will see first results in about a week. Lower bacterial load especially in your guts will give a break to your still young immune system and brain and your mind will be clearer. But when you get older the stuff will start to permanently infect your organs giving you what doctors call arthritis.

But if you see big spaces around pipes under the sink or around plugs on big appliances or between floor and walls, you should know you are in danger because of insulation dust that may come especially from exterior walls that are filled with mineral insulation (rock wool). Try and stick everything you can like rags in those spaces. Insulation dust is irritant and painful and has weird psychological effects, especially when combined with bacteria and other stuff.

Most of the dust is released upon vibrations from big speakers or modified exhausts outside but also steps upstairs.

One good indication you are dealing with environmental issues like these is stomach pain. Dust is being continuously eliminated from your lungs into your stomach and guts.

Many antidepressants work as pain killers, allergy relief etc. and that could be their only benefit (by dealing with the effects of that dust). That's why you become extremely sleepy and lethargic when you start those or when you get out of that environment like going into a much better built hospital. But that could be your normal that is not exciting anymore.

8:00 Still stinking like gasoline at 8 AM on Monday. Much better with the filter next to entrance. I think Angela slept less than 3 hours mostly because of the guys upstairs and works ten hours today. Outside it stopped stinking though the car is still on a jack. Gasoline smell kinda mixed and penetrated carpet and everything and now competing with the old dog poop smell in the apartment.

So it is doable for a hacker to make the necessary "adjustments" so everything you talk in the car to be heard or streamed via the internet.

11:34 Solved the mystery where the gas smell was coming from. It was not the Chrysler. They where (i think they still are) a couple of puddles of gasoline at the spot belonging to Apt.1. Though it's odd cause the puddles where pretty far apart.

Took one picture, was thinking to take one more when i come back from my walk. Cut my walk short, came back and saw a cop entering the first entrance in the building C east of the mailboxes.

I had my camera in my hand but i knew a Police car should be nearby so i gave up (don't want to take pictures of those while cops are in mission or in general). However i didn't see any Police vehicle, just a white SUV parked next to the mailboxes but i delayed taking the picture and saw the cop getting into that one. White, unmarked, Interceptor, probably Sheriff. Would have been in the direction where i wanted to take the second one.

1:00 I wasn't only drunk, i was out of my mind. Literally. The smell of gasoline for days, lack of quality sleep, stress, the 2 hour drive in smoke, sometimes weird smoke, a few glasses of wine that i think also had a smoke component from wildfires, hurry to get things done, too many unsorted things pressing on my mind.

I think my brain got too old to accommodate all these, like a young guy. But i've done things like these since i was a kid. Colossal gaffes usually when the unexpected overwhelms me.
In grade school they used to call me "distracted" but in Romanian it has a slightly different meaning than in English. It means having your mind somewhere else.

I think it is a way to cope with sometimes unbearable stress and trauma. Like when i have to drive 80 miles in smoke and  hostile environment from other drivers though is the boredom that kills me most of the time and then i let my mind fly away which brings me a type of fulfillment (feel good neurotransmitters) that allow me to continue.

I do many other routine things this way. Always thinking of something else because it makes me feel better. But yeah, it can happen this way. You think of something else and that pops right in front of you and you can't recognize it however your subconscious does and carries a bit of a conversation that way, with the weirdest effects.

One of the most traumatic things is having to think hypothetically because it consumes a lot of brain power. Like coming to a different country and not knowing the language and culture and having to take in consideration when talking to somebody every possibility. Internet, learning the many expressions should have made it easier to me but in the end i sort of lost drive, and that is mostly because what i discovered and put in my other blog. Keep asking myself if it's worth it. And then the prize unexpected refreshment.

But that sort of intellectual effort and hypothetical thinking and constant inquiring could have been the reason i discovered the big switcheroo (see the other blog).

1:13 Yiddish ("jüdisch"), a misterious language that until today i thought it was derived from German. So they did themselves and everybody. But today i don't think so anymore.

If the Indo European theory is true and all European (and Indian) languages derive from a single one which is probably Sanskrit it means all those languages have to have some Sanskrit words in them.

But the weirdest part and due to uniqueness of the situation i can't find another example or model throughout history, each derived language kept a different set of recognizable words from it. Yeah i was talking once on the phone with a linguist and he went a bit sarcastic and told me like yeah, you can't understand this.

So here is a major difference between German and Yiddish. Right in the first verse of the folk song.

Unfortunately i don't know any of the two languages though when i was a kid i heard my grandparents, other people speaking German all the time. Could be this behind the drive for me to learn English which is not so far from German, when i had a chance. Could be neural pathways that were dug in my subconscious at the time that helped me with learning it. German and Jewish culture still present in Bucovina where i lived until 14.

However i can recognize some words and phrases, and from a few searches i realized Yiddish is not a very  "cared for" languages, with several types of Latin transliteration. But here is a sample of an English version of the song next to the Yiddish one and i can see Yiddish is not German.

7:27 They decided it was time for me to wake up. Here's a dedication for them.

I had a neighbor in Bacău who looked exactly like Yoko Ono in this picture though she was supposed to be 25 or 30 or something. But i once said and can't find it right now is the Japanese woman narrator in this documentary about Yoshiwara is also her. Just like "Alexa" who in reality is 46 years old, is married to a musician (who was playing guitar in the live band at 7 feathers) and has 2 children.

8:35 Do you know what ozone smells like? The sparks inside the electric motor of the coffee grinder make ozone.

A while ago i bought an ozone/negative ion generator. But i wasn't careful, the generator is way too big for this apartment, is for industrial settings or maybe casinos, 4500 ft at maximum setting. Even at the lowest, is too much for the apartment. Yesterday i got really pissed off with the smells around here and let it on all day at the lowest but shut it down when around midnight.

When i woke up this morning it was still stinking in here like ozone. I think i ended the smoke smell by pouring Quikrete mixed with soil in the mole? holes next to basement. I started the bathroom fan and walked outside for a second and this time, and after being cleared out of other smells except ozone i realized outside it was smelling like sewage. I knew about that smell but never made the connection.

I know once i had the fan on and saw air flowing from a whole in the wall under sink. Which means there's a leak in the 4 inch flexible pipe at the bathroom fan. Leaks that when the fan is on pressurizes the walls and space between ceiling and floor, some 2 ft high empty space.

Once i stop the bathroom fan there's no more sewage smell outside. Which means the space between ceiling/upstairs floor, the walls, is filled with sewer gas. And when they step like this on the wooden floor, they actually pump it inside here. Instant. On demand.

So what i've done is i moved the ozone generator in the bathroom, set it on max and started the fan and now when i check outside there's less and less sewer smell.

I don't know exactly where the sewer gas is coming from. It could be only from that leak, that is when i start the fan after i use the bathroom. It could be from their toilet seat. I don't know but after almost 40 minutes of running the bathroom fan with the room saturated with ozone, the smell started to cleas outside.

While i was checking and opening the door several times, they did the trick with the morning sleeping kid. They brought a sleeping kid in a gray Toyota or Honda or something, stopped in the middle of the alley and started the lengthy and complicated procedure of unstrapping the kid and taking it in an apartment in building D that took like 5 minutes time in which i opened the door like 3 times.

I will repeat the procedure with the ozone and bathroom fan a couple of times to see if it clears the smell completely, if not it means there's another leak at the toilet seat.

10:10 Just called State Farm, they said the added Angela, the person i spoke with said the person i spoke yesterday is not there yet and he doesn't know why their email with the new card and policy didn't get to me yet.

7:15 Today was the biggest amount of smoke here in the last years. Found and plugged one hole next to the concrete patio. Then i tried to air but i think there's more coming from somewhere else. When there's smoke like this it's quiet, upstairs and everywhere. I never meet on person when i go to plug holes. As soon as it's over, they come upstairs through the attic and probably from outside the building to keep selves unexposed.

The "patients" who become females most often cannot have an orgasm due to low testosterone, they will have to temporarily take testosterone for that but will still be difficult because their organ is not intact. Not to talk about surgeries that can go go wrong.

Gender dysphoria or the desire to look and behave like a person of opposite sex is an illness most often caused by trauma. You don't treat a mental illness by fulfilling their trauma fueled fantasies by irreversibly mutilating the patient.

More than that parents can be coerced into it by financial and other means.

1:10 Was our beloved Beau de l'Aire on absinthe when he wrote the poem? I don't know, maybe only when the ideas hit him, i know it takes sobriety to do such a job. I will try to work a decent translation until tomorrow though the guy upstairs just hit me with a kami of smoke and one of dust. And the coincidence. He is the only French poet i ever read from, except one or two fables by Jean de la Fontaine.

This poem now almost translated, features one of the most famous important quotes of all times. "The Art is long and The Time is short". However a major in Art or French only takes a few years (if you have your own money or win a scholarship, i don't get any stats from google, i don't know how many people are reading this) while doctors in the US work like slaves. 3:30 Other business. That i can remember from the long list today. They scheduled an empty cistern to pass right in front of me at the stop light in Lincoln City. One more black truck with no LPN in front or rear and was too dark to even see the brand, passed after that one. So i got to drive behind those too all the way to the first passing zone which is in the middle of the forest with no other traffic.

The cistern went on the right though (as usually) accelerated and the black truck passed it, slowly and i passed both but i think the truck accelerated after got into my blind spot when i changed lanes cause the passing zone was ending anyways.

It was no small surprise when i saw it in the mirror ft or even inches away, right after making me thinking the surprise could have been much bigger, like finding myself in a rolling vehicle with broken limbs after in an area with nu much traffic and far from hospitals.

The guy tried to stay behind, i slowed, he accelerated, i matched speed, wanted to see at least the brand of the truck but guess what. At Spirit Mountain, i stayed behind in an area with more light to let him pass and take a good look, but he pulled... inside the casino area. Then he casually went to pick someone and it was  the perfect situation to go and see the guy but Angela didn't let me to. Now i think he could have simulated a road rage incident and do whatever.

At food court. Angela had a coupon, bought one fish and chips which at that hour was enough for both. They gave us a pager and we were waiting when i saw something really weird at the check stand. They were two stacks with pagers figuring two towers and somehow they got synchronized and they were flashing all one after another creating the illusion of light moving upwards.

Then i remembered what i saw in Lincoln City. Angela went inside, i am banned and not interested to appeal that decision. Tried to go for a walk, changed my mind, went to Grocery Outlet, was with my mind somewhere else like usually and grabbed a 6 gallons box with Crystal Geyser (we did that many times, and bought water from that store). The store now was moved and i asked the cashier why, i thought because of the tower that was in their lot but now they had a bigger one on the hill across the street, and she said no, for a different reason.

Forgot to get the only decent brand of bone broth which BTW has many benefits in any healing process, i started to climb stairs again with no pain after a severe tendinitis at the knees, the results are visible after one serving and a day passed, got instead some soda and nuts and went at Roads End round about, accidentally saw the sunset, then some cars moved, i was the last in line, i advanced and now i could see the hill and on the highest position and tallest building i saw a fire on a roof.

Those are now gone and instead there is only the more recent ADA questionnaire Angela had to give to her doctor last Friday that basically when returned said she is disabled by ADA definitions. However we have downloaded them. However doctor said Angela may recover from her foot problems within a month which we think is possible and the lifting limitation to 20 pounds never changed in 5 years while the company accepted it, until recently when they asked her to do a job lifting more than 40 pounds.

However walking more than 5000 ft or one mile every day without rotating every few days or the way that work station was manned before her is not acceptable by any standard, disabled or not. She did that for more than one year and a half, and that started her feet problem.

10:29 Almost got in a few accidents until i got at Kaady Carwash, including one red Nissan that pulled from the spot right in front of me on the alley. Went to grab another one, the WinCo brand decaf was missing, Nestle is 10 bucks, but when i looked in my pocket i realized i had no wallet. Ran back to the service desk, they said i never pulled one there, went at the truck and  there it was. Sitting on the ground next to truck. The wallet is so worn out can barely distinguish it from the asphalt. Due to effect of bullying at Kaady and mesmerized by the dance, i forgot to put the wallet back in my pocket and it fell to the ground when i got out of the truck (can't explain it otherwise).

At Walmart. Grabbed the last one on the shelf. Their own brand decaf, 4 dollars something. I tastes the same as Nestle or any brand. That's why it's going so fast. But it made me nervous since it was the last one. (What if it's the same?). Went to the batteries to look for a cheap one to try my experiment to solder a bolt to terminals before i buy a more expensive one that fits my car. A tall good looking guy was cornering me there, for cameras.

At sodas, a little scene. A short, needy woman yelled asking for help to grab a soda from upper shelf. I was hesitating since her and her cart was right under. At cookies there was a woman, stocking. I risked a question. What do you got for sugar free cookies i asked. Free? She replied.

4:12 Done with re-changing oil. Couldn't cut the filter, couldn't see any aluminum foil on the intake side, some of the filter is visible through some holes, but i found one piece, about 2mm diameter, on the gauge that was sitting on the grill wrapped in napkins. Sifted all the oil i pulled off the engine, couldn't find any more. Maybe the're sitting there on the bottom of the pan or in the folds of the filter though the rubber hose i used to vacuum the oil from the engine was touching the bottom of the oil pan, bringing out some sludge, about the same amount like last time. Some of the clips of the splash guards were loose and i replaced them. I figured the rumble was coming from those, even at idle.

11:40 As i said earlier in an audio recording, in Lincoln City i remembered i took pictures from where the oil filter goes. One of them shows what appears to be a piece of that aluminum seal about to enter the filter though stuck in there. It is impossible for me to have broken the seal. In fact i remember now i saw it still there when i put the cap back on the jug. It is impossible not to have seen it in the stream of oil when i poured it because i didn't use a funnel and looked all the time not to loose direction which i didn't. I really don't see how could have passed the oil passages from top of the engine to bottom. As i said, at Jiffy Lube i saw one of the guys who looked like David Copperfield briefly removing the oil cap. They must have gotten in here first, the jug was inside but next to the door, while Angela went into the other room. Or replaced it while it still was outside and me was cleaning the valve cover from drops of oil and re-inserting the gauge, while the alarm was flashing on the building across. Today i poured Quaker State, full synthetic (recommended by Hyundai, didn't find it at Walmart that day and got Mobile 1) and this one does not have any seal. The guys at Jiffy Lube didn't want to charge me for chaning the stuck filter (was mine) or for the bulb, a 10 dollars value. They didn't charge me period.12:00 I saw fireworks all the way from Lincoln City to here which was nice however starting with Hillsborough air started to be hazy. First i thought it was fog, but then i realized it was smoke from fireworks. With stagnant air (no wind blowing at all) the smoke stays, and when i started the computer i saw (have air quality index page on one of the browser's starting page) index was 180, like during wildfires, with all major cities on West Coast in the same situation or worse. It looks like someone stopped the wind just for me everybody to see me how patriotic the hikikomori who inhabit the West Coast as Mexicans are.

2:17 I woke up at 1 AM with digestive pains. Today i installed the AC and forgot to clean the screens from dust and the AC blows (and aspires) through the sliding door screen and i've been breathing the irritant dust (redwood, granite from the screen which of course ends up in stomach when it clears the lungs). I stayed awake for two hours and i had no smoke problems at all. It looks like they have an algorithm, as soon as i started to post, the room filled with cigarette smoke from my neighbor who smokes on the patio of Apt. Nr.2.

I am very satisfied with my Samsung Chromebook. It charges in one hour, lasts up to ten. It is very fast, it loads Chrome browser in one second, plays videos seamlessly, no lag when typing, etc.. However i was complaining of pains in my legs and belly especially after i went at Indian Head casino where they have a very strong wi-fi that can be used from the parking lot. And the signal has to be strong both ways since the laptop sends requests or the text you are typing etc. back to the router.

After my PC went out (power supply) and i didn't want to fix it, i bought a USB hub that allows me to use the chromebook as a PC, by connecting a monitor, keyboard and mouse to it. I was keeping it under desk at my left foot and it is there where i started to have burning pains. Then, i started to have pains in different spots of my legs, belly, etc..

Today i was tuning my guitar with an online in browser tuner from a site and i accidentally put the laptop of top of the guitar and i noticed a weird sound in the amplifier. Yes i know the amplifier cannot amplify those frequencies but sub-harmonics and modulations. Then i tried with the phone but the sound was much less. For now i found a tray (the kind for baking turkeys in the oven) and i use it like that. Thing is the wi-fi which basically uses microwaves at a frequency close to microwave ovens, has automatic settings depending on the distance and if the thing gets hacked the setting can stay permanent at highest. I don't know exactly how much power a wi-fi is supposed to use or what is the hardware limitation though i suspect is specific to brands and manufacturers. Most sites say 100 mW but some go as high as 6 watts. We can fairly assume the emitter in the phone is punctiform.

However the limitations imposed for leaks at microwave ovens go much lower than that. Does that make any sense to anybody who reads this?

This can't be happening, for of a number of reasons, one of them, nobody is that stupid, and i think they could have done something to get out. It's part of the same type of mass killings, when we can't see in the news images with blood on the streets or dead bodies which means it only happens in the media. It looks similar with the recent Ukrainian mall bombing and many other news brought to us by CNN or Fox from Ukraine. Now the guy upstairs started the TV very loud which cancels my thoughts, yelled in Spanish etc., cause i always think of the new paragraph when i write one. Ok i remembered. The reason this popped in the news right now is because of me saying the West Coast of the US is basically occupied by Japanese disguised in Mexicans who by my estimates are in the millions while Mexico itself is kept in a state of terror with the so called drug wars so they can't say nothing (and nobody cares in the US like about Ukraine which is well presented in media).

California, Crescent Bay

Kalama, Cowlitz, Kalapuya, Camas, Clackamas, Klamath. All ancient Native American toponyms on US west Coast with an indisputable link with the root Kala or Kali. That may come from the Sanskrit name Kali or from Australian aboriginal word kylie, the name for the tool known as boomerang.

Klamath river is home of the California most populous tribe Karuk. Karu in Sanskrit means among others artisan, but we also have Kalika and Chamunda, other names of goddess Kali. And Kauravas.

In 1997 while working at Epson i started to have breathing trouble, severe insomnia and in the end hallucinations. Problem was caused by indoor pollution and me not breathing on my mouth when could not on my nose but could not figure that for the next 15 years. Pacific Gateway was specialized in treating drug addicts.

Pacific Gateway was closed @year 2000 and demolished after the doctors and nurses there called Police because they could not control a Mexican patient who was threatening them with a pen. So Police came and shot him once in head and once in chest. A similar situation happened in 2002-2003 at Woodland Park Hospital where i called 911 (112) from a payphone because i had difficulties breathing. In there, one of my doctors' name was Collier but my first doctor there was plainly Harrison Ford (together with his assistant, therapist Carrie Fisher). In January 13 2004 i went again to that hospital for one night and i was the only patient there. The hospital was closed in 2004 after doctors again called 911 to transfer a patient. But there was this picture reproduction on the wall outside my room at Pacific Gateway of a serigraph by painter Thomas McNight. It was representing what i thought it was a mythical place called Crescent Bay, with a fish in a basket hit by a trident and still trying to breath next to a breathing apparatus in form of infinity sign, and on the picture lower it was written with big letters Chalk and Vermillion (an art reproduction firm) New York. Every time i was reading that and obviously feeling like chocking all the time, i thought of how the word Vermillion means in Romanian viermele (the worm) and the name Ion, my last name.
21 years after, can't remember how, i figured Crescent Bay existed and at first opportunity i went to California, South of LA, a 1000 miles drive to see it. In that day water was warm and people were bathing in the bay, and we went and grabbed some bathing suits and went into the water. I had a body wide infection starting from teeth, and as soon as i got in the water i started to shiver. Then i saw this guy who looked familiar (Angela was binge watching the movie those days on Netflix or something), asked him a question, went into a conversation and told him the purpose of me being there. Then he told me to go in the water.

In the bay there were even two scuba divers, like in the painting, and on shore, about where that pool should have been, a woman was reading a book. A group of what i thought then were Arabs, though could have been Indians were watching something carefully, maybe counting waves.

Angela was sitting there in the shallow water on her knees, some 30 ft away from the shore when a freak wave came and pushed her 30 ft towards the shore in one second, leaving her with some wounds that turned into scars on her knees from rubbing against the sand for all that distance.

DEQ is road tax. Could not find the average car age in Oregon compared to Washington and California. What i could find is on West Coast cars are the oldest. Per several reasons i guess. One is salt free roads in winter. Another is there are more Asian cars on the roads which tend to be more reliable. Better mechanics, more conscious or nostalgic owners, lower income?

So could not find the reason Oregon is still calling for DEQ every two years which cost about 200 bucks while neighboring Washington and California gave up. Could this be one of the reasons I5 in Washington, especially southbound past Olympia is in such a bad shape.
