Grand Architect of the Universe

Revelations keep pouring over me at the end of this very interesting 2020 year.

Last night i got stoned, again. There was even this SUV with a GLADSTONE dealership LPN crossing my path when i left for a test drive to Wilsonville. (God, my keys on the keyboard are sticky from the beer i spilled over a couple of days ago). So i got stoned and i didn't know. I never even knew the link between GLADSTONE LPN that were showing probably every time i did (get stoned).

What does it mean. A tiny bit of calcined fossilized remains of protist poured over me from upstairs while i was minding my own stuff and working on car. Unprovoked, though they never acted unprovoked, or better said, uncovered. Even if there's no real provocation, they will act on what most perceive as such. Good enough. 

For those who never knew or forgot, this is the denatured material that is currently used by people with little concern over their health and others' as "litter box", seen under electron microscope. Denatured, because initially these futuristic looking but so ancient "houses" of the protist were made of amorphous silica, quite harmless.  Humans have learned though to calcine them, that is heat them at 1500 to get rid of any organic remains and make them ready to absorb many times their weight in water and/or animal urine.

(BTW, i think some of those were used as models by white shinto architect Minoru for World Trade Center "hollow" architecture, don't you. That in the end got calcined).

What people who used those don't understand is, the urine never disappears. Even some are formulated to "clump" so you can remove it, enough amounts will remain in the box, at the vicinity of clumps, will  together with other goodies, especially bacteria, and very bad bacteria from sometimes sick animals, will stay in their house, under their nose. Today i even got to sweep from the ground some that was thrown not far from my door and i can tell you it was quite perfumed.
So i got stoned, i didn't realize because i drank and then i went to Ilani when i was ready to beat the hell out of anybody who was staying in my way. Starting with the young Japanese actor who blinded me for 5 minutes with his bluish headlights one ft away from my car in the parking lot or until i told him to put them out. Lucky enough, or maybe they wrote something else for me, it didn't happened, even after i cursed at the bar tender and the celeb who was sitting alone at the bar, almost like waiting for me, others.  Luckily i had the inspiration to go back at the car, go eat something, etc.. Extraordinary irritation that is.

I would skip other current details that have little to do with the subject and bring here some other information. Everybody knows what masseter muscle is. Is the muscle which is essential to our much more complicated biology. Used to chew up food. It's a small but very powerful muscle. Strongest in our body, per weight, that is. Next to our temples.

More than 5 years ago, about 7, while i was living in LO, the city of Portland did some improvements at Tryon park. One of them is they poured something on the trails. I figured it was cement since the trails, though they didn't change appearance, hardened. So they poured a calculated amount of cement, not to turn the trails into concrete and make them loose the "natural" look, but just to hardened the surface. I think it could work to stabilize soil around houses, better than mulch. Could also keep the moles from penetrating at the surface, bringing with them all the stinks of their underground larderes full of worms, fresh mold and why not, even the mole's salivary venomous enzymes, making you lethargic.

This morning what did i see. The moles broke through again. I went and stepped with my 240 pounds weight on the bulges and could barely level the ground because it became pretty hard, but several hours later the bulges where on again. Then i started asking myself. What kind of force do moles have and how do they apply it, to be able to raise the hardened soil with hundreds of pounds force? Like you would do with a jack?

Then my mind flew to an image i posted on my similarities blog.
Still something missing im my mind. Though great architectural achievements, for a blind animal, the mounds are made of fresh soil.

So how the mole would raise, even an inch, a piece of hardened soil that i could barely push down with 240 pounds? The only way, i figure, is by pushing with one "hand" up and one down, having at those "hands" muscles similar in strength to our masseters. I think it is doable, since the size of the mole hand is in that range with our strongest muscles in our body.

Then it finally hit me. "To keep them separated, Pangu stood between them and pushed up the sky."

And in the end we're all birds of a feather.

Năsui, Motorala și miliardele

O altă coincidență nenorocită. Două. Primul meu telefon celular, în 98, a fost un Motorola. Cel de acum este tot așa. Nu folosesc plan, ci doar wi-fi, pentru poze, etc.. Mi-a fost lene să scot SIM card-ul dinăuntru iar telefonul se cupla la turn tot timpul și emitea pe semnal maxim, deși nu aveam plan. De când i-am scos SIM card-ul, bateria ține de 2-3 ori mai mult. Chiar azi am văzut o ofertă super pe youtube, 3 luni gratuite și următoarele cu 15 dolari pe lună, cam la o treime din prețurile normale.

Astăzi văd pentru prima dată și o conexiune. Acest Năsui. Care se pare că e cunoscut în SUA, deci nu e o iluzie. Dacă dai un search, numele lui apare lângă Motorola.

Nimic dar absolut nimic din viața mea nu rămâne ne-exploatat într-un fel sau altul.

Mă repezisem să scriu ceea ce oamenii știau că voi scrie când văd asemenea chestii când m-am gândit că e una din numeroasele de acum curse.

Da, se pare că taică-su a furat 8 sau 16 milioane de dolari. Sau așa zic ăștia.

De câte ori am scris, dar lumea uită, după cum uită și asemănările mele. Văd ultimele, se gândesc că totuși poate lumea mai seamănă între ei, etc.. Dar câți și de ce toți dintr-o singură țară?

Cineva odată mi-a spus că dacă ajung la 1000 să-i spun și lui. Nu mai am cum, fiindcă l-am găsit și pe el pe liste. Din 1000 de asemănați, câți din cei care citesc acest post își amintesc mai mult de zece? Cine e destul de curios să defileze în jos pe celălalt blog să vadă măcar 100 din ei?

Dar ce mai uită lumea? Lumea uită că de exemplu un minister, ca cel al economiei, are un buget. De fapt vroiam să repet iar zilele acestea. Guvernul este parte inutilă din jurul bugetului. Ei, în cazul perfect ideal în care nu ar face nimic, ne-ar face cel mai mare serviciu. Adică ar lăsa bugetul să curgă, așa cum stabilește Parlamentul în fiecare an.

Dar ce să mai spun de alții dacă nici eu nu-mi amintesc cât buget are Ministerul Economiei, asta și poate fiindcă nu pot să-mi amintesc nimic din ce a realizat vreodată de acest minister.

Îmi amintesc însă perfect, fiindcă am repetat de atâtea ori, ceea ce mă roade, lipsa autostrăzilor: În 2020 de exemplu, Ministerul Transporturilor a avut aproape 12 miliarde din care numai 2 cred că au justificare. La fel la Agricultură, Dezvoltare și mai ales Muncii și tot așa până la o gaură neagră totală de vreo 200 miliarde, am estimat eu odată.

Deci ce înseamnă un tun de 16 milioane pe care l-a dat odată taică-su pe lângă tunul ce urmează să dea fiul, de câteva miliarde.

Sau poate lumea nu are percepția miliardului, care este o mie de milioane.

Stau însă și mă uit la fața lui și a lui sexy aia cu eugenia lor de pe pupitrul de parlamentar și în general a oricărui politician. Nu arată ei de banii aceia. Bine, dar cine îi mai vede după. Adică după ce au stat la coadă și și-au făcut ministeriatul. Am numărat eu odată vreo 600 de miniștri de după 90. Fiecare din ei au plecat, într-o ipoteză, cu câte cel puțin un miliard de euro! de căciulă. Cine îi mai vede după? Apropo, numărul lor e comparabil cu cel al asemănaților mei, deși nu sunt nici pe departe toți, eu mai am și din alte țări. Mulți sunt uitați pentru veșnicie. Câți din ei vă puteți aminti, așa, dintr-o dată, fără liste și alte chestii, doar din cap. Doar poate pe repetenți. Care era ultimul guvern al lui Ponta, IV?

LOL am scris odată de Simona Halep care dormea într-un hol al clădirii unde juca tenis și faptul că umbla îmbrăcată jigărită sau la o ocazie, cu o coafură cu care nici nu era obișnuită, deși teoretic ar trebuie să învârtă milioane. Alte pițipoance care nu au banii dar sunt învățate cu munca de teatru și prietene cu recuziterii se îmbracă super. Și iată că o văd azi într-o poză la volan și părea chiar happy.

Chestia e așa. Nu poate nimeni să cheltuiască un miliard. Hai să fim serioși. Ce poți să faci cu un miliard? Îți iei un iaht cât bricul Mircea și te duci cu el pe Dunăre în sus și-n jos sau pe Marea Neagră și bei numai șampanie etc.. A văzut cineva 600 de yahturi defilând în sus și în jos prin fața portului lui Dinescu sau chiar al insulei Belina?

Din ce am văzut eu până acum nici unul din speriații ăștia nici măcar nu miroase a miliard. Nici măcar a milion. Serios. Cu costumele lor de recuzită. Cu pala în vânt ca Trump. Nici măcar Țiriac, cu accentul și mustața lui. Nici însuși Elon Musk nu mă convinge.
Sunt doua ipoteze care de fapt converg într-una singură. 1. Banii aceștia de la buget nu există. Nu se strâng taxele respective, nu se cheltuiesc banii. Ceea ce, ca hoție este echivalent cu a doua ipoteză, 2. Adică banii se scurg undeva, poate pe autostrăzile care converg spre Budapesta și vilele de pe malul lacului Balaton, direct din contabilitatea bugetului. Sunt echivalente, fiindcă toate firmele care nu plătesc taxe sunt controlate tot de ei. Totul e controlat de ei. Dar și pe ei îi controlează cineva. Vă mai amintiți de un tip din blogul meu, HoReCa?

Că taxele din salarii sigur se strâng. Uitați-vă la fluturași.

M-am mai gândit în timp ce scriam și mai este o ipoteză totuși care însă se poate combina cu prima. Un alt motiv pentru care bugetul e umflat, cam de două ori, după cum spuneam, cam cu 200 miliarde lei anual, și împreună cu bugetul și PIB-ul, este ca deficitul, care se raportează la PIB să pară mai mic, ca să poată ei în continuare să împrumute, ca să se autofinanteze, adică să-și plătească diurna jigărită pe perioada cât stau în România. Că e mulți, câteva mii. Ceea ce face ca datoria publică a României să crească veșnic, la fel ca cea în toate "țările civilizate, industrializate, cu economie de tip vest".

Așa că mai lăsați-mă cu 8, 16 milioane. Omul e înșurubat pe direcția cea bună să dea un tun de câteva sute de ori mai mare decât taică-su cu Motorola. Depinde de cât stă. Dar nu pentru el. Asta e sigur.

The Dead Maggots From the Balcony

I was paranoid last summer about dust falling from the balcony upstairs. So i invested the pain of a half day's work and added some pieces of foam between the beams of the balcony. That i cut with a knife from big sheets and carefully fitted between the beams. It was a hot summer or spring day, work did me good. Later i added a piece of shower curtain under. Then they bought (i think it was after that) a bird feeder and a sack of seed for feeding the birds. The birds where making a mess and seeds where falling and squirrels were coming to eat the fallen seeds. Then the rains came and wetted the fallen seeds that could not fall through the beams anymore because of the pieces of foam and the seeds sprouted and grass started to grow. Then, i don't know how, the whole ecosystem completed with maggots. Cold came and some maggots died and then in warmer days maggots started to rot contributing to me who i stay here most of the time getting sick. And that's my story.

Finally Figured

How many times did i say that before? (That i finally figured).

About an hour ago i was sitting in the (small) bathtub full of very hot water just to get myself and especially my head (and ears) warmed up. How do i get so cold, kept asking myself. Cold enough for an infection to persist in that area including part of parotid glands, masseter muscle and adjacent lymph node. Symmetrical. I was not much outside in the cold today. It wasn't raining.

The woman upstairs came in the bathroom with me. I mean, in her bathroom, in the same time and kept squeaking for the same amount of time i was in there. Kept thinking. 12/22/2020 (for the next hour or so, local time). Last great numerological number of this critical turn of century and milenia. Last chance of the demented.

No matter what many would say, it was a good century. For the surviving that is. For those who lived in the last half of it. Unprecedented, unseen, unexpected scientific and technological advances in an impossible to follow (with our ordinary minds) rhythm made our lives in the same time way more comfortable, and why not, interesting. To me at least until i broke through the layers and layers of BS that came with it.

I won't go much further in that direction but instead come back to the theme i had in mind when i started it. Why my infection around ears that lasts for years if not decades.

I've been yesterday and two days ago (Sunday) outside in the cold rain, maybe for hours, though with a hoody and other things on my head, working on the car and got wet all over in temperatures near freezing. Pretty positive the building and parking spots where flooded with marijuana and/or cocaine smoke from reused and/or abused mole holes. That kept me outside, slow-moving, senseless and painless.

And Angela's Christmas present from a co-worker in her last day of work. A sleigh made of candy. Very common type of gifts in the US. I'm really sorry i didn't take a picture of it. However, unlike in other later years, Angela started to eat it. And after eating much of it she got hooked to that sugar and went and bought a cake. A red one with white "glaze", that is a layer of sugar and vegetable oils flavored with citric acid on top. Could not help but sample of it, only the red, less than honey-sweet dough part of it, pushing the "glazing" aside.

Interestingly enough, my blood sugar, which i kept monitoring these days, didn't go that high. Instead, i started to get headaches. Sugar diffusing (or even pumped) through salivary ducts back to the parotid glands that were already infected triggered instant headaches by spreading through lymph to my sinuses, eyes and all my head that lasted for hours and interestingly, a very intense perception of light and colors. From inflammation to eyes, i recon.

Until i got desperate enough to get some antibiotics. Which i again kept in my mouth instead of swallowing. Within ten minutes of the first 500 mg my headache, which was most intense since i had "viral meningitis" as a child (who knows what i really had, when my headache and fotofobia lasted for at least one week) was gone. Kept taking those for more than 24 hours now.

So what did i figure tonight. I was sitting in the bathtub and listening to the squeak upstairs that again seemed to follow the pattern of my thoughts, so annoying i would have gladly gone temporarily deaf just not to hear it. And that was it. I had a revelation.

Don't know exactly how they get their feedback. I mean, how they know when my head gets heated up with thoughts, ideas and excitement which generally is not, but at times may be sinful.

What happens i think as a reaction, my vegetative or autonomous or vegetable part of my brain literally tries to shut down hearing just to get rid of the (extremely) annoying sound and it does so by lowering blood flow in the area of the ears. Which may be a temporary defense mechanism that on a long term, if abused, may result in loss of the facial hair in that area as it happened to me, and persistent infections, which i was not aware for a long time. That may spread in different areas of the body as i said before. Capisci?

When it happened the first time? December 1995. Same type of kabala, alchemical neighbors upstairs. Back then, not having a clue i went, literally, crazy, got arrested by that b... from CNN, "Amanpour" and then 3 wonderful weeks in a mental hospital (the first time when i felt relaxed in the US), after first 6 stressful months of being here.

Horses, Powerful

What is a HP (Horse Power, not to be confused with Hewlett Packard). A non-standard unit for measuring power. What is power. Something that creates mechanical work or heat, in general occurs when one form of energy is transformed into another, in a certain amount of time. Transformed in watts, which is a standard unit for measuring power (metric this time, not to be confused with SAE, or Standard American and English which is non-metric, confused already? Wait a minute, HP is SAE?).

"Well i never knew" there was a Horse Power and then there was a metric Horse Power, i don't have time for this right now, what i know is a HP is approximately 7 hundred something watts and this is what i want to talk about.

There is little concern in the US for like how many HP a car has. Some people look for things like, room, confort, safety. All these result in big cars, vans or SUVs and big cars need many HP to move and many HP mean usually big engines, V6 being midd range. Other people look for prices and smaller cars with smaller engines that are cheaper. Just googled and i saw the average power for a car in the US is 120 HP. That can't be right, from what i see on the streets.

Anyways. An internal combustion engine runs at a maximum efficiency of... Nevermind, i ran into something else. Google gives the answer for that question 80% which can't be true. Don't know how google picks the answer, next answer in line is closer to what i knew, 35-40% for "advanced engines".

But in reality, for real cars and real engines, with an average age of cars running on streets of 12 years, the real thermal efficiency of the engines is 20%. Which means 80% of the energy of the fuel is wasted in the radiator and exhaust. Heating the Universe as some would say. So it's the exact opposite of the answer picked by google to that question.

And here's where i wanted to get. Due to air drag, friction of tires with the road, an average size car needs about 15 HP on average to cruise at constant speed during long trips. The rest of the HPs, all the way to 120 or 200 or something is for acceleration. Usually you use for a few seconds all the power of the engine until you get "up to speed" and then you release the gas pedal and start cruising. From what i see on the instant dashboard indicator of the Elandra, engine goes to a consumption of 14-17 mpg for acceleration and above 35 for cruising. Hyundai Elantra indeed  has one of those advanced engines.

However, it's got a wasteful automatic transmission with hydraulic torque converter which is way more efficient at higher RPMs used during acceleration and wastes a lot during cruise. Waste in automatic transmission is so great it needs a whole section of the radiator just to cool it, in the range of 5 to 15%.

The newer continuous variable transmissions used in newer models (CVT) are much more efficient.

To compare that 15 HPs needed to cruise to the beach to let's say the energy used by a house, we need to transform the HPs into watts. 15 HPs by 750 would be about what, 10 KW, or the average power needed for 10 homes, including heating, dryer, AC, hot water, stove, other appliances. But when thinking that we use those 15HP coming from an internal combustion engine that has a 30 or even 20% efficiency, we realize that during those hours we use the energy needed to power up to 50 homes.

So that's why i'm tweaking the Hyundai almost every day, giving "them" opportunities to come outside and to their shows around me. Today it was raining and got wet and cold about 3 times (and they still started to move around me).

Because i saw one day i made from here to Spirit Mountain, a 49 miles trip, on other occasions, a mileage on the dashboard indicator of 39 mpg. But that was one day only. About half the times i get 37. It's not that much about the money, though a 15% difference in fuel consumption with that car would be about 1000 a year. It's curiosity and also pride. Hope i can prove something.

Then, every time something breaks allowing a vacuum leak. Last night coming back home it was 34. I replaced until now the hoses around the catch can i don't know how many times. Last time today, i found under one of the clamps a... hairline crack in the rubber hose? that was so straight it seemed a cut. I used high pressure, oil resistant breaded fuel lines. So i replaced them with PVC hoses. I modified the clamps, cause they were "gathering" the tire in one point or line and where not perfectly round.

I don't know why it's so important, but by freshly tightening those hoses, i get 15% better mileage. For that trip only. When i check the next day, i see they're loose again. The rubber gives in and then cracks. On the PCV ones, it looks like they get untightened. So i added extra nuts on the bolts.

The vacuum inside the intake while crusins is what, 15psi, but the problem is that is an average and it probably pulsates peaking at around 20 or something and probably the opening of the valves and sucking of the pistons gives shock waves through the hoses that combined with the movement (vibration) of the engine creates temporary pulsating leaks.

Original PCV hose (used without catch can) is preformed rubber, with spring clamps that barely tighten. I know Hyundai redesigned an engine with the shaft a bit off from under the pistons to make the angle at active stroke smaller just to get an increase of 1% efficiency when they are probably loosing for older or even newers cars up to 10% or more because of a hose and clamps.

I remember 15 years ago with the Nissan used mostly by Angela to go to work and for trips in weekends, i found a puncture in the heater hose, and i kept pouring coolant and coolant kept disappearing until i found that leak and went and fixed it. To me it looked a puncture made with a tool.

I don't know what to believe anymore.

Cyber Threats. Real or Myth

My opinion. They are as real as everything else. Governments, politicians.

In an ideal world (not the one we live in obviously), we should expect no critical infrastructure communication network is physically connected to the internet. I personally don't believe they are. They shouldn't. Classical example, power grid. What else. The controlling part of the phone providers. The military. Etc..

They should and probably have their own separate physical networks. It would be insane if they didn't.

Many people can't make the distinction between the front sites of the institutions giving access to a tiny fraction of the information from those sectors and their internal networks. There may be connections but one way only. Read only, if  you want. By hardware design.

By example. One should be able to go and check online his account with the power company. But that is the accounting part of it. And only the read only of the accounting part of it that details power usage and whatever, price, cost. The rest of it as the IT infrastructure controlling the grid should be physically isolated from the internet and probably is. Same with banks, government agencies, etc..

From time to time they come and bring us this unverifiable "news". Things that happened in the past and "they didn't know". Those that if you search the source of, you would find to be the source of all confusions and misunderstandings we leave with nowadays. When they squeeze everything they can out of those that never verify in the end they switch to some other imaginary threat.

About the recent "Russian" cyberattacks. The main problem here is the Russians don't deny it or don't make the slightest effort to educate the public in "the other countries" they are supposedly menacing. I bet vast majority of Russians don't even know about. They have a totally different view of the world, with their own journalists and their own news, tailored to their needs. And the language and especially the alphabet barriers. Most Russians can't read latin alphabet so they can at least read the titles from the sites.

They a front news agency called Sput Nick that sometimes is as confusing as American main media. Who wants to read Sput Nick or Spit Nick? It is made mostly for their own English readers so they can believe they are not totally isolated. Because they are in the same situations. Fake politicians, fake governments controlling everything.

Why they need this constant tension? Simply to take peoples' mind out of the real problems.

"On the other side are experts who say such warnings are vast exaggerations peddling FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) – that natural disasters and rodents are more of a threat than cyber attacks to industrial control systems (ICS) that power the grid, water distribution, transportation and other critical services.

The evidence – so far – seems to favor the latter view. No cyber attack in the US has crippled the grid, water, communication or other CI systems even for weeks. Indeed, major storms have left tens of thousands of people without power for longer than any cyber attack has."

Rodents. They (CSO) compare cyber threats to rodents. Rats that is.

One more thing. Who ever needed internet as an open, international network? What are 99% of Americans 99% of the time searching in other countries web sites? Nothing.

Uku Lelea și semaforul.

Ok m-am hotărât să nu mai scriu ce mi s-a întâmplat în parc înainte și după, devine plictisitor și pentru mine și pentru cei care citesc dar am venit acasă și am pus iar un video și m-a lovit iar nevoia de a scrie.

Deci. M-am dus să-mi iau frumusețea de camionetă din 98 din parcarea de lângă stradă, la 5-10 minute de mers de aici. Resetasem ieri computerul (poți să-l resetezi prin deconectarea bateriei, ștergerea codurilor de eroare cu ajutorul unui conector blue tooth de vreo 3 dolari și o aplicație gratuită, Torque Lite (pe care am plătit-o odată, dar am resetat tableta și nu mai merge), cu care poți citi și senzorii, etc.). Am vrut să-l resetez azi din nou dar am uitat și l-am pornit.

Ce se întâmplă. De câte ori resetezi computerul la mașinile mai noi de 96, motorul iese din funcționarea pe buclă închisă (closed loop, optimizat) și intră într-un mod generic (open loop) și începe să facă niște teste de senzori perioadă în care nu scoate coduri de eroare. Dacă trec toate testele, intră pe closed loop și începe învățarea stilului de conducere pentru a optimiza consumul și emisiile.

Rezistența de încălzire de la al doilea senzor de oxigen (ăla de după catalizator, cu 5 fire). Se rezolvă cu o pornire la rece (temperatura lichidului de răcire să fie cam aceeași cu cea a aerului și mai mare de 4 grade Celsius, deci după o noapte, dar se prea poate iarna. Adică se poate dacă prinzi o dimineață peste 4 grade sau 40 Farenheit). Al meu l-am schimbat aiurea acum doi ani fiindcă nu știam chestia. Dacă trece, face și testul senzorului însuși în vreo câteva minute de mers sub 40 la oră combinat cu ralanti. Apoi supapa de recirculare eșapament EGR (pentru răcirea amestecului, se recirculeaza o mică parte din gaze de eșapament în galeria de emisie, care micșorează temperatura și practic crește cifra octanică printr-o supapă comandată de computer, a nu se confunda cu supapa de recirculare pentru aerisire, PCV). Și aceea era schimbată, dar a fost într-adevăr defectă. Pentru aia trebuie să mergi vreo 5 minute peste 90 la oră cu viteză constantă. Deci trecusem toate testele și m-am dus la stația de testare care era închisă. Luni, uitasem.

Am emoții fiindcă dacă nu trece, trebuie să schimb iar catalizatorul pe care l-am schimbat deja de 3 ori, fiindcă tot așa nu am știut chestia și am pus catalizatoare ieftine, care nu au cantitatea de ceramică necesară și se duc după vreun an (un catalizator bun nu are cum să fie sub vreo 500 de dolari și de obicei trebuie să iei unul original). Dar cum s-a stricat și ăla. Într-un an pe 3 iulie (2010) am mers undeva și când am venit acasă pe drum mașina a început să facă un zgomot foarte nașpa, ca de pietre care se rostogolesc, de fapt se spărsese blocul de ceramică din catalizator, care e o chestie rară. Chevrolet S10 este un tip de Chevrolet făcut de GM în colaborare cu Isuzu care au și ei unul identic care se numește Isuzu Hombre.

M-am întors și am intrat puțin în parc. Adică pe strada de pe lângă, cum merg eu mai recent, din cauza prafului de piatră de pe alei unde au turnat pietriș care se macină și se face praf foarte nașpa. Am mers eu vreo 10 minute și am dat de un nor de fum. Foarte subtil, fin, cum zice Angela. Cel mai probabil cocaină, care seamănă mult cu fumul de vegetație. De fapt, e tot o plantă și aia. Mă gândeam iar, cum m-am mai gândit, dacă nu cumva Gingis Han nu a folosit asta ca pe o tactică de luptă. Adică iei niște provizii de ceva plante de care lumea în Europa nu a auzit și niște meseriași care știu cum bate vântul, trimiți doi din ăia care fac unul două focuri din direcția vântului lângă tabăra sau satul pe care vrei să-l iei. Oamenii din tabără sau sat simt puțin miros de fum, dar nu știu ce e și într-o oră două devin happy, încep să facă tot felul de chestii, după care vii și-i iei cu pierderi minime. Astfel a luat el Asia și o parte din Europă, pe care însă nu a putut s-o țină, fiindcă habar nu avea de cultura și mai ales religia locală.

Nu mult fum, dar m-am întors. Eram puțin happy dar nu prea. La ieșirea din parcare prima fază. Se bagă o tipă în față (aici sunt foarte puțin pietoni) să treacă pe trecere.

Dar în intersecția următoare și singura până acasă, la 7-11. Se face verde, pornesc încet și semnalizez stânga, vine un tip din parcarea din față de la 7-11 spre mine, îl las să treacă înaintea lui pe lângă mine (aveam semn să cedez dacă fac la stânga), mai iese unul și face la dreapta, îl las să treacă și pe acela, fac stânga și în ultimele secunde de verde apare și un pieton întârziat care trece strada de la stânga, pe care nu-l văzusem din cauza celorlalte două faze, la care frânez. Un tip roșcat cu barbă destul de lungă. Vin acasă, încerc să mă relaxez, pun un video, îl văd pe tip, singura diferență e că avea barba mai lungă decât în video. Și apropo e prima dată când mi-am dat seama că tipul are barbă roșie fază la care îmi vin în minte versurile "woke up to a red parade and refused to make amends".

5G

In a feat of reverse psychology, 5G scare started with rumors about China taking control over areas involving personal privacy and security of the US. It ended with the arrest of a woman in Canada and banning of Huawei technology from many countries including the US (BTW, what Uighurs have to do with Huawei's 5G?).

Mostly concerned with my own physical safety over privacy and other issues, i started to search and write on the subject. But before that i have to put down with some stipulations. In my opinion, formed after many years of being in the middle of a story that clearly involves agents of the Empire of Japan controlling many aspects of my life, i came to the conclusion that China has been fully taken over secretly by Japan, many years ago, under the camouflage of a communist dictatorship and nowadays is used as forced labor base for massive exports of electronics products in the US with the purpose of de-technologizing, de-educating, downgrading, and generally annihilating the work force and ultimately entire population of the US. If tomorrow China would stop exporting electronic goods to the US, US will be paralyzed because they don't have the capacity and readiness to take over this production that has already passed several levels ahead of anything produced in the US in the past, with the exception of Intel maybe.

After stumbling yesterday upon the existing standards for protection from levels of emissions of the "older" technology (1.6 watts/kg), that were probably adopted just to fit the technology and products, not to protect anything, without any scientific backing or studies, they are "just" starting to study the long term effects of "low level" microwave exposure, low meaning it does not instantly boil you, most of the studies searchable on the internet are dated after the "adoption" of the standards, which also proves many other people have second thoughts, and contemplating the enormity of the "allowance", of which many probably don't understand, what else can be said?

One typical, way too circulated American phrase: If you think that is bad, wait until 5G comes. (If you don't, do the same. It doesn't matter).

The main novelty brought by 5G is the way signal is transmitted to the tower (and back but that is not that interesting because of dispersion and distance). Ironically, with the purpose to save power, the emission is made directional and confined to a narrow beam which then can be much stronger (denser).

How narrow, about the size of the antenna itself. This way, the power density can be increased to levels allowing much higher speeds (for higher speeds you need more power to beat the noise which becomes important at higher frequencies modulation). Yes, you read right. With the same 3 watts or whatever, (power is limited due to probably using the same batteries), you emit a narrow beam instead of a spherical wave.

This way you eliminate waste of energy (most of the signal up to 4G goes to nowhere usable) the intensity of the signal can be hundreds of times higher using the same power.

At first it seems ok, if it's directional and does not go all around, it would go to the tower and not to your head. Maybe.

That's what i thought myself for a few seconds or so. But then, you hold your phone in your hand, right, the beam would go right through it? From what i read so far, the beam would follow the tower even if you moved around, actually it wouldn't make sense if it wouldn't, and phased array is the technology used in radars that can scan the area in front of the antenna many times a second, and the phone's inertial and gravimetric sensors together with GPS know its own position so it's perfectly doable, actually already done (though looking weird to me). So what happens when you turn around while pacing and speaking into your office and the tower moves on the other side of your head? Let's say they were conscious enough to embed in the design a function that would allow switching to another tower that is again facing the back side of your phone. But that other tower would be on the other side of the building, right, and the beam won't go through.

I wouldn't dare to say what others did, what would happen when you have a conference meeting with each member having his own beam following each its own tower (carrier)?

Here the technical details i've been trying to delay. How a phased array antenna inside your phone looks like and especially where it's located. (3 in this image).

How are they going to comply with the already immense limits, if the power would be the same 3 watts max but the beam would concentrate all that power in a few square inches?

And ultimately, why do we need all that, just to watch 4k movies on our phones when going in the park?

Here's a really smart one. (It's tough indeed to get radio signals going through metal, duh!)

"no one had demonstrated that it’s possible to build these antennas into phones with full metallic casings, as can be found in the high-end mobile devices from numerous manufacturers [didn't know numerous manufacturers have already manufactured numerous high and/or low end 5G mobile de-vices]. Now researchers from the Shanghai Institute for Advanced Communication and Data Science at Shanghai University in China have developed a 28 Gigahertz (GHz) beam-steering antenna array that can be integrated into the metallic casing of 5G mobile phones."

The trick is, the signal doesn't really go "through" the metal casing, it takes a detour through the glass first. Then it reflects and/or difracts on your head and provided the system is smart enough, will focus onto the tower and adjust strength, by trial and error, taking into account (or maybe not) your head's conductivity.  If  you don't believe me, take one of these, find where the tower is and keep it away from  your head and tower and tell me if you have any signal (nevermind, would probably still have diffraction on the edge of the case and some signal, maybe 25% would go through). Which brings me, this time to a rhetoric question, how the signal goes through "the metal casing" of the "high end" phones for the classic, 4G ones? (unless if the casing itself is the antenna). Nevermind, curiosity got the best of me. And after reading that, here's a good idea for the "high end" users. Better hold your phone with the metal case to your ear!

Android and Masseter Muscle

Android phones are totally unreliable. With dozens or hundreds of apps running in the background, most of the times having some you don't even don't know about, most likely of unknown origin, they can do weird things. One of the symptoms sometimes may be fast discharge of the battery. But where do some of that lost power go?

Today i started to re-consider the idea that the problem behind my inflammation of the parotid glands but also... masseter muscle or even prostate, sciatic nerves, may be the phone.
I got a phone from Boost Mobile, for 80 bucks, but i only used it with Boost a couple of months and now i'm using it on wi-fi only (when available). I always assumed wi-fi, which uses the same frequencies as cell phones, cordless and microwave ovens, would use less power, because of limited distance.

After months or maybe years of inflammation in that area (including tip of the ears painful, like after being outside in cold, other symptoms, like loss of balance) it occured to me several times it could be the phone but i forgot every time.

I once had a microwave leak detector identical with the one in the picture below. I took it apart and i saw inside there was only a GHz range diode and a magnetoelectric type of meter. If i kept it inches away in front of the microwave, the needle would move and if very close, the needle would go on red. But the leaks are way bigger if there is nothing to heat up in the microwave, like if you start it empty though that never happens in practice. In this case needle would go over the range even inches away and still move at one meter distance.

I broke that leak detector and threw it away and years after i wanted one and could not find it anymore and i bought instead a diode like the one inside the old one for 2 bucks somewhere, maybe at Fry's and used an old analog meter, which i stripped of electronics and i put the diode and a piece of wire figuring a dipole in series with the meter and it shows similar readings near the microwave (shown in the videos at the end).

When i tried that one close to the phone i saw the needle would move in similar ways with the first one when close to the microwave oven. It makes sense since microwave ovens work at 2.4 GHz, close to cell phone frequency (i think 5G doubles that).
I tried the same with Angela's and it doesn't move the needle though she pays for voice and data and mine works only on wi-fi. I tried it near the wi-fi router and the needle moves as well over there.

A new 700 watts 2.4 Ghz microwave oven may leak 1% of the whole power and that is also the maximum amount the phone can put out when talking to a distant tower. 99% of the time when used in town the phone uses only a fraction of that power, it goes to maximum only occasionally.

Question is if 0.6 watts maximum power is a hardware limitation or some manufacturers put bigger emitters inside the phone just in case, that are only software limited. What if a foreign app gets inside your phone and start turning that emitter at maximum power every time you put the phone to your ears?

Cordless phones use similar or lower frequencies and slightly less power. But who can guarantee the manufacturers, trying to "improve" the quality of the signal, won't use more?

Microwave leaks at ovens happens only close to them where you don't usually stand with your head and will decrease to 0 at one meter distance if you have something to heat in the oven.

Is it acceptable to have about the same level from a phone that stays close to your skin and other organs? Is 1-2% of the full power of a microwave oven for one hour a day too much for your head? I believe anything above 0 is too much already.

Before the Moto e6 i own now and other previous Android phones we had a couple of small blackberry imitation phones with cameras that weren't smart phones. I was also talking a lot on cordless maybe hours a day during those days. I gave up cordless phones in 2015 when i stopped using a landline.

It was around that time when i started to have symptoms like loss of balance, which were most likely caused by increased intracranial pressure due to infections in the area close to where you hold your phone, that were propagating to the meninges and spine. One prolonged course of antibiotics of several months and discovery of diabetes in 2015. I think diabetes occurs when infection from salivary glands inflamed from your phones (cell and cordless) propagates to the pancreas that has some similarities with parotid glands (at least a few similar cell types for production of amylase).

Nowadays, besides the bulges on both sides in the area with masseter muscle and parotid glands, i lost much of the facial hair in that area (sideburns), have pain at the ears, dizziness, weird punctual headaches, after eating or in the morning, etc..

All i have to do now is not put that phone to the ears or near my body when it's on and wait and see.

One more thing. I think i exposed myself to a good dose (since i'm sensitive already) when i filmed this video because if you start the mwave with nothing in it it will leak much more.

I had no idea until one minute ago that they have "regulated" levels of leaks for microwave ovens which proves that my concern is real. Google even mentions the levels considered safe. At first glance they look insignificant. 5 mW per square centimeter. FDA, an American agency, this time gives it per square centimeter. Because per square inch that value would be... about 6.4 times greater, at 32 mW per square inch and wouldn't look so small anymore. This confirms all that i was saying. 10 square inches or about 3x3 would be about the size of a human organ maybe like a fist or heart and that would catch about 320 mW of power if close enough to the door.

But if i multiply that amount, 5 mW with the whole surface surrounding the oven, which is about 1/2 of a square meter or 5000 square centimeters i get... 0.005*5000 = 25 watts! (If modulated, it would reach a tower or cell phone at what distance, more than 100 miles maybe?).

Going back to cell phones, that move my needle in the same way, that amount would be 1 watt per whole head. But there are still too many unknowns. Microwave leaks from that oven that i use as reference to measure the emissions of a phone could be under the recommended limit. But i know for sure that when i bought that monitor many years ago i had an old microwave that was interfering with my satellite dish that was ft away and the levels shown with the monitor where not much greater than the ones i see now.

From what i've seen lately at politics and politicians, i don't expect anymore any kind of protection from the part of environmental agencies from hungry or dishonest or even maybe misintended sellers (or maybe the opposite) and it does not surprise me at all that we are exposed to harmful amounts of microwaves from cell and cordless phones and ultimately from ovens. There was this idea circulating in the media some time ago about getting cancer from cell phone radiation. I dismissed it because i misinterpreted what i was seeing when i bought that detector (monitor, whatever, the first picture), because emissions from cell phones seemed in the same range with leaks from microwave ovens and my monitor was in the green a few inches away from both; however, again, you don't hold an oven next to your head.

It's not cancer that you get right away but a whole list of other serious illnesses of which some me and my acquaintances are experiencing right now (of which i didn't mention thyroid problems) in people coming from generations of healthy ancestors but living in much better conditions (life quality has improved dramatically in the last 50 years or so). The fruit of my ignorance combined with trustfulness, and plain criminal, genocidal, malevolence of some.

Maxwell's Demon Goes Electric?

Anybody who took some physics in HS and has a little imagination can understand how Maxwell's Demon thought experiment works.

So far it has been understood though the experiment is only evocative or allegorical as it can not work in reality.

You have two rooms full of gas molecules with a door in the middle, small enough for only one molecule to pass at the time. If you possess a demon (a small enough intelligent being) that has the capacity to open the small door and the energy used to open and close that door would be negligible and the demon would be smart enough to open the door each time when a fast molecule comes from right and close it when a fast one comes from left, after a while you would have all the slow molecules in the right room and all the fast ones in the left. And of course that difference of temperature could create energy if using something like a Stirling motor. But you could also commandeer the demon to open the door for all molecules coming from right or left and after a while you would have vacuum in one room and pressure in the other which again you could use to power something.

I think i've identified a couple of instances when this is happening in nature or within existing technology. Let's say you have a similar room filled with a gas with a layer of liquid of the same substance at the bottom (separated by gravity), at a pressure both phases can coexist. Due to thermal agitation there will be a continuous exchange of molecules between gas and liquid phases. However, molecules move much faster in gas phase than liquid. Because of that the molecules escape the liquid at a slower speed than some (of the fastest) gas molecules enter back the same liquid. Also, as soon as the slower raising (evaporating) molecules get hit by faster ones in the gas phase, they should enter back the liquid again at lower speeds than fastest moving in upper layer of gas and so on. So you would have a small strata at the surface of the liquid where gas will have a lower temperature that the rest.

No matter how much i've searched, i could not find anything clear and simple about such a commonly seen phenomena, the speed of electrons moving in a metal. Main reason is, you guessed, nobody ever saw them moving. Everybody agrees the electrons inside a metal are in a cloud like state, with electrons moving freely around. But as for the speed, there are many differences of opinions, because of the different models they use. In classical physics, that can explain some of the phenomena, they are moving at speeds comparable to speed of light. In quantum, you guessed, they are waveforms and the speeds can't be known exactly. However they all agree about the drift speed, the speed at which the electric charges of electrons move together when an external electric field is applied, creating what they call an "electric current" but that speed is excruciatingly slow, for practical currents, (where conductors will be stable or won't heat up and vaporise) the speeds are in the order of mm/sec. From that and from calculations it results that only a very small fraction of moving electrons or better said only a small fraction or the axial component of the speed of electrons makes our practical current.

However much more is known about the flow of currents in pure (intrinsic) semiconductors. When an electric field is applied, electrons jump from one atom to another, leaving behind "holes" that in turn are creating again electric fields (on top of the externally applied field) that are attracting other electrons in a cascading effect. This way, the average speed of electrons jumping around is always limited, if not constant at a few discrete values (have to consider acceleration and deceleration between two jumps or the paths of electrons). I found a GIF that illustrates this phenomenon.

The more interesting part happens however whey you put two of these together, on the left a pure metal and at right next to it a pure semiconductor like in series and attach a battery on the sides (your electric field) in such a way (polarity) that electrons will flow from the metal into the semiconductor. Electrons cannot enter the semiconductor at the speeds they float around in metal but only at drifting speed.

Though some models say electrons move around at speeds comparable to speed of light, in all directions, if a bunch of those would hit the semiconductor they will vaporise it, hower that is not happening. What is happening though and we can measure it, is an electric current (same) is flowing through both and the speed of that current is "regulated" by the jump speed of electrons in semiconductor.

We all know that any current generated by an external field that translates into drifting (axial motion) of the electrons through a metal generates heat. Some models predict drifting current represent a very small fraction of the motion of electrons. However if the electrons were moving in the metal at high speed, they will be slowed down by collisions with the lattice and all their energy will be turned into heat.

Though, ultimately heat itself keep the electrons moving. Compared to materials that don't have free electrons, at the same temperature the lattice itself will agitate less because some of the heat will be carried by (free moving) electrons. As i just read on a site, metal is part solid with a gas or liquid (of electrons) flowing through it, which explains thermal conductivity and other phenomena.

(By this simple idea i think we can actually calculate the non-drifting average speed of the electrons at different temperatures, by rule of three or something close including the lattice vibration, starting with the temperature difference and drift speed generated by a current that we can calculate. Which shouldn't be that high. Actually comparable with the drift speed).

By continuing this line of reasoning. At a metal/semiconductor junction with flowing of current from metal to semiconductor, electrons from the metal will be caught in newly created "holes" within the semiconductor due to external field but also due to field created by the hole itself. But within certain limits, of various speeds and directions, since the speed and generally motion of electrons in metal is random due to collisions with its own lattice. Some of them will have axial speeds exceeding the capacity of the semiconductor lattice to retain them (both external and hole field) and will be rejected back in the metal though at a lower speeds (some momentum of the electron will be transferred throughout the lattice, creating agitation or heat), where they will collide again with metal's lattice again and eventually some will come back at lower speed and be retained after a number of cycles and finally start jumping, in the direction of the field, maybe a bit more at first, but not enough to overheat the lattice (we know how keep the current below that limit, from previous trials), with again some momentum (heat) transferred between them and semiconductor lattice, until all they all reach "regular" jumping speed. So here again we come to the conclusion that electrons are being selected by the junction in a way similar to molecules in Maxwell's experiment, though in both "rooms" particles (electrons) are constantly moving (flowing) to the right though in metal they are moving more, because they are moving in all directions and carry some of the total thermal energy of the metal. So from a cloud of electrons moving randomly through the metal lattice at thermal agitation speed and drifting speed in the electrical field we extract in the semiconductor only those moving at drifting speed and we can all agree that the drifting speed is lower than the average speed of electrons moving in the metal lattice.

Some would call these phenomena that occur all around us "rectifying" the brownian motion (of molecules or electrons) and it has been admitted by mainstream that if this would be possible, it would be a source of unlimited energy. That's where our intelligence must intervene and  harvest the free energy that exist all around us. (If only we wouldn't be so busy with plotting and be slaves to fake theories).

Would the universe collapse or fragment or shatter into multiverses if we start doing that? I don't think so cause heat pumps do this for decades and nothing happened so far (that we know about, or maybe the Universe is not expanding so much anymore).

End of Tesla Era

Much effort is being done nowadays to cover the name of Nikola Tesla, greatest inventor of all times, father of all electrical and electronic devices as we know them. One of those efforts is the brand Tesla, a startup manufacturer for electric cars only. Why should they have designed and built a car from scratch just to make it electrical? There was so much expertise at traditional manufacturers, all they have to do is replace engine and fuel tank with an electric engine and a battery. But maybe they didn't want to and Tesla is kinda of forcing them.

Nikola Tesla. Could one single person with the education and technology existing at the end of 19th century have done what he did? 700 patents? For those who don't know, a patent is some sort of juridical protection over the design of a new device or component. If you get a patent on an idea, you can make money out of it because nobody else can use your idea without your approval. It is one way to stimulate inventors and research. But in order to do so, after you "get the idea" you have to write down a complete description in such a way it would stand in court as proof it was your idea so you would discourage eventual attempts to infringe and then file that description with the authority in your country.

Anybody knows how much time it takes to write and file a patent? I'd say from one week to one month/inventor and/or attorney, depending on complexity, novelty, previously existing similar ones. Today's filing fees are more than 5000 dollars and you cannot be sure if you have it approved and especially if you will get anything in return. Smallest mistake could lead to failure to protect. Easiest way to go around a patent is to file another one and improve enough on the original idea (so you have to cover also in your description all possible improvements).

Thinking about how much money Musk's Tesla had to pay in royalties over existing patents or to lawyers to file new ones to go around those to build a car from scratch and he how gave them all away in 2014.

There are sites that made calculation on how much money Tesla have made out of his inventions and they say he should have been one of the richest people on planet at that time but he died bankrupt and senile in hotel room he wasn't paying for. That is the reason why i highly doubt Nikola did all those by himself but they were done by whole teams. Guys like Austro-Hungarian born Nikola Tesla, all the way to Intels' co-founder Hungarian born Andrew Grove, where/are just fronts, while the source of their knowledge and technology where most likely documents found in the Great Pyramid during Napoleon's invasion of Egypt. So they first had to invent Tesla.

"Tesla" did study in Austria and worked first at Budapest Telephone Company. Telephone was the ultimate thing done with wired technology, before Tesla invented wireless. Which was first attributed to the Italian Marconi. The radio.

Which what this post is all about. Radio made possible instant spread of information to the masses. If it was used for our good or for our doom. It all depends on the source of the invention, if it was from a genuine genius or from a past civilization possibly of alien origin destroyed after a global conflict with locals.

I'm writing all these trying to coerce everybody into thinking. All of a sudden, at the beginning of the 19th century we get this out of this world technology which would allow those who control it to control the minds of all people.

One example which again, nowadays they make big efforts trying to cover. Like most anything.

The infamous live transmission of Orson Welles that "was performed and broadcast live as a Halloween episode at 8 p.m. on Sunday, October 30, 1938, over the Columbia Broadcasting System radio network".

«The program's format was a simulated live newscast of developing events. The first two-thirds of the hour-long play is a contemporary retelling of events of the novel, presented as news bulletins interrupting programs of dance music. "I had conceived the idea of doing a radio broadcast in such a manner that a crisis would actually seem to be happening," Welles later said, "and would be broadcast in such a dramatized form as to appear to be a real event taking place at that time, rather than a mere radio play.»

There was a warning at the beginning but who listened to that?

«The illusion of realism was furthered because the Mercury Theatre on the Air was a sustaining program without commercial interruptions; the first break in the drama was about 35 minutes after the introduction, right after Martian war machines were described devastating New York City. Popular legend holds that some of the radio audience may have been listening to The Chase and Sanborn Hour with Edgar Bergen and tuned in to "The War of the Worlds" during a musical interlude, thereby missing the clear introduction indicating that the show was a drama. However, «contemporary research suggests that this happened only in rare instances».

I think it is safe to assume that out of boredom people back then were browsing radio stations pretty much like we do today with TV channels. So what i think it happened is most people stumbled upon that transmission after it began, obviously without hearing the warning, could not ignore it and as they continue to listen until they went crazy, ran away, started to prepare, etc..

I first read about this on the early days of the internet, probably before that "contemporary research". They were talking about people listening to other broadcasts, then tuned later into this one. Hundreds of suicides and chaos all around the country.

But this was just a test. Done in 1938. They wanted to know exactly how people reacted to prepare the recipe with the right ingredients for psychological preparation for the future planned war. Or maybe it was the first mass media scale use of reverse psychology, a failed alien invasion, as many people kept asking themselves, where all this technology is coming for? Both?

But before that. Think about how radio changed the world. Some people could communicate faster than others, from unknown location to unknown location. For about 50 years very few had the technology to scan the whole spectrum. You could schedule a rendezvous with someone and transmit with a code during a very brief period, before they could find the frequencies.

But the idea behind this post is other. I've been intrigued lately, actually since i came to US about how smart people i talk to are. Like a whole bunch of experts in everything where whispering in their ears what to say.

Now we all know it is possible with the help of micro headphones. During that era Tesla was going around the country with his electricity promoting shows. Imagine him or others, like Einstein, awing other people in conversations with their genius.

Usually nowadays micro headphones are associated with much electronics, many components, blue tooth maybe which is a short waves short range type of radio communication.

I remember something since i was a kid. There is something called unpowered crystal radio. It is based on the fact that actual radio transmitters are broadcasting with unusually high power signals. In the US power for radio stations is limited to to 50kW or about twice the power needed for a car to cruise, or maybe to power 5 homes. The "crystal" is a form of an early diode which was capable of rectifying (back then it was called "detecting") the high (radio) frequency of a tuned circuit made of a capacitor and a coil and turn it into a signal that could move (vibrate) a headphone's membrane enough for someone with good hearing, like a kid, to hear the broadcast. So it was also possible with the technology of those times to make a sound heard with a small power over a short distance. But i bet you don't even need a crystal for that. You can have stuck in someone's year a tiny coil that would vibrate a membrane if the transmitter is within a few meters. To greatly enhance the appearance of personalities in public. I imagine on the other side of the curtain or wall or inside a van all the experts relaxed in armchairs next to a transmitter saying (whispering) the next line. Lucky those who were convinced cause i assume only the ignorant survived Tesla Era which is being brought to an end nowadays as we speak by the new technology, the Internet, which finally gives all the people the freedom to exchange information. Though very late.

Thou Shall Not...

Când vine vorba de practicarea religiei creștine în România, totul e puțin pe dos. De exemplu. Sectele creștine protestante de inspirație mai ales americană sunt numite culte. Te-ai fi așteptat ca versiunea lor de Biblie, o traducere de Dumitru Cornilescu, să fie mă rog, tradusă din una din numeroasele versiuni din engleză. (Poate ar fi sunat însă prea exotic și neatractiv ortodocșilor chiar nepracticanți pe care sperau să-i atragă). Probabil nu sunt singurul dar destul de singular zilele acestea amintind de versul (versetul, un diminutiv) 20:14 din Exod (Ieșirea, Исход). Adverbul prea. În DEX se trece limita greșelii ocazionale dincolo de rezonabil și se adaugă și un sens "foarte mult". Asta condamnă pe vecie expresia "prea mult" la pleonasm. Și etimologia slavonă. Ca multe altele etimologii greșite din DEX. ("Doar pentru că sună atât de asemănător?"). Cel mai pro-babil în română prea vine din latinul praenimis în conjuncție cu sanscritul priya. Asta dacă vrem să lucrăm puțin pe ipoteza că sanscrita e prima sursă a limbii române, urmată de latină.

Întotdeauna am suspectat că această traducere din rusă a prefixului pre, care persistă în mod inexplicabil și într-o traducere modernă sinodală, când erau accesibile pentru comparație atâtea versiuni în engleză, împreună cu multe alte aspecte lingvistice, din care unele sunt pomenite mai sus sunt/au fost intenționat subversive. Dar probabil bat apa în piuă pentru că în primul rând ar trebui făcută ordine în DEX. Poate doar dacă se implică prea mult poliția din Constanța, să-l filtreze.

Plasma Membrane in Prokariotes, Eukariotes, Viruses

They both do have a membrane made of a lipid bylayer. The "housing" of every living cell. However prokaryotes have an extra cell wall.

Here is a diagram of an eukariote focused on the membrane. You can see the two layers of phospholipids (with red "heads") that stay together by means hydration repulsion , hydrophobic attraction and van der Waals forces. It is this combination of forces and existence of polar phospholipids that makes possible all life.
However, as stated above, eukariotes in vertebrates lack a cell wall. To protect the fragile lipid bylayer they have to secrete a protective layer of proteins, mainly collagen, that forms what we call the extracellular matrix.

Antibiotics rely on the fact that bacteria are prokaryotes and have a cell wall (with some exceptions, but those are parasitic or live only inside host cells) and animal cells are eukaryotes. They prevent building of new bacterial cell wall made of peptidoglycan after bacterial (cellular) division. New bacteria cannot survive without a cell wall as they can't secrete an extracellular matrix.

Viruses are not cells. They are a molecular structure made of a lipid bylayer with binding proteins on the outside, ARN fragments and proteins (sometimes in a capsid) on the inside and they lack both cell walls as in prokaryotic cells and extracellular matrix as in eukaryotic cells.
Question. How coronaviruses "survive" in the environment, outside and inside of a host, without a cell wall or an extracellular matrix?

One possible answer is when they leave the host they can only "survive" inside fragments of extracellular matrix from damaged areas of the body or engulfed in mucus secretions.

Votul nominal pentru abrogarea pensiilor speciale

Atenție, fb nu face trimiterea la acest link (trunchiază link-ul, dispare partea de după semnul întrebării). Poate webmasterii de la cdep.ro au știut. Așa că l-am pus aici. O postare pentru un link. Nu-i  nimic, mai scriu comentarii aici. Parlamentarul cu numele Ciolacu Ion Marcel a votat DA (adică pentru respingerea abrogării). Am impresia că PSD se pregătește să-i dea masiv alegerile lui PNL. Dar PNL-iștii au votat și ei DA. Nu era nevoie. După cum spuneam, PSD în acest parlament poate vota orice, singur. Au majoritate aproape absolută (absolută chiar în Senat) iar dacă lipsesc suficient din ceilalți...  Scenariul a fost ăsta. PSD și PNL au votat DA. USR și UDMR a votat nu, că trebuia să fie și o opoziție. O democrație acolo. Discuție închisă (altfel ținea până la alegeri). Cine spunea că să fie numai 300 de parlamentari? Păi nu sunt niciodată mai mult de 300. Prezenți. A. PMP a lipsit de la această ședință? Ce chestie. Am observat mai demult. UDMR votează mai totdeauna politic corect. Nu ca păpușelele lor, PSD și PNL. Cum să scăpați de parlamentari? Foarte simplu. Nu-i mai votați.

Conjuncție Jupiter-Saturn 2020

Nu se recomandă pe telefon. Dacă faceți click pe oricare din imaginile de mai  jos, apoi F11 și mișcați roata mouse-ului, veți avea o animație a mișcării planetelor în jurul datei de 21 decembrie, când se produce conjuncția (alinierea), alte informații din capturi de ecran cu ajutorul programului (aplicației) de planetariu virtual numită Stellarium. O aliniere producă la solstițiu poate părea ciudată celor care nu urmăresc constant aceste fenomene. Este o coincidență rară dar nimic mai mult.

Stellarium este un program (aplicație) gratuită de tip open source relativ ușor de folosit (pentru o folosire minimă, o oră de training sau câteva ore de explorare de unul singur) care a fost dezvoltat inițial de un inginer și programator francez acum în vârstă de 40 ani, Fabien Chéreau. O idee simplă, fiind o colecție de funcții (elipse) dependente de timp în diferite sisteme de referință, pentru fiecare planetă (stea, lună) pornind de la o bază de date de peste 400 mii de stele și planete. Deși nu ține cont de gravitație altfel decât aceasta fiind inclusă în funcțiile respective, este remarcabil de precis, putând face preziceri și reconstituiri pe mii de ani înainte și după.

Una din cele mai frumoase realizări IT care funcționează începând din 2001 pe sisteme de operare grafice interactive furnizate de Windows și Linux. Pentru cei care nu sunt deciși să-l instaleze, am făcut mai multe capturi de ecran (screenshots) mai întâi dintr-un punct de vedere pe o axă perpendiculară pe planul planetar (care conține orbitele eliptice ale planetelor) iar apoi de pe Pământ, mai precis București, în jurul datei de 20 decembrie, când se prezice o conjuncție (aliniere) Jupiter cu Saturn. Acest tip de alinieri se produc aproximativ la fiecare 20 de ani, totuși multe din ele nu sunt vizibile fiindcă se poziționează de partea opusă a Soarelui (ultimele două imagini). Dacă faceți clic pe oricare din imagini și mișcați roata mouse-ului puteți obține un fel de animație interactivă arătând deplasarea planetelor în conjuncție în jurul datei respective. Jupiter se vede ca un ghem fiindcă sunt arătate orbitele sateliților (lunilor) sale. Această conjuncție este descrisă de media ca fiind prima cea mai apropiată după 800 de ani, e vorba de o variație a apropierii orbitelor celor două mari planete, de ordinul a câteva procente din cauză că orbitele nu sunt cercuri ci ușor eliptice.

Stelele sunt obiecte cerești aproximativ la fel de luminoase dar mult mai mari (de fapt sunt toate niște sori de diferite tipuri) și mult mai îndepărtate decât planetele și apar fixe pe cer (în afară de rotația zilnică aparentă în jurul Pâmântului) în timp ce planetele se deplasează tot timpul față de stele, deplasare ce poate fi prezisă prin funcții matematice simple. De fapt numele de planetă (care a dat numele planului din geometrie) vine de la grecescul planetes care înseamnă rătăcitor. Da, Eminescu a luat numele luceafărului său de la o lună a planetei Saturn.
