Sunday Morning Mole Run

These are the areas where along the years i've been fighting with the moles. There are about 10+ places next to foundation. Every time i see a bulge i feel smoke inside big time. As soon as i flatten the bulges, the smoke disappears for a couple of hours util the bulges re-emerge. If you asked me, i think it's some sort of combined religious rituals. Moles symbolize Amaterasu while smoke symbolizes the hound of Dominicans (St. Dominic) (who is supposed to set the Earth on fire). Could also be masonic business as i hypothesized mole mounds could be the model for pyramids and other masonic things. So i figured if i could eliminate the moles, there would be no more smoke.

I remember in the first years here kids came to play on the grass area and were yelling like crazy because they were probably getting high on the smoke.

It was one of those days when i went to management and complained about a number of things, including one big truck idling for up to half hour at the time, making a big sound with a broken exhaust and the moles. Truck has stopped but moles remained.

I've been trying to pour in many things including water, hot sauce, chewing gum, gummy worms, other things. The only thing it worked was buzzers, inside galleries, for about 4 months last year or two years ago. Some of the best 4 months of me living here. But as soon as they ran out of batteries they quit working though i tried to replace the batteries. One quit working and the other was not effective after replacing batteries. Then i bought and put solar ones. But they have been taken by passerbies. The i tried to modify the solar ones and added batteries. It worked for a few days or weeks and then the moles came back though i was hearing the sound of buzzers from the ground. I figured the moles adapted.

But in the last few days an idea came to me. I was thinking about borax (an old type laundry detergent which is very toxic to insects including worms that moles eat, ants but not to humans. In fact, it is used in big concentrations as a preservative in some foods, including caviar. But i knew borax in certain concentration may kill the well maintained grass which feeds many worms which worms keep the moles active.

So i poured borax inside the holes next to building, where there is no grass. As soon as i did so the moles did not come back at the same holes. Today i was close to finishing all the holes (and bringing it all to a game over situation) (can't do one until it pops) and i went out with a plastic stick to probe the bulges. But for the first time since i mess with the moles in many years, sometimes hours a day, a guy from maintenance came on his cart, stopped by and went to look at the big mounds in the middle of the grass which i haven't touched.  Then i got really nervous, went inside, and back outside to take the pictures. I saw the guy with the big truck that comes out many times when i open the door. He looked upset or mad and was walking in a weird way, can't tell exactly why i thought so. I climbed down the stairs but miscalculated the last step, while being of course high on smoke and almost fell, i didn't but i strained my already injured back. Though i can't feel much pain right now.

April 10

2:25 There was smoke inside at Ilani tonight though nobody was smoking. I went back to the car only to realize the smoke was coming from outside and into the AC. There was so much i had to take a shower when i got home. Can't sleep with that smoke in my hair.

Then i decided i need to search for one more person that was making headlines in Romania for decades and now resurfaced, because i had it wrong. In that moment the room filled again with smoke. Lately i've been pouring a mild borax solution in some of the holes. Those hole generally stay closed after. Tonight i grabbed my stick and watering can and was agitating it outside the door to dissolve the borax at the bottom when 4 of the kids that grew here (at least one of them) passed running through the alley (after 2 AM).

When i got back inside i realized how much smoke was in fact in here and i'm airing with the door open ever since.

2:51 Some people with a white car were making some rhythmic noises in the alley and now the're gone but the room filled again with smoke. Now some are taking outside.

DIY or DIE

I bought this contraption about 2 weeks ago online for 35 bucks planning to refill my moldy AC with Freon which i did. (When i did it i accidentally released some Freon that was smelling strongly like mold).

After i was done with it i put it in big plastic bag, a cardboard box planning to re-use it in a while to check if the AC in the car kept pressure and in the middle of the living, 2 meters away from where i sleep most nights and spend most times.
I first noticed i started to have mucus discharge in my nose. First i ignored it then i started to believe it was from the mold but yesterday i woke up with tonsils so inflamed and throat so full of mucus i could barely breath or talk or swallow. So i started to take some antibiotics (i always keep a stash for situations like this). At first it seemed to help but towards the evening it flared back. And then i finally figured. It was the bag with the device in the middle of living that was putting a very irritant something in the air. Mole_cules.

Then i reacted. I searched online. PAG46 oil (it was obviously the oil not the refrigerant that evaporated within seconds after i unhooked the thing) is said to be water soluble so i ran some water through hoses and put it in water till morning. However that didn't do it as the irritating smell (now i can recognize it but is not very distinctive) was present in the bathroom. Then i added some dishwasher detergent which is supposed to make oil more water soluble. Something changed at the surface of the water. Smell in the bathroom diminished.

And now conclusions. I don't believe it's the oil (yeah i know technically it's not an oil but an alcohol) but the additive from the brand i bought at O'Reillys also available at Autozone. ICE32. Cause the other one available in stores at Walmart that didn't have the additive was of unknown viscosity (simply PAG oil). Because the oil has been around for a long time and as they say "all AC systems do leak" more or less (otherwise you wouldn't have to refill them, duh!).

It's just another come up that is supposed to enhance the oil "by binding to metal" bla bla. The more unnatural theses things get the nastier. Ironically it has the number 32 in the brand name.

There are lots of people complaining about AC making them sick, and this may be one the reasons it may make them even sicker in the future. The more classical reason is contamination of the in dashboard (impossible to clean) cold radiator (evaporator) and ducts.

April 7

8:17 Diplomatul Belicos

8:38 This is a first. Got a back pain so severe i just can't sit so i write while laying in bed on a side. It's about officer Sparkle from Lake Oswego. One day i could not stand the smoke no more and called the Police. It was then where i met him. While waiting for him i popped the hood of the truck ad dropped the keys in a hard to reach place. When he came he just reached and grabbed them for me. In that moment the dog of my next door neighbor (Apt.9) came and he got nervous and asked me if it was mg dog. Anyways, he left and he said the smoke was from leaves.

In a different day again i was working on the truck and got so much of the smoke and irritating dust i just left and drove around like crazy on Boones Ferry. But he was not ready that day. The day after, again i went to get gas from Chevron at Boones Ferry and I5, i was driving normally that day, but when the attendant was supposed to give me the receipt officer Sparkle gave it to me instead. Then he pulled me out of the truck, gave me a sobriety test and a frisk when another cop came, a woman, and he finally left me alone.

I wrote this because yesterday i discovered another possible etymology for Lake Oswego. Widow is a major theme in Freemasonry.

8:54 Carmen Bejan?

11:32 Had a pair of jeans that i used for at least a week before i finally threw them in the washer and put some water on top because they were stinking. Today i wanted to wash them, put more stuff in the washer to make a load, but when i tried, nothing. The washer wouldn't start. Then i remember the whole process i went through a couple of times since i moved already. Shall i call them? It would probably take at least one day. I would probably have to remove the water and the laundry to let them fix it or replace it. So i just went and looked at the lid switch which was broken and temporarily fixed by me about 5 years ago. The spring in there jumped or something broke (a piece of plastic came out). I shorted the switch and started the load, however, have to fix them better. Or call them.

Also last time when i fixed the water heater (after inspection, the distribution box was full of water) i set the thermostat to 125 degrees and today i saw the water is a bit too hot from what i was used to but when i went to adjust it i saw it was already down like 10 degrees from my last set, so i wasn't sure what to do, i moved it a little lower anyways.

Both water heater and washer/dryer are 20+ years old but since i messed with them i'm afraid to call them to have them replaced. Water heater had some sort of mud under, i lifted it and partially cleaned it in the first year or so, but that was after i replaced the thermostat and was again afraid to call them.

All these might have something to do with the fact that last night i forgot the door completely open? I mean, it was closed but not all the way, unlocked and without the block (i use a piece of wood) but if somebody would have pushed it with a finger... Also yesterday when i left for the walk i forgot to take the picture of the two rotating bottles at the door. Those bottles rotate when i open the door and set in a different position every time and if i take a picture when i leave i know if somebody's been here when i come back and take another picture which i do every time except when i forget.

8:28 I'm kinda late with this post. Figured it too late. The reason for the construction site was the public toilet. It started a few months ago, not sure, maybe last year.  A point on my 3 miles loop. A big mystery to me. What were they trying to build? There was even a small excavator on the side of the road, for the same amount of time. Then about two weeks ago i became intrigued and took a picture of the site. The next day teams were working. First they cut the asphalt. Then they poured asphalt. What they did was a couple of gigantic speed bumps, maybe 30 ft long each. Both on the right side of the road as leaving the residential area. Then i realized. Every time i passed that public toilet there was a man walking towards it (and then passing of course). Today instead they made me rendez-vous with that plane.

8:45 This "fitness trainer from Ukraine" landed in Romania a few days ago and became an instant star after an older man who realized who she was gave her a small amount of money for her to fill her car with gas.

9:31 No there was not that sort of damage at the car, only optical illusions created by the puddle of water created by a clogged sewer the car's been sitting on for weeks before they started to work on it (until i got the parts i ordered myself). I washed upholstery, vacuumed the dog food from heater core but the AC got contaminated with mold and/or bacteria. I accidentally releases some Freon when i refilled it and it was smelling like mold big time. Ever since i've become sicker and sicker especially after walks upstairs. In the morning solid tiny pieces like sand come from my eyes. This morning my tonsils were so big i started to have breathing problems. Keeping Augmentin in my mouth ever since and i got even better than before in half day. But when i tried to stop, after a walk upstairs, my eyes, throat, ears and everything started to hurt again.

Buddha's (Super) Bowl

So i was right. I mean, it was brewing in my mind for a long time. Besides Judaism being monotheistic (with lots of heroes though) and Hinduism being polytheistic but with one supreme God, like Freemasons would require, in fact, Abraham do sound a bit like Brahma, but that is a different story for another day.

I was thinking more of Buddha. And the uniqueness of points of view which makes us all different and sometimes hard to understand each other. I was thinking the other day how different my life is from a normal person's and then Buddha example came to mind.

He was a rich prince who never knew the worries of life until that day when drawn by curiosity and disobedience he ventured outside the palace to view the world. It is known that Indian (Nepalese, whatever) princes were kept apart from the world so they would not know what suffering is because then they would not be capable of ruling. As predicted, he then became so disgusted with the rich life, he just left the palace, wife and everything to "search enlightenment". However, wherever he went, his previous life and most likely fame and education would give him a preferential treatment. Even when he was begging for his bowl of food on the side of the road. He confounded this karmic advantage with his own mindset which was also different from of most people. He thought people simply don't know how to live (how to keep away from suffering) because of ignorance and then he started his famous teachings which might all be a bit not for the ordinary people. In fact, no educated people thus nobody can understand the ordinary people which in turn never know how to express themselves, like Madonna says. They instead label them stupid, emotionally driven, manipulate those emotions and make (sometimes existential) decisions for them. Could this explain the existence to this day of secret societies notably Freemasons who work secretly for the good of the mankind? Though the idea of Freemasonry is much older, it is said that after the flood sibling Fuxi and Nuwa (Noa) rebuilt the world with a square and a compass and also square and compass are similar to two different types of boomerangs.

There is a small minority in Romania called Szeklers (Secui, Romanian) who have a flag very similar to that of Nepal where to this day there is the Sakia (in Sanskrit) population, the clan in which Buddha was born. Living close to the larger Hungarian minority which nowadays claim the name Magyar, which could also come from the larger Magar Population in Nepal of which Hungary capital was called until a hundred fifty years ago simply Buda.

It is said that masons comunicate with the rest of us who they call prophans in a variety of means, one of them simple gestures as (unnatural) steps, that may be inspired of those of pinguins or moles but can certainly induce certain psycophisiolgical responses.
