Brake Job

My brakes were done 2 years ago at Les Schwab Tires Center in Tigard. Sunday i drove to Vancouver to talk to some guys i knew at a church over there. None of them were actually there. When i left here i found this 1/2x1/2 inch by 2 mm piece of magnet glued to one my shoes. When i pulled it it came out with the top layer of the leather from the right shoe in the rear on the outside. When i came back my brake pedal was making this farting sound. When i looked there was no brake fluid in the front reservoir. Monday i went to one of the Les Schwab stores in Aloha, Oregon. They did the brakes in warranty but did not machine (resurface) the rotors. The brakes aren't working well. They pull right. Today i was looking to take a picture to prove to them they did not machine the rotors and i found the left caliper was leaking again by the line, exactly in the same spot as before. Today at 2 PM i have appointment at the Lake Oswego Les Schwab store. By the way every time i go in the parking lot to take a picture of some part of my car a plane or two show up.

Maybe that's why they did this back in 2008. Can't distinguish tire size but i will try to enhance contrast on this one. Maybe i'm going to download Gimp after all.

My front brakes now stink like new metal even from inside the apartment and my tires are like balloons and at corners they bounce like a basketball ball against the wall. When i brake it goes zigzag, fist right then left then right again. Rest of the time feels like in a boat. They put the wrong size tires last time too. I never thought i will need to know what size of tires i need but today i finally looked on the door after i read on forums. My tires really are too big! Today i went to Wilsonville and felt a vibration and although i said i won't go to Les Schwab again there i went and now i feel like the rear tires are even bigger then yesterday after i asked them to re-balance the tires they took them off for some reason while a FedEx delivery truck came over. The first time when i measured them they were like 28 inches diameter then i went to Home Depot bought two yard sticks and built a huge caliper and measured them. The are 27.5 in rear and 27 in front, about 2 inches bigger then they should.

I finally got my tires problem solved. 205/70/R15. They are about 26.3 inches diameter. Friday at Sears Auto Center near Washington Square Mall in Tigard. Strange things happened in there also. For the first hour i was sick as a dog. Because of the overnight smoke in the apartment. By the way i have my balcony door is open for an hour now and i still fill some smoke coming probably from within the walls. There was this guy that reminded me of a celebrity that sold me the tires. It took him an hour just to negotiate the tires to put on. Then another guy that also looked like a celebrity wanted to test drive my car because i told them about braking problems. They told me i had a problem with a steering bar. However my truck was making a crackling sound when braking ever since i bought first tires Wednesday at at Les Schwab in lake Oswego. Similar to the sound my old Ford Escort was making back in 1997. But that one has being bought by me from Insurance Auto Auction in 97 for 800 bucks and has been sold because it was previously totaled in a collision. LOL i straighten back then the right front part of its unobody with a cable tighten from a tree and than backing up. Then i put a fender, a hood and a radiator and radiator mask myself, at Lyle Hall's apartment in Hilsboro i think near Menlo road when i was colleague with him at Credence.

After Wednesday front and rear suspension of my truck seems risen a bit maybe half to one inch.

My balcony door is not open now but when i first wrote this comment. Gotta find a way to edit comments in blogger no matter what. Rewriting them and deleting the old ones changes the time and date of the original comment.
