10 AM Insitutul Meteorologic din România, o bătaie de joc, ca orice altceva. M-am uitat acum la presiunea barometrică dintr-o localitate apropiată de unde s-a produs cutremul (ieri nu am fost pe fază, sorry). 824 este mai scăzută decât cea mai scăzută presiune înregistrată vreodată.
Iată un exemplu despre ce aș fi vrut să găsesc. Bine nici la ei nu sunt date complete, Santa Monica e destul de departe de Los Angeles.

Probabil datele sunt eronate, nu se corelează una cu alta și lipsesc în multe locuri. Când au văzut că sunt serios, pur și simplu au întrerupt contactul.
Astăzi însă până și USGS a luat-o razna. Cutremurul produs ieri dimineața în România nu există în baza lor de date. Sau a fost înregistrat greșit de Institutul de Fizică a Pământului. Un cutremur de 3.6 se simte ca o legănare de o secundă două, dar numai în apropierea epicentrului. Fiind o scară logaritmică în baza 10, un cutremur de 4.6 grade este de zece ori mai puternic, etc..

I agree that if people were acting within society by principles instead of their own natural impulses would be better for all, there would be no need for laws etc., but it is in a way, cheating karma and there is always the (collective) subconscious which cannot be cheated.
And then there's always the possibility that people say they are doing something, and everybody believes them, and actually doing something else simply by choosing the moment or the time when their declared action can have the exact opposite effect, something nobody realizes.
I believe the only way to make this world better is by cognitive therapy. To make people understand what they are doing, to themselves, others.

Cele mai mari tâmpenii din istorie au fost întotdeauna comise cu încălcări profunde ale legislațiilor, constituțiilor, etc., care la un moment dat au fost aruncate la gunoi de către vreun dictator. Însă a fost întotdeauna nevoie de cel puțin 2 dictatori pentru a porni un război, iar în cazul României au fost 3 sau c chiar 4, Antonescu, Hitler, Stalin și Horthy (the perfect storm, furtuna perfectă).
