A big factor in fuel economy is the shape of the road and speed limit. When i go in the State of Washington on I5 which has a speed limit of 70 mph with an actual speed of 80 and very rough surface (some portions of it are 65 years old) approximately 10% less fuel economy than on a recently paved portion and the economy increases 10% more if my actual speeds drops to 70 or less. (use your dashboard mpg indicator).

40 mpg is achievable right now on freeways with a cheap car like Hyundai Elantra that features a 2.0 liter 150 HP Atkinson cycle engine on a good road and a speed under 65. 20 years ago nobody thought this would have been possible on a big Sedan. But this could not have been done without the CAFE laws enacted in 75.

Thing is he drops the orders with no warning or room for debate other that eventual courts blocks.

This "rolling back" from 50 to 35 mpg also means paying 30% more at the pump for next 5 or 10 years.

I was always intrigued with that statement and today i asked google AI what it means. Of course all it does the so called AI is quotes sites and sometimes informations on different sites are contradictory (and google AI cannot solve those contradictions yet) but i trust this as being true because it quotes USCIS though i cannot find that text in the USCIS site.

Renouncing allegiance to one's country is not compatible with being citizen of that country though they may be able to get a passport or even vote there after renunciation because there is no exchange of informations between governments as who did that pledge also because sometimes is not the best interest of all parties to do so.

Or some who do not understand what they repeated during the ceremony or do not speak enough English and mumbled may even believe they are citizens of both countries, 

So for the part of naturalized citizens in the US, the proposed law is redundant, there is no other need for them to chose.

So it may be for US citizens who become citizens in other country. This system with oath of allegiance and renunciation of old allegiances truly allows one to be citizen of only one country and thus the entire law is superfluous and a waste of time if accepted by the committees to be processed within US Congress.

Yeah i know this entry is very long also because i learned as i typed and googled. If i knew all these from the beginning it would have been one paragraph or two only.

In a way it all reminds me of the pledge of allegiance in kindergartens.

9:40 Today i bought among many other things a bottle of Maryhill Rosé at WinCo. Just googled, there is no other Maryhill Rosé. As i stated, Sunday Angela got a free "glass" (it was a clear plastic cup) of wine from a platter for staying in a line. She gave me a taste of it, i kinda liked it, and later i went to the bar and ordered some more. 

Though the bartender pretended he didn't know what wine was on that platter, he gave me something similar (he kept repeating Rosé). I was a bit disappointed cause it was less sweet, more bitter, but i drank it within the next half hour. Gave Angela to taste as she gave me in the first place.

But later i went and asked him to see the bottle and the woman on the left started to tell me a story like she worked for Maryhill and stuff. Though she looked very attractive and was smiling, i was pretty pissed, mainly because i worked all afternoon at the car and then i got "beamed" by a guy's phone at the bar etc..

When i asked where i could get some, first she said, here at the bar, and since i did not like the idea (it was 4 times the price at WinCo) she finally said i could get some in stores like Fred Meyer. She mentioned the Vancouver waterfront tasting room, "a 20 minutes (read miles) drive from  here" that was probably closed at that time.

However the wine i bought today at WinCo tasted similar to the one in the plastic jar Angela let me taste. The one at the bar was way more bitter and i remember i saw the bartender working at my glass more than he should have had, covered by a colleague, but not well enough for me not to see him handling another glass which he poured into mine.

The next day i figured the woman looked similar to...

No i never saw the winery at Maryhill mainly because in that day i was pissed with the "Fruit stand" idea, but Angela says there was one.

11:26 Ăștia nu iartă nimic din ce spun eu. Fiindcă am vorbit de "Nuți, spaima Constituți". Au dat pur și simplu foc la valiză un apartament pentru a crea asocieri negative subconștiente. Una chiar pe plan internațional! Parcă am zis ceva și de Băsescu.

Apropo de Nuți, am rămas cu o mare nelămurire. Despre ea scria Dinescu în poezia Cimitir cu fustă verde? O "iubire" neîmplinită de-a poetului? A și asta a fost anticipată, Doar pentru că m-am gândit și EI (adevărata AI care conduce toată simularea numită planeta Pământ) a anticipat că voi scrie.

Apropo de marea simulare. Da, se rescrie. Eu sincer n-aș vrea să fiu din generațiile tinere din România, cu vârste care nu le-au permis să vadă ce a fost înainte.

În cazul nostru avem de a face cu o mulțime de tâmpiți care scriau și acum își privesc opera în această oglindă sau memorie colectivă neiertătoare numită internet.

E antagonică atât cât poate fi de antagonică realitatea față de minciuna (mă rog, sistemul de minciuni) în care am trăit, trăim. Că unii (Trump) strâng rândurile și vor să se închidă într-o găoace protectoare în care să continue minciuna, treaba lor. Adevărul tragic și soluția la toată această ecuație este faptul că SUA este foarte falimentară, și a fost adusă aici intenționat, chiar de creatorii ei.

După 43 de zile de blocaj (închidere) guvernamentală, s-a votat a doua mărire a limitei (plafonului) datoriei externe numai anul acesta cu probabil încă 5 trilioane ajungând la un total de 10 într-un singur an (nu a spus încă nimeni în gura mare suma care se găsește undeva în cămara lui google, cine are chef poate să o caute, eu nu vreau să mă deprim și mai mult) crescând astfel datoria publică istorică cu 25% într-un singur an și deficitul pe anul acesta cam la același procent (din PIB, pe când noi ne văicărim de un imaginar 9%), iar unul din marii vinovați de această situație este chiar doctorul Faust Fauci.

Se spune că plătim abia acum prețul pandemiei. Scadențe la împrumuturi pe termen scurt contractate în pandemie (profitorii de pandemie). Cât de reale sunt toate aceste cifre însă eu mă îndoiesc.

Cuvinte ca filosofie, liberalism, nu-și mai au nici un sens în fața acestei realități copleșitoare. Și apropo de liberalism, care provine din cuvântul și conceptul liberal, în Statele Unite înseamnă ceva cu totul diferit de ce înseamnă în Europa.

Ca de exemplu, liberal în SUA înseamnă de stânga (sau Democrați sau opoziția la conservatori, Republicani, GOP (Grand Old Party) care sunt de dreapta), iar în Europa liberal e de dreapta pentru că acolo tot spectrul politic e deplasat spre stânga (shifted to red). (Nu mai există alte partide semnificative în SUA mai la stânga sau mai la dreapta sau mai la mijloc (centru). 2 partide și gata.).

Conceptul de liberalism aplicat în comerț e cu totul altă chestie.

Cuvântul iliberalism (ce cuvânt greu, neliterar) îl datorăm numai și numai fanaticului de Viktor Orban, o fațadă pe dictatura (ușoară, iluminată ca să spun așa) pe care a impus-o Ungariei timp de 19 de ani, aproape numai de Ceaușescu.

1:08 AM Eu nu am înțeles niciodată chestia cu kebab-ul (gyro la greci), șaorma de import la români. Pui acolo o grămadă de carne la învârtit. Cea din exterior se frige normal, dar mai la interior doar se încălzește. Totul depinde de câți clienți ai, dar dacă stă carnea aia crudă câteva ore așa grămadă, călduță, eu nu aș mai consuma.

Cum garantează? Ca lider suprem al armatei? Pe timp de pace, participă la înzestrarea și pregătirea armatei? Nu văd nimic în știri că el s-ar implica în ceva. De fapt, se pricepe? La conducerea și înzestrarea armatei țării? Ar ști să dea ordine în caz de război?

Deocamdată văd că veghează la căderi de drone lovite, după cum spun rușii. Nu am văzut în presă poze cu acea dronă, nici măcar după acuzațiile rușilor. I-au chemat să se facă de kk? Totul pare o provocare deliberată. Toate țările au negociat cu Trump o prelungire a timpului până la aplicarea sancțiunilor cu rafinăriile, ei nu.

Ce să medieze între instituțiile statului, atunci când intră ele în conflict? Nu-mi amintesc de nici o instanță de asemenea conflict și mediere. A conflictul între CSM și Guvern. Între guvern și profesori. A participat el la negocieri? Se pricepe? I-a explicat cineva Constituția? A fost la un curs de președinți?

Veghează la buna funcționare a autorităților publice. A venit Nicușor Dan acum câteva zile și a spus, ca Constantinescu, că e șocat de administrația publică din România. E și asta o chestie de veghere. E mai mult decât au făcut alții, în afară de Constantinescu, care a spus-o însă înainte de plecare.

Faza cu ANAF. Veghează la buna funcționare a administrației publice? Și ce face când aceasta nu funcționează? Se declară șocat? Plânge ca Băsescu?

A tras un semnal de alarmă care de fapt a fost ceva ca un fluier după care s-a dus să mai semneze niște decrete. Are vreun plan să-și exercite rolul constituțional? Știe cum? Dacă nu, se gândește poate să plece?

De-a lungul anilor am studiat mai mulți președinți care s-au perindat la "conducerea" României, din care (pen)ultimul, călător. Toți se comportă parcă ar fi desprinși de realitate și trăiesc undeva într-o bulă decorativă neutră unde să nu-i deranjeze nimeni. Ce fac ei pentru salariul respectiv?

A venit Nicușor Dan și a debutat cu niște plimbări prin țară, promovând cred HORECA.

Ce au făcut toți acești președinți. Constantinescu a fost învins. Iohannis lipsea până și din știri. Băsescu dă din clanță și acum.

Chestia e cam așa. Democrația la noi a venit fără manual de întrebuințare, care a fost scris și votat mai târziu, ăștia se fac că nu știu ce trebuie să facă în afară de o poză cu Trump și una cu Macron poate iar noi nu ne pricepem. O combinație perfectă pentru dezastru. Și orice noroc are un sfârșit.

Puneți-i la treabă pe Nicușor Dan, restul! Ei nu sunt acolo în concediu permanent!

9:52 În SUA chiar există o zicală care s-a transformat în expresie. "You can learn things the easy way or the hard way". The easy way e atunci când asculți de sfatul unui specialist competent, prieten sau persoană bine intenționată. The hard way e atunci când pățești o fază și apoi înveți. Cred că e echivalent cu mintea (românului) de pe urmă. Mai este o expresie apropiată, trial and error.

În România sunt prea mulți șarlatani de toate felurile. Politicieni dar mai ales jurnaliști. Au apărut acum clinicile private care promit orice pentru bani. Se scrie în presă lucruri care ar face pe oricine cu mai multă experiență să i se zbârlească părul (oripilare, de la pileus. Glumesc. Pileusul era fesul acela din capul dacilor, care era de fapt destul de comun în lumea antică).

Chiar dacă americanii au această expresie, nu se țin de ea. Îmi povestea cineva chiar după ce am venit aici (oare de ce am avut eu atâția sfătuitori, buni și răi, de-a lungul timpului). După ce se întâmplă 2-3 accidente mortale într-o intersecție, se pune un semafor.

A și o lecție desprinsă din vasta mea experiență la luat țepe. Oamenii care țipă tare (tara bostes, care a dat boast în engleză) și dau sfaturi în public în general sunt sfătuitori buni pentru că ei vor să audă și alții ce grijulii sunt ei. Când cineva îți dă un sfat la ureche, mai bine să nu-l asculți.

Mai e și chestia aia că "ulciorul nu merge de multe ori la apă". Fetița aia a mai avut odată tipul acela riscant de anestezie (când avea un an jumătate, abia îi dăduseră dinții, câte terapii de canal poți să faci unui copil de 2 ani). Medicul a avut 1700 de proceduri la activ (la copii de un an jumate 2 ani?).

Eu personal acum merg după google fiindcă știu engleză și știu cum să întreb. Ce chestie, câte chestii salvam dacă exista acu 20 de ani în forma în care e acum. Sau 30.

Apar și alte întrebări după această tragedie. De ce e nevoie de terapie de canal (dintele după terapie de canal devine un fel de implant fiindcă fără pulpă nu e altceva decât un material mort) la un copil de 2 ani. Una, fiindcă a avut probleme de nutriție sau alte probleme de sănătate care un au fost adresate. Alta, fiindcă dacă îl scoți se micșorează spațiul dintre dinți și apar probleme de aliniere când ies dinții permanenți.

2:30 PM In the meantime Trump has changed his mind about retiring troops from Romania. Nevermind that, the title of the news in the video is misleading. But watch the reaction on Orban's face and generally his body language, like dominating the whole meeting.

To put it plainly. Hungary has a major interest in Romania and hopes that Russia will do the job for them. Trianon Treaty has split multi-national (Austro) - Hungary in its Hungarian majority and non Hungarian majority territories and now they want them back with the price of wars.

Some of them territories are in Ukraine etc., the reason for the war in Ukraine and previously in Yugoslavia, the reason Orban supports Putin though Hungary is a member of NATO and Trump, an undead Hungarian piano player with at least two identities in US works on both sides.

Actually, it is not that difficult, all i have to do is add the deficits since Reagan when there was no major debt and today and compare to 40 trillions. How many years is that?

Ok i hope these numbers taken from here are real, it looks like there is a (big) difference between deficit and debt increase per each year and per total. Looking to figure that one out. Ok so the interest is included in the second column.

Deficit to GDP ratio (last column) is the traditional but not a good way to express deficit (to the public) because GDP is enormous (though is surpassed by debt), it makes it look small, it should be expressed as deficit to budget ratio as it seems natural because it's a budget deficit (difference between budget spending and revenue).

I was looking for the numbers in 2024 and 2025 not present in the source to finish the sheet above but i ran into some very interesting things. Great Recession of 2009. Refinancing of 2025.

So we're looking to a historical double debt increase this year, or 6 times higher than that of 2009, the reason the 5 trillion increase in July did not suffice. So we will have something like 10 in that column for 2025 or one quart of the total US debt. Would that make an unheard of approximate 25-30% fiscal (real) deficit (fiscal deficit to GDP ratio).

But this one we can't blame on Trump. It's "maturing" of short term high interest debts contracted during pandemic. In other words, pandemic profiteering.

However should not be that high. Keep searching.

Did government shutdown helped any? Maybe, with raising public awareness.

1:10 AM I smell Japanese. Tomorrow, now i have a movie to watch.

10:16 Kalimbaum. I've been fighting for a long time with "the news the day after", usually allegories with much emotional impact that are trying to cancel in people's memory what i post. Here is one classic example, after my post with Kalimba de Luna and Mick Jagger apparently worshiping goddess Kali.

This could not have been done without her participation (lack of security, lack of her reaction). It all prove the existence of a world wide coordination and... conspiracy.

Also this news appeared around the time i posted the above referred entry yesterday (10 hours ago) when i was complaining to Angela about my mind wondering after i have been exposed to some sort of yeast coming from a mat left in the rain near the dumpster combined with dog poop and smoke from the ground mole and/or rat holes near the building while i was very tired and excited after seeing tens of thousands of pictures for more than 10 hours while searching for the recent matches while the guy upstairs won't stop creaking and stumping, for hours.

It is consuming much of my mental energy for so many hours, with brain being probably depleted of some neurotransmitters or overly excited by dog poop parasites, hormones or pheromones transmitted through aerosols. People have no sympathy (or knowledge) for how much effort i'm putting in my posts for so many hours a day  even though it excites me which is some sort of reward i guess.

It was one of those impossible to escape day dreams about time traveling in the past trying to share current knowledge while i was trying to relax my mind, of which i commented aloud (i call it the Connecticut Yankee syndrome). Does that mean everything i'm talking is listened to, and then responded in the news through allegories?

BTW woke up with a taste of s...t in my mouth and i'm belching like it.

Honestely after i gathered the info and wrote that post i believed that project could not be serious, given the names involved on the Romanian side and was critical about the location and the design. Today new news emerged and i saw things evolved and how have to re-read everything and write another post.

One thing Romanians need to know is these guys are not American, this is an unproven, untested, minimalist desgin nobody want on their territory, not talking so close to Bucharest.

I believe Ceuașescu chose that location for the only nuclear power plant in Romania advised by the military so it could not be hit or sabotaged during a war, without contaminating the whole Black Sea, possibly the Mediteranean.
