This is the Seven Eleven where in December 1995 a shooting took place.
Days after i moved in there, at nearby Fox Pointe Appartments here below
hoping i was going to work at AVX, nearby. A Romanian girl has been shot
in the butt with a rifle from a car but in the article i read in the
newspaper the next day then said the charge of the cartridge has been modified so it
won't have so much power. Later (in 1999) i got to work at AVX, Kyocera
Ceramics on this map, with that girl' sister who was now married with a
Mexican and was pregnant for the majority of the time i worked in
there. Hope i will later remember their name (Nelu Ciorba from Romanian Times in Portland knows them). I lived at Fox Pointe
until July 1996 when i moved to Beaverton, OR, closer to Credence where i
was working.
I remembered when i moved i've been worried about that big antenna in
the middle of a field in the back of Seven Eleven on that picture as i
knew it's not really healthy to live nearby one of those. I'm wandering
who it belonged to.
I've been looking both in Oregonian and Columbian Archives and i called Columbian in Vancouver. It was in one of the papers. But can't find it now.
